18+ (suggestive), drabble (577 words), reader wears panties
Zhongli who occasionally "charms" your boss down at the docks early in the morning while you're still sound asleep among his silk sheets – buttering him up with (real) promises to put him in touch with Hu Tao for future sponsorship opportunities, as well as praising his assortment of baked goods (often purchasing some in bulk) – all to finish his little quest by off-handedly mentioning that you're feeling a tad "under the weather".
Your boss is quick to reassure him that you can take the day off and pick up a shift another day to make up for it, none the wiser to the smug grin that curls at Zhongli's lips before he hastily parts ways to return to you.
On the other hand, you know exactly what sort of day awaits you when you feel your boyfriend shuffling underneath the many blankets, hands eagerly reaching for you as he drags you close to his warm embrace.
"Zhongli..." you warn, more like whine, through your half-awaken daze, "where were you?"
A rhetorical question, really. Both of you are well aware of his shenanigans, but he provides his usual answer nonetheless, "I was merely going for an early morning stroll, dear, but coincidentally I happened to saunter right past your boss-"
"-and blah, blah, blah, he gave me the day off...right?" You're wide awake now, eyes no longer bleary as you shoot him a pointed look.
But, surprising to absolutely no one, he's entirely unphased, "Precisely."
"You're unbelievable," you scoff, but find your resolve crumbling (as usual) as he lets his golden fingertips drag along your jaw, "you could just ask me to spend the day with you, or we could plan a day together when I'm already off from work."
Zhongli continues to make his argument, eyes half-lidded as he watches his thumb press at your bottom lip, "I once read in a novel that one of the many essences of mortal pleasures is spontaneity."
“One of many mortal pleasures?” You reiterate, allowing yourself to fall for his little game once and for all.
He lets out a soft hum in acknowledgement, shuffling the two of you until you’re pliantly beneath his larger frame. You appear ethereal before him; his button down that you adorn poorly attempting to cover your chest, your flimsy panties digging into the plush of your hips, the cor lapis necklace that he forged for you glimmering oh so beautifully against the morning sun's rays. Zhongli doesn’t think he could be more in love, that in all the years he has walked upon this soil he has never felt such a way for any single living being.
But now is not the time for such strong declarations of his utter devotion to you, he chuckles to himself, swiftly falling back into this “little game” of his with practiced ease, “Yes, many, would you care to explore these other mortal pleasures? It would be my honor to demonstrate for you, dearest.”
You’re quick to nod your head, keeping another bout of laughter from Zhongli at bay as you lean up and smack your lips onto his. Sure, eventually you’re going to have to convince this man to learn how to properly plan days for the two of you to share together that don't involve his scheming, but it’s really difficult to complain when he goes through all that effort just to spend the morning with his head eagerly between your thighs…among other things.

The Stars Do Not Bind Us | Writing Update
I hate outlining, but recently I've been tearing apart The Stars Do Not Bind Us and now I have vaguely outlined 3k words what is happening. AND I STILL HAVEN'T REACHED THE END. The plot actually has a vague plot now. Character concepts have changed. Just discovered some more things I need to figure out. I've also gutted quite a few of the original concepts of the story and?????? I still have no idea about the ending.

The Party (Mash-Up Story 2)
Characters: Creators
Frederique: @maxgraybooks Kyler: @writingonesdreams Osric: @abalonetea Zazu: @vermontwrites Niko: @lordkingsmith Syvil: @kryskakikomi
Words: 1,482
The party was loud and boisterous… but exciting and exhilarating.
Everyone there was laughing and carrying on and just as Frederique came crashing into the building, he threw his hands up and yelled out (not that anyone could hear him over the music), “I’m here, everyone! The party can officially start!”
Some people nearby had seen him throw his hands up in the corner of their eyes and glanced over to see what the weirdo was doing but by the time they looked over, he was already wandering into the building to see who he should chat up first.
Meanwhile, Osric was already inside, chatting with some people by the snack bar, food in hand and giggling profusely. He was obviously already having a good time and was so glad he decided to come. This place was amazing! The lights twinkled overhead like stars in the night sky.
Everything was loud but exciting and it made him more excited to be here.
Frederique was making his way to the snack bar when he saw the familiar guy from the bar and walked up to him.
“You came!” His tone was excited as his eyes sparkled happily at seeing his new acquaintance… his hopeful future friend. He grinned at him and patted his shoulder. “I’m glad to see you here!”
Osric was beaming.
“Of course I came!” He said, cheeks starting to get sore from smiling so much that night. “Th-this has b-been fun! Th-thanks for th-the invite.”
Fredrique couldn’t help but to grin at that. “Of course, man. Let’s get a snack and dance!” Osric’s cheeks turned pink but, grateful for the invite, couldn’t say no.
Just as they grabbed their food and prepared to go dance, a looming character came into view. The other guy from the bar - the one that had turned his invitation down.
“Hey, it’s you!” Fredrique called, hurrying up to the guy. “You came! How did you know where this place was?”
