Founded in 1950 in Varese by Giovanni Castiglioni (father of Claudio), originally as a manufacturer of small metal parts, in the world of motorcycles since 1978, when sons Claudio and Gianfranco Castiglioni take over the company AMF-Harley Davidson in liquidation giving it the name of family business. The name derives from the acronym between the name of the founder and the site of the plants, in fact it means CAstiglioni GIovanni VArese.
