Narcovember Prompt Roulette List
Saalud a mi gente! We in the Narcos Fandom Forever discord server are excited to bring another 30-day challenge: a multifandom event that weâre nevertheless calling Narcovember. Despite its name, this is open to ALL FANDOMS, NOT JUST NARCOS. Creators are encouraged to submit fanworks (fic, art, gifs, vids, op-eds) for any fandom your heart desires!
This event's format is a bit unconventional. Instead of a prompt for each day of the month, there's a Prompt Roulette Wheel and a Prompt Index (â below) featuring numbered items with three prompts each. Every day you'll spin the wheel. The number that comes up on the spin corresponds to a number on the index where you can then pick one of the three prompts.
So for example, say on day one, I spin the wheel and get number 8. Iâd go to 8 on the index (titled These Damn Restraints). Of those three prompts, I like Yikes best so that's my day one prompt. Next day, I spin and get 14. I find 14 on the index (Decisions, Decisions, Decisions) and pick one of those for day two's prompt. And so on. Note: If, on Day 2, instead of 14 I got 8 again, Iâd spin the wheel again to get a new number. If, for whatever reason, you donât want to spin twice, you can choose another prompt from that "Book of" that you haven't used (e.g. Day 1, I chose Yikes. So Day 2, Iâd go for, "Now you know why I never say anything.") Ideally, we think itâs more fun to not repeat index items, but ultimately itâs dealerâs choice. Aka we're not about to get real fascist policing, aint nobody got time for that.
Here's -> the roulette wheel. Or you can make your own! (Just make sure it has 30 slices.)
Use the hashtag #narcovember or tag us to submit your entries so we can reblog them! A note on the masterlist - bc of the Tumblr-imposed link limit, for now we'll only link the fic. BUT at the end of the month, there will be a comprehensive list with all the contributorsâ blogs so ppl can find your other work easily.Â
Happy spinning, everybody!

Reminder!
During a time of folks using current events to spread hate and vitriol, itâs important to stand firm with love and support for Jewish people and make sure our spaces are firmly free of antisemitism. Fighting fire with fire is never the solution, and support and action for groups in peril does not and should not require falling to different types of bigotry or antisemitic tropes. MKCember is a celebration of a beloved Jewish character and all aspects of that should be respected and loved, and focus on joy and genuine exploration. While creating your works, be aware, be vigilant, and be informed, and together we can make something lovely! /end ID]

Cinco Paâ Las Doce Instagram highlight (transcript below)
Transcript of Cinco Paâ Las Doce deep dive by @belablue222:
âCinco Pa' las doce: a cultural deep dive and its ties to the moon knight system.
Disclaimer: I am latina, but i cannot speak for all of the traditions practiced or not practiced in all latinoamĂŠrica countries due to how many of us there are, as well as how unique each of our traditions are. Because of this, I will be using traditions that are more widely practiced.
As we approach the end of the year, places all over the world prepare to bring in the new year with all sorts of traditions and customs. It is a time of celebrating, mingling, and integrating. Itâs a time for one to connect to their background of where they come from, and embrace tradition.
New Years is especially important in latinoamĂŠrica, and has traditions that go back decades or even centuries. Today, i will be talking about a well known and beloved tradition, as well as others that are commonly practiced in central and South America.
Cinco Paâ Las Doce
Written in 1963 and performed by Venezuelan actor and singer NĂŠstor Zavarce, Cinco Pa' Las Doce is a hauntingly beautiful song about a person wanting to run home to hug their mom for New Years, with the sound of bells playing throughout the street. The song became immensely popular throughout latinoamĂŠrica throughout the years, and there are many different versions with many different styles, but the original one still remains the iconic classic widely known.
In typical tradition, people with gather together at 11:55pm on New Yearâs Eve and spend time together, thinking about past memories, wondering what the new years will bring, and enjoy each others company as the song plays. Once the song ends, it is midnight, and people will celebrate this by doing many different traditions, here are a few of them that are most commonly practiced...
Typical traditions:
Fireworks: like a lot of other places, fireworks are often lit in the biggest of cities, or the smallest of villages, the colors brightening the sky of the new year.
12 uvas: eating 12 grapes at midnight is a tradition that is ment to bring good luck for the new year, and represent 12 wishes that will only come true if the grapes are eaten quickly.
Walking a block with a suitcase: when the clock strikes midnight, some people will grab a suitcase and walk (or even run) a block around their neighborhood for them to be able to travel and go to many places in the new year
Lentils: lentils have significance in many different ways for latam countries. some will eat lentils or lentil soup at midnight, others will pocket them or even wrap 12 of them in a bill, no matter what, lentils are meant to bring good fortune and prosperity for the new year.
Yet what does this all have to do with Moon Knight?
The Moon Knight system in the MCU are both Jewish as well as Latino. New years is a great way for them to connect with their latam roots, while also being respectful to their other traditions as well. They can enjoy latinoamerican foods that are customary to the winter seasons, sing songs in spanish, and enjoy many other things. they could even intigrate things or come up with new traditions so they can comfortably celebrate el aĂąo nuevo.
From an artistic standpoint, it's a good way to ponder what their relationship is with these traditions that have deep ties to family, and the potential effects it has on them due to their own relationship with their family. Do they struggle? Do they reclaim? Do they pass these traditions on?
An interesting thing to ponder to the ethereal bells of Cinco Pa' las Doce.â (End of transcript)

