team captains, your role is to collaborate with your team to pick a team color, decide if your team wants to wear a uniform and ensure that each team member is sorted into a game of their choosing that you will turn into us. if a player does not reach out to you, it’s encouraged that you randomize them into a game of your choice. please note, we want to avoid anyone complaining about not getting the game they wanted simply because they didn’t make the effort to communicate.

this isn’t middle school dodgeball—everyone will compete, but you must take the first step to reach out. these games are all about encouraging people to interact, connect, and engage with others on the dash. don't be a debbie downer! if you’re not feeling it, it’s okay to sit this event out! just reach out to your coach or us via dms. this is meant to encourage writing, fun, and camaraderie—do not make anyone feel bad for having fun with this. anyone who brings negativity or disrupts the experience for others will be removed from the group, as we don't want toxic behavior in any event that’s meant to encourage camaraderie and writing.

full transparency: coaches are required to submit all roster and game details by march 16th at 9pm cst. this will give us time to organize everything and prepare the posts. we’ll also have a post closer to the event asking if you’d like your character to have some drama or something fun and silly during the games — so keep an eye out for that! all characters accepted into the group from now on will be evenly distributed into each group.

get ready for the ultimate winter field day extravaganza, collision games winter edition, taking place on march 22nd-23rd in whistler bc, canada! this year, we’re switching things up with randomized teams, making the competition even more exciting and unpredictable. unlike last time, there will be no wwe or aew teams—everyone will get the chance to work together and show their skills. coaches have been chosen based on their experience from last year, but now, everyone will have the opportunity to be a coach for the summer games. coaches and games will be announced tomorrow, giving everyone a chance to sign up for their preferred game. get ready for an unforgettable weekend full of excitement and surprises!

we’ve got 70+ members and 80 roles spread across 7 exciting games! this means you’re welcome to compete in multiple events — feel free to join as many as you’d like! coaches, don’t forget to sign up for games too! we want you to be as involved as the rest of the group. we’ll be posting the full schedule, order of events, and other details soon, so keep an eye out for that. in the meantime, start reaching out and planning which games you want to join! we’re excited to see all the fun and creativity this event brings!

frostbite commands. frostbite commands is a fast-paced, simon says-style game where two teams of 6 players each compete head-to-head. the “commander,” special guest, pat mcafee, will call out a series of winter-themed commands, like “freeze” (stand still), “snowstorm” (jump in place), or “blizzard” (spin around). if the commander says the command without adding “frostbite” in front, players must not do it. if they do, they’re out. the game continues until only one player remains from each team, leading to a final head-to-head showdown between the last two players. the last person standing wins and their team takes the victory! it’s all about staying alert, listening closely and reacting quickly to avoid being eliminated!

the great penguin heist. the great penguin heist is a thrilling and chaotic game where each team will have 6 players at a time, including 1-2 defenders. the remaining players will focus on sneaking over to other teams' nests to steal penguins and bring them back to their side. defenders will protect their own nest and prevent the opposing team from stealing their penguins. if a player is tagged, they must freeze for 5 seconds before continuing. there’s an added twist: the golden penguin is worth more points than regular penguins, making it a high-risk, high-reward target to grab from another team's nest. the team with the most points when time runs out wins—so strategy, stealth, and teamwork are key!

snowball royale. snowball royale is a fast-paced, action-packed game where two teams of 8 players compete in a snowy battlefield. players are dressed in all white and armed with snowballs drenched in their team colors. the field is filled with targets and obstacles to hide behind and every 3 minutes, the “snowstorm” shrinks the playing area, marked by referees. if you’re hit by a snowball, you’re OUT, but you can be revived once if a teammate makes a snow angel next to you. if no one revives you within 30 seconds, you’re out for the rest of the round. the game is played in 2 rounds with teams rotating players if they choose, giving everyone a chance to get in on the action. the first team to eliminate all the opposing players in a round wins and the team that wins the most rounds takes the victory!

glacial gauntlet. the glacial gauntlet is a high-stakes team relay where each round gets harder and colder. each team will have 4 players, with 2 players competing at a time before tagging in the next duo. the relay consists of four grueling winter challenges: in round 1, players race up a snow hill; in round 2, they must carry one single frozen chicken nugget across a slippery path using only open palms—no fingers allowed to grip it, just balance and precision; in round 3, players crawl through a snow tunnel; and in round 4, they must balance a snow crown (snow on a plate) while running to the finish. once both players complete their leg of the course, they tag the next pair to go. the first team to get all players across the finish line wins, with teamwork, balance and sheer chaos the keys to victory!

the great mitten hunt. the great mitten hunt is a frantic and fun indoor search game where 4 players per team work together to find matching pairs of mittens hidden within one massive pile of winter clothes. the mittens are scattered all over the pile, and some don’t have a match at all! teams must dig through the pile, communicate, and strategize to find and collect three matching pairs. players take turns diving into the pile, helping each other out, and keeping track of what they've already found. the first team to gather three matching pairs wins! it’s all about teamwork, speed, and staying organized while digging through the chaos to uncover the right pairs in this fast-paced mitten hunt.

frosty tug o’ war. frosty tug o’war is a fun and competitive winter twist on the classic tug-of-war game. 6 players per team will face off in a thrilling battle of strength, teamwork, and strategy, pulling on opposite ends of a rope in an attempt to drag the other team across a designated line or marker. the twist? the playing area is covered in snow, making it slippery and more challenging to maintain your footing. teams must work together, using synchronized pulls to overpower the other side, all while trying to stay balanced on the icy ground. the first team to pull the other team past the line wins! it’s a test of strength, coordination and teamwork in this frosty, high-energy showdown.

blizzard bounty. blizzard bounty is an exciting and fast-paced scavenger hunt where teams race against the clock to uncover hidden winter-themed treasures. 6 players per team will work together to solve clues, navigate the environment and find objects. each team will receive a list of items to find, but there’s a twist: some of the items are easy to spot, while others require solving riddles or completing small challenges before they can be found. once a team finds an item, they must bring it back to the starting point and check off the list. the team that collects all their items first wins! it’s all about teamwork, quick thinking, and using creativity to solve clues and gather the hidden objects.