Kyler glanced at the man and bit off a sigh. It was the loud guy from the bar.
“Oh, it’s you,” he said simply, grabbing a snack and then turning to watch everyone dancing and laughing and chatting. He longed to be holding conversation with someone, but the only person that was really approaching him to speak with him was someone that… as nice as he was, he could be a bit much.
“Come dance with us!” Frederique offered, extending a hand. “We can have a threesome dance crew!” He looked way too pleased with himself once the words were out.
Kyler said nothing at first. But just as he was about to open his mouth to speak, some guy ran into him, knocking his food to the floor.
“My apologies. Allow me to assist you,” the guy said, bending down to pick up the food and then glancing up at Kyler as he threw the food dropped away and grabbed him another. “I apologize for being so inattentive.”
The smallest smile cracked on Kyler’s face as he accepted the food and took a bite.
“No need to apologize. It wasn’t like it was deliberate.” Something sparked in the man’s eyes. Curiosity? Something… and Kyler shifted ever so slightly.
“Allow me to introduce myself. People call me Zazu,” he said, extending a hand to shake, which Kyler accepted.
“Kyler,” he returned with a polite smile.
“Nice to meet your acquaintance.” Zazu offered a returned smile and then turned to the snack bar to grab a snack of his own. While he turned around, Kyler was snatched by Frederique and Osric and dragged toward the dance floor.
“Hey, I never accepted your invitation to dance,” he said, clearly a little annoyed to be touched and forced to do something by complete strangers. “Unhand me!”
Osric quickly dropped his arm but Frederique had a grin on his face.
“Oh, come on, Kyler! We can get that guy jealous and all revved up.” Kyler’s eyes widened ever so slightly as he pulled his arm out of Frederique’s grip and backed up a couple of steps.
“Excuse me?”
“You know… you obviously think he’s attractive.” Kyler’s face and neck turned a little pink as he realized what he was saying and he took another step back, accidentally bumping into a dancing couple.
“Who gave you the right to assume such things?” The words were barely audible but it was clear the message behind them and suddenly Frederique was beginning to think maybe he had done something wrong.
“But-”
“Leave me be,” Kyler said quickly and turned to leave.
Damn it, Frederique had liked this strange man and now it seemed he had crossed a line he couldn’t take back.
He glanced at Osric, who shrugged, not really knowing what they should do. He bit his lip and glanced back at Kyler’s back just in time to see it disappear into the crowd. Then he turned back to Osric.
“Come on… let’s not let it ruin our night.” He smiled his usual grin and took his hand to drag him further into the dance floor and they danced and danced.
–
Zazu was still standing at the food bar when Kyler, still red and upset, started to walk past. He watched him quietly before electing to see what had happened.
He followed him outside and cleared his throat.
“Hey, you okay?” He asked, not really wanting to push things but feeling like something happened back there. After all, a politician must seem approachable or else people won’t vote for him, right? “Want a piece of cake?”
Kyler froze and turned to stare at him quietly.
“I’m fine,” he said after a bit. “Just gonna go back to my hotel.” Zazu studied him for a second before responding.
“You should stay. I won’t bombard you the way that guy did but…” he shrugged, making it clear he had no intention of finishing the statement.
Kyler studied his eyes for the sincerity that was clear in them before burying his hands deep into his pockets.
“Sure… why not.” The slightest smile broke out on his face while Zazu led the way back into the building, passing a couple of guys, one of which was smoking and begin dragged toward the party building.
–
A young man was being dragged into a party by someone he’d only known a short amount of time.
“I really don’t like parties,” he protested.
“Neither do I but my daughter insists I need more of a life,” the second man said simply. “Come on, we won’t be here long.”
The two made their way inside, and as soon as they heard the music, their noses wrinkled in distaste.
“Hey, let’s go somewhere else,” the first man offered, looking around the building. “This place is loud and there are too many people.”
The well-dressed redhead could not deny that his new acquaintance was… well, not wrong about those observations.
“Yes. Let’s get milkshakes.” Honestly, he had the cherry they always put on top in mind when he made the suggestion. “I wonder if we can request an extra cherry…”
The smoking blonde put out his cigarette only to light another.
“Hmm, alright. I guess as long as we don’t have to stay here.” Just as the bouncer for the party was about to come tell him to put out his cigarette, they made their way back outdoors.
“You know where a good milkshake place is around here?”
The redhead pulled his phone out and googled milkshake places in the area and chose one. “We’ll go here,” he said, quick to decide and then pocketing his phone once more. “We’ll call a cab.”
“I’d rather not…” Niko frowned but shrugged.
“Okay, what would you rather do?”
“I drove. Just come with me.”
“Alright.” The two piled into Syvil’s car and drove off in silence. Not even the radio played as they drove to a nearby parlor and walked in for milkshakes.
As they sat to eat, they both remained quiet. Simply eating together was enough. It wasn’t as though the two were trying to become best friends. After all, Niko had his best friends - his daughter and his twin. He didn’t need any more. And Syvil felt pretty similarly. He didn’t need a whole bunch of friends to feel completely or satisfied with his existence.