AU Tidbits
#1: Bee and Nightshade decided to fix up the old Witwicky Cemetery and clean the gravestones. They even added a path so people could come to visit and pay respects.
#2: Bee got in contact with Tarantulas but hasn't told Nightshade because he wants to keep it a surprise.
#3: Jon already had a sneaking suspicion that the Maltos were harboring Cybertronians but didn't say anything and only played along with Croft's ideas. He asked Dot and Alex to come clean when he dropped them off at home after the race in season 1.
#4: Dot sued GHOST for endangering the environment after season 1 episode 15.
#5: Bee never forced the Insecticons to do what he said, even though he's their queen
#6: Charlie Watson helped design the Spacebrige Memorial Park along with Rafale Esquivel
#7a: https://www.tumblr.com/shadthchan052-blog/766720722052743168/au-tidbits-7a?source=share
#7b: Tarantulas was there and did nothing; but has since made it up to Bee, so Bee doesn't hate him as much anymore. Dot knows about it and told Nightshade when Bee had to leave after the race. It took a while for them to come to terms with the fact.
#8: Bee managed to get the Philadelphia Bot Brawl shut down by sending video evidence to the police since they're the equivalent of dog fights. As well as photos of all the humans running the ring, landing a good portion of them in jail.
#9: Bee is a really sick kid. The Maltos only found out when he got an extremely high fever to the point you could cook an egg on him; in the middle of winter.
#10: Bee would ride around on Grimlock's dino head when he was in bot mode when he was younger.
#11: Bee and Megatron helped to design Dot's prosthetic leg to move like an actual leg (in the show it doesn't seem like she has a prosthetic with the way her leg moves.)
#12: Bee fell asleep in OP's cab during the war because he felt safe. When he outgrew it he would fall asleep in Prime's trailer. And did so in "Dude, where's my trailer?", because his PTSD was flaring up again, but OP forgot to tell Robby and Hashtag.
#13: Bee went running to Megatron after saving him and Dot during "Age of Evolution" (season 1 episode 9) to give him the biggest hug since the end of the war because he was worried.
#14: Hashtag is a triple changer that can switch between a truck and a jet like the Seekers.

