This is her beach/swimsuit, she loves to be in the water and smell the salt in the air. She was a pirate for years and a rogue in Limsa before that, it never really goes away.

There's nothing like a skintight bit of leather and lace, thighhigh boots and a flash of bright red to make her feel powerful and sexy.

She likes to wear strappy things and tease whenever she can, probably a side effect of having the Succubus Queen in her head for so long...

Miqo March Day 2 - Sprout

Sunny has been around since I first started playing the game back in November of 2016. She's been here since I was a sprout, playing WHM for the first several years of my gaming experience (I didn't touch a DPS until DNC dropped!) Even if I don't play her as often, she always has a soft spot in my heart and I usually level her before anyone else when new content drops.

Orchid - What is your OC's biggest fear?

Lett's fear has changed as she's aged.

When she was small, in Voeburt, she was raised to fear the fae, especially the Fuath, who could appear in even a puddle of water.

In Eulmore, after the flood, her biggest fear was losing those she loved to Sin Eaters again. She'd lost her parents to one when she was little and she was desperate to not lose anyone again. It drove her to higher heights of martial ability, to keep those people safe.

And now, her biggest fear is for Shio. She's terrified of her sweet love taking too much on and, gods forbid, dying somehow. She's watched pressure after pressure piled on and does her best to alleviate it and keep Shio safe when she can, even to the point of making an offering to the fae she was raised to fear.

Snapdragon - What is your OC's most used phrase?

Sunny's most used phrase...hmmm.

I would have to say she probably doesn't have a specific phrase she uses, but she does tend to slip into the Thieves Cant (she was a rogue first and then a pirate for a while in the period of about 15 years (13-28~) when there's any sort of high emotions running through her. Frustration, excitement, anger, etc.

Sinking into the ocean

Turning over in her sleep, a redheaded miqo'te shifts and moans softly.

Her movements become more violent, her slumber still deep, the dream, the memory dragging her under as it always does. The sheets tangle around her, her aether flashing through the room in her distress.

Stuck in her dream, she relives that stormy night over again.

Gazing out over the deck, the First Mate of the Nymeia's Gale frowns, her eyes flicking to the sky. The wind picks up, making her stand and hurry to the crow's nest to get a better view.

In the dark gloom of the night, she closes her eyes, trying to get a feel for the aether around her before her eyes fly open. Nearly jumping from the top mast, she slides rapidly down the rope, rushing to the Captain's quarters. He'd gone to bed, knowing she'd wake him if something happened during her watch.

Pounding the door, she slams it open, her heart pounding in her throat. "Ij, issa bad 'un, we need ta move or the reef'll get us."

Jolting out of bed, he quickly puts his peg leg on and rushes topside, barely stopping to tug on a pair of breeches, leaving her to wake the rest of the crew. Hurrying through the ship, she shakes and shouts everyone up, knowing they'd need all hands to survive this.

Ten minutes later the first massive wave hits the deck, shoving them towards the shoals. She hears the crew shouting to one another, following their Captain's orders, heaving the ropes, trying to pull up the anchor as fast as possible before it tears them apart.

Another ten minutes, the first scraping of wood on coral makes them all flinch and fight like demons to move away. She swears she hears more than one prayer to any of the gods who will listen.

Twenty minutes later, three of the crew are tossed overboard, immediately disappearing into the thrashing waves. Her heart breaks and she nearly jumps after them to try to help, but is ordered back by her Captain.

Another fifteen minutes and she hears cracking and then is tossed overboard herself. The last thing she hears before her consciousness fades is Ij'ahn screaming her name against the howling of the wind.

When she wakes next, she's on the shore, miraculously alive and uninjured.

Staring out towards the reef, she can barely see the tip of the mast, banging repeatedly against the unforgiving shoals. Rising as fast as she can, she spends the next week scouring the beaches.

Three. That is all of the crew that survived. C'Sunmyn, P'Tehjah, Y'Pherin. Three of thirty.

Over the course of the week, the three manage to recover the bodies of the rest of their crewmates, their family.

Painstakingly, they dig each grave, carefully, lovingly. They put their friends, their family to rest overlooking the ocean they so loved, and then without speaking, went separate directions.

Sunny wakes with tears on her face, her hair soaked and sorrow heavy on her heart, staring at the ocean out her window, still lost in sinking under the waves.