However, even with that thought, he couldn’t help the way his eyes drifted down to Niko’s arms, imagining what kind of hugs he’d give. He bet he would be a great hugger.
A light blush colored his cheeks, which he quickly hid by taking a long drink of his milkshake until it went away.
Niko did notice this and lifted an eyebrow but said nothing.
Finally, they finished their shakes and left together. Once more driving in silence, Syvil dropped Niko off and then went home.
And that was the last time they saw each other.
END.

ok hi it’s pris im on mobile right now but i demand a charles scene where he’s out an about with no supervision BYE <3
hi @serpentarii!!! [ was sorely tempted to just write the “do you know how to walk on your knees” scene from BBC Merlin 1.01 but I guess not :pensive:
“Hey, Gwyn, is 10 sovereigns enough to buy us some of those sweetmeats over there— oh fuck.” Charles vi Aetier, currently under disguise as the handsome, worldly, and definitely-a-peasant-and-not-the-royal-prince-sneaking-out , turned his head to find Gwyn—his reluctant yet very much insistent supervisor on this excursion—gone.
He cupped his hands around his mouth. “Gwyn? Gwyn!” He called, but in the busy streets of East Vindercrest, where the streets were infused with the sounds of merchants calling out their wares, of street musicians, of children playing, his voice was drowned out. A drop in an ocean of sound. It was fascinating.
“I might as well enjoy this.” Charles had always intended to go on this trip alone, after all, and he’s sure that this felix culpa was a sign from Vithail, the god of fates, themselves. And if Charles was anything, he was very pious.
“Well,” he grinned. “What’s the worse that can happen?”
This was not in Gwyn’s job description. At. All. Four hours after he managed to lose his highness, the heir-to-the-fucking-throne, and had to spend his well earned-day off running haggard around East Vindercrest like a headless chicken, Gwyn was sorely tempted to just give up. Unfortunately the thread of the dungeons— or gods forbid, being sacked— prevented him from doing just that.
He raked his hands through his hair and muttered a plea to the Trinity to end his suffering.
“Lose something? Gwyn looked up to see a tall, dark-haired man. A man with prince Charles’ arm slung over his shoulder. Prince Charles who looked pissed drunk— and were those bruises? Gods give him strength.
“Oh thank you, I swear I’d been looking for him everywhere.” Gwyn quickly took his highness off the stranger’s hands, assessing him for any other injuries.“What happened to him?”
“Well,” the stranger said, hands resting on his hips, “I don’t know the details but it seemed that his frivolous spending attracted a lot of unsavory attention.”
“What?”
“He probably overpaid and spent money like his purse was a never-ending fountain. But then again, he is the prince, so it’s to be expected I guess.”
Gwyn gaped. “How did you know he was—”
“You just confirmed it.” Gwyn blanched and the stranger laughed, waving away Gwyn’s paranoia. “Really, it wasn’t all that hard to put two and two together— especially with eyes like his.” He extended his hand. “Name’s Sola Eidos. I make it my business to know things.”
“Right.” Gwyn shook his hand. “Um, how did his highness get the bruises?”
“Somehow he found his way into one of the seedier taverns and kept being goaded onto buying everyone rounds—”
“I take it you were one of the ones goading him.”
“—which was fine and all, until it came time to pay. He might have gotten robbed while he was rousing everyone into a hearty shanty, I wasn’t really paying attention at the time, but long story short, it ended with him in the middle of a bar fight and I having to heroically save him and drag him out.”
Ok, so now no one can definitely know about today. Gwyn gently set the prince down to the ground and leaned him against a wall of some sort of establishment (honestly Gwyn just really didn’t want to know) and set to work healing the bruises on his face. He spared a glance at the stranger— Sola. “Thank you. You really, honestly, didn’t have to do any of this.”
“It’s no trouble.” Sola grinned.“It just means I’ll have great fun recounting to my lady how prince Charles moped challenged a chair for tripping him when he was trying to get down on his knees and propose to the first pretty girl that lent him a shoulder to cry on.”
“What.”
Sola shook his head and bid his leave. “Want my advice, kid? Your prince is an absolute lightweight and you should never let him near anything stronger than wine.”
“No— wait— what was that about a proposal?”
“Don’t worry about that,” Sola called out from over his shoulder. “The girl’s already in a happy relationship with a baker’s daughter. Just get the poor sap home.”
“Come back! Please!”
Charles suddenly doubled over and vomited on Gwyn’s lap.
Gwyn was so not paid enough for this.

desert daydream
here, the sun barks. Spits. ties you down, sparks leaping off the branding iron. as to a bad beloved dog, we don't act: no willpower left to cower in the corner of buildings, no imagination strong enough to imagine a punishment worse than staying inside all day. sometimes, in late winter, we even feel close to her: the sun snuggling into your side while you walk, keeping you company when you read in early evening. no one can bring themselves to put a good dog down, no matter how hard she bites.