Silvana Estrada â Si Me Matan
In Mexico, about 10 women and girls are killed every day by partners or family members. The Mexican singer-songwriter Silvana Estrada wrote about this in "Si Me Matan" or "If They Kill Me."
As a young, female musician traveling alone to play small gigs across Mexico, Estrada came across a story on social media. A young woman around her age had taken a cab and was later found dead. But most of the online chatter blamed the victim for being out late by herself.
A series of similar cases sparked a hashtag on social media - #SiMeMatan - #IfTheyKillMe - in which women pushed back against the idea of being responsible for their own murder. It sparked something in Estrada, and she started writing. (full story HERE)

Targeting Urban Audiences: How Cab Advertising Reaches Diverse Demographics
In the bustling streets of metropolitan areas, the audience is as diverse as it gets. From young professionals dashing through the streets to tourists soaking in the sights and sounds, urban environments teem with potential customers for any business. Cab advertising stands out as an innovative approach to not only navigate through but actively engage with this diverse urban tapestry. Letâs explore how this dynamic advertising medium taps into the urban demographic blend, ensuring that your message doesnât just travel but resonates across the board.
Connectivity on the Move
One of the defining features of cab advertising is its inescapable mobility. As cabs meander through city streets, stand in bustling squares, and line up at popular spots, they become a constant in the ever-changing urban scenery. This mobility allows businesses to connect with a wide range of urban dwellers, from the executive heading to the next meeting to the group of friends exploring the cityâs nightlife. Cab advertising brings your message to busy intersections, outside business districts, residential areas, and places of leisure, ensuring a broad demographic exposure.
A Day in the Life
Consider a typical day in the city. A cab adorned with eye-catching advertising starts its journey in the early hours of the morning, catching the attention of early risers and morning commuters. As the day progresses, the same message travels through different neighborhoods, greets lunchtime crowds, becomes part of the afternoon rush, and twinkles under the city lights as diners and theatre-goers make their evening plans. This continuous loop means your advertising message is not just seen but witnessed as a part of daily urban life, creating multiple touchpoints with an array of demographic groups.
Culturally Relevant Messaging
The urban setting is a melting pot of cultures, offering a unique opportunity to tailor messages that resonate on a cultural level. Cab advertising excels in delivering culturally relevant messages that speak directly to the diverse urban audience. By understanding and reflecting the urban demographicsâ values, businesses can create meaningful connections that go beyond mere visibility. Whether it's celebrating local festivals, highlighting community achievements, or participating in city-wide events, cab advertising can be a canvas for culturally apt messages.
Real-Time Engagement
The dynamic nature of cab advertising allows for real-time engagement with urban audiences. Whether itâs a QR code inviting direct interaction, a hashtag encouraging social media participation, or a timely promotion coinciding with local events, cab advertising can pivot quickly to match the urban pace. This agility ensures that the message remains relevant and engaging, offering fresh opportunities for connection at every traffic light and cab stand.
The Efficiency Factor
In the dense urban landscape, traditional advertising spaces are often saturated and can be overlooked. Cab advertising, however, cuts through the clutter. Its mobile nature means itâs seen by pedestrians, fellow commuters, and even people from the high-rise buildings, tapping into an audience that stationary billboards and digital screens might miss. Moreover, the cost-effectiveness of cab advertising compared to traditional media buys in high-demand urban areas makes it an attractive option for businesses aiming for maximum reach with efficient budget allocation.
Conclusion
In the bustling urban environment, where the audience is as dynamic as the setting itself, cab advertising offers a compelling avenue to reach diverse demographics effectively. Its mobility, presence in daily urban life, ability to deliver culturally relevant messages, real-time engagement capabilities, and cost-efficiency make it an indispensable tool for businesses. By leveraging cab advertising, brands can ensure that their messages not only travel the lengths and breadths of the city but also penetrate the colorful mosaic of urban demographics, achieving resonance and recall in the crowded marketplace.

