Thinking about April, the boy whose parents treated him like a dog, who vocally told him that he would die before he was ten. The teenager who was coerced into sex because he believed he would finally be loved if he did. The young man who ran away and never stopped running. Who flinches at the thought of someone treating him gently. Who looked to Ari as a father figure because he was mean to him, and that was familiar. Who freaked out when Ari changed, and apologised, and was kind to him. Who cried because someone liked him. Who is furiously protective of small creatures. Who couldn't take his own child because he was too scared he would screw her up. Who still thinks he's a teenager in his early twenties. Who can't handle being loved. Who self destructs the second someone asks him if he's okay. Who has never known love, so much so, that when it occurs, he sees it as a threat.

"Oh, gosh. Sorry," April said, taking Isla's hand for a moment. She squeeed it, a sign she needed to be quiet, "She's just excited when she sees dogs," she explained, gesturing to the canine outside.

💈April probably hasn't worn one in general, but I don't see him being averse to it, it's definitely something he would enjoy. 💃Yes, he's definitely okay with that, and I think Ember would ask for one in a playful sort of way. He can be very demanding when he wants to be. 📅 No, April can hardly go more than two days. 🚲He's not picky, for sure, but he does have certain standards that people have to meet. What those standards are, are a mystery to anyone but April. 🤐 Not really. He has some kinks he wouldn't tell everyone about, but he's very open about his likes and dislikes in bed.