The Ultimate Guide to Organizing a Wedding After-Party
Introduction
Congratulations,Wedding Planners, couples, and party organizers! The journey of love doesnât end at the altar; it continues with the celebration of a fabulous wedding after-party. In this ultimate guide, weâll unfold a treasure trove of ideas and tips to help you organize an unforgettable after-party. Letâs dive into the world of Post-wedding festivities and create memories that will last a lifetime.
Choose a location
Choosing a wedding after party venue could be a hassle if it is decided on the last moment. It is essential to have the venue of the after party located in the same location but in a different vicinity as a whole. There are chances that the main venue for reception could be limited to certain sound restrictions and early cut-offs. Therefore, booking a venue in a different vicinity or nearby location is the best option for your wedding guests.
Bonus Tip:Â Consider allotting some cabs or ride share service to your after party guests to make their transportation easy.
Time it right:
After party should not start right after the reception. You need to keep a gap of at least 1-2 hours in order to allow your guests to relocate to the after-party or, the ones with young children can leave the venue before the after party begins.
After-Party Decor and Themes
Make sure to add a pinch of theme and decor that resembles the couple. It needs to be understood that this is your own wedding after party, and it needs a little pinch of âyouâ. It is up to the hosts how they bring about a sense of subtle theme that lightens up the coupleâs mood after a formal reception till they hit the dance floor for the after party.
Delectable Delights:
Satisfy your taste buds with a carefully chosen selection of post-party snacks. Offer a range of options to satisfy everyoneâs cravings, from dessert bars to late-night munchies. For extra flair, provide concepts like a DIY cocktail bar or a food truck station.
Personalised Details
Make sure to add a unique touch to the after-party to make it more memorable. Consider adding the coupleâs names or a special quote to napkins, signs, and even party favours.
Bonus Tip:Â Hold a design competition wherein members of your audience can submit original concepts for customised after-party pieces. The winning design will be showcased at the subsequent event.
Memories Lane: Selected Images and Videos
Engage a pro photographer or film-maker to capture the spirit of the after-party. Invite attendees to upload their photos using a special hashtag on social media to build a shared album of treasured moments.
Bonus Tip: Hold a photo competition where attendees may enter to win a unique reward by submitting pictures of their best moments from the after-party.
Add in the food and beverages
When it comes to the after-party, food and beverages are often included in the package. Food serves a practical purpose by providing energy for all the dancing that is going to happen and buffering the booze that visitors have already had and will continue to consume. Food that is casual and perfect for late-night snacking, such as pizza, fries, sliders, and chicken fingers, are always crowd favourites. Spread out a selection of chips and dips to help sop up the alcohol as a less expensive choice. Inform guests in advance so they may arrive prepared if youâve opted not to pay the after-party bar tab.
Entertainment, Entertainment and Entertainment
Keep the energy going up with sensational entertainment options. Consider hiring a live band, DJ, or maybe a surprise performances that can align with the coupleâs tastes.
Bonus Tip:Â Create a playlist collaboration where your audience can contribute their favourite dance floor hits for the ultimate after-party playlist.
Comfort and Relaxation Zones
Establish warm nooks where visitors can rest and refresh throughout the celebrations. Not to forget, provide cosy spots to sit, maybe furnished with pillows and blankets, so that guests may take a break from dancing and have private discussions.
Bonus Tip:Â To make sure your after-party suits the comfort preferences of most guests, poll them to find out which characteristics they find most relaxing.
Sustainable Celebrations
Use sustainable measures to make the after-party environment friendly. Minimise the single-use plastics, choose local and organic food options, and decorate with biodegradable materials.
Bonus Tip: Provide suggestions for Eco-Friendly parties and inspire your Audience to commit to Eco-Friendly practices after the party.
As you Embark on the Journey of Organizing a Wedding After-Party, remember that the key is to infuse it with the coupleâs unique love story. By incorporating these interactive and simple ideas, youâll not only create an unforgettable celebration but also ensure that every moment is a reflection of the joy and happiness that fills the air. Cheers to love, laughter, and the magic of after-party memories!

Now that I have had time to think and hashtag reflect, the most infuriating part of the whole ny adventure was nothing involving the airline's refusal to help me with accommodations or food until my flight the next day (shout-out to the customer service rep, bb you did everything you could. I hate your manager) but was in fact, stepping out of the venue Wednesday night and seeing all the scammer pedi cabs lined up and playing That Part of The Summoning over and over and over again...it was like walking into the wrong side of booktok come to life. I was so mad I could have started spitting. Now I know what gatekeeping is for.
#my anger was a little bit funny but in my defense...i like this band a normal amount đŠľ#i promise I'll shut up about my ill fated adventure eventually but also in my defense that concert was everything to me.
