@brent-moore
Indigo was fidgeting with her phone as she sat in the waiting room for Brent to call her. She had missed a few of her recent sessions and she wondered what he thought about it. She couldn’t forget the way that his lips had felt on hers, even though she knew if she tried anything again that he would refuse to treat her anymore and she couldn’t stand the idea of not seeing him. Hearing the door open, she looked up, giving him a small smile before crossing the room to his office.

"Drew what is your favorite place to shop? What is the last thing you bought?"
“I would say Chanel or Dior always find something nice. I found this little place in New York that sell some of the best things still not well know but fantastic.” Holds out the bag held in her hand “A new watch for my husband?”

[This letter is left on Brent's things where they all were staying.] (( brentvale ))
Dear Brenny Brent,
Okay so maybe you figured it out or Wyatt and Nadia told you or maybe you’re the first one to read your letter. Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah. I’m leaving camp. Not forever, just for a little while. So just in case I don’t get the chance to tell you, I want to make sure you know. So don’t worry aout me I’ll be fine, probably worrying about you and the others to be honest. i’ll keep in touch, I promise. I’ll come back with cookies and a new stash of skittles. I promise. Text me and I’ll see you probably after I turn 16. I just need a break from everything, I think we all do. I just want my mom right now.
Love ya, Avery
P.S. If you see Ares, you should totes punch him in the face for me.

It was all too much for her now.
A thief along with everything else that was going on it just seemed like the fates were going into overdrive to remind her that she was never safe no matter what time she was in. She knew Bashir would always love and protect her but she also knew that he would die protecting her in this time and all the other times. Checking on her maid she soon found Bashir again and listened to his suggestion. “You do know my mother has never helped me a day in my life...fine fine I will ask for permission.” She said knowing that he was right, his plan was better than doing nothing and he had that determined look in his eye that told her she would not be getting her wha today.
Aya went to the pharaoh to ask for permission on leave to go to prayers. He was at first apprehensive about letting her go considering the break in that had just happened but Aya was persuasive even without her charmspeak to back her up. She spoke of his wisdom and said she wished to pray for his longevity, wisdom and for their kingdom to thrive and for the Gods to send her a good husband to rule alongside her. The last part made her skin crawl because she knew the gods were going g to send her a husband who was greedy and evil and would stalk her in this life and the next. The pharaoh seemed that his daughter was so thoughtful and kind, she also assured him that her own guard would be on hand to protect her and though he seemed to be dubious about letting her go without a few of his own guards he let her go.
Taking her leave Aya got changed taking the scroll with the family tree on it hiding as not to arouse suspicion and met with Bashir acting perfectly normal thought her stomach was in knots “Do you think this will work? I mean up until now our parents have been quiet in the way of helping us with this problem. Do you think they will even hear us in this time considering we aren’t their children in this time? Oh Gods…it’s not a dream.”
Covering her head from the glaring heat from the sun Aya looked around taking in everything, it was more beautiful than she could ever remember. Her dreams of this time were always so hazy and even though she looked it up online and in books she could never really seem to capture the sheer magnificent Architecture or just how the hues blended in perfectly. For the first time since she had woken up in Egypt was happy, she could smell and touch everything here, looking at Bashir she couldn’t help but smile tension flowing out of her body the reason she had been worried escaping her for just a moment “Bashir it is beautiful isn’t it?”

drew-a-tanaka:
The name almost had her hypnotised as she tried to think about why it seemed so important to her that she didn’t hear Brent come in. Drew almost jumped out of skin as strong hands touched her skin. Placing her palm to her rapidly beating heart she took a breath and tried to calm down. “Gods in heaven you scared me.” She said a little quiver in her voice, it made no sense why it had frightened her so much. Maybe it was because she knew now what she hadn’t known in her previous life that her life was in serious danger. Not from random men trying to kidnappers who wanted her father to yield to their wills but from a crazy deranged prince who had powers she couldn’t fathom. The unknown scared her and people who died should have stayed dead…should she still be dead was that it? The unsettling feeling in her gut was telling her that if she died this time the chances of her having another lifetime or any of her timelines would be wiped out.
Standing drew wrapped her arms around Brent needing a little of his courage as hers seemed to seep away from her as they spent more time in this time that was their beginning but not the one they truly knew. Looking to her bed she picked up the scroll again and showed it to him “It is a family tree of all the most important families in Egypt I am on here somewhere I think.” She tried to smile but her mouth just couldn’t form the motion. Holding it so he could also see it Drew pointed to the family that had given her the creeps especially one name that stood out to her “Do you recognise this name? I feel like I know it but my brain is drawing a blank on it. It…” she shuddered looking down at her feet trying to swallow down the fear that wanted to rise up like a pot of water spilling over the side. Drew took a breath leaning onto her warrior again the feelings from years ago flooding back again “It is a name that makes me feel uneasy.”
He did not blame her for being startled, for this was all astonishing and unforeseen for him as well. The worry was there in him as well, that if he failed to protect her, or if he gets killed himself, then it won’t affect one lifetime, but the next four they venture into. Somehow they were brought back in time but their memories were intact- so was this their second chance? And if so, a second chance for what? It frustrated him, because it took a hell of a lot of effort to kill the evil prince the first time.
Bringing his attention the scroll, he was easily able to find Aya, but then felt the same dread she felt upon the name written in heiroglyphics. For some reason and in some manner or another, Brent was able to know how to decipher these ancient symbols. In this lifetime it was obvious, because they knew no other language nor writing styles. But the next one he was drawn to it, and learned it before he ventured out, in search of Aya, his Drew, even if she was on the opposite side of the world.
“Prince Lapis,” he spoke out loud, and he felt dirty saying it- as if the name itself was a curse word. “It’s coming back to me- remember when you were pregnant with Ayat, our first born, we were still on the run? He’s unfortunately still alive in this lifetime, or perhaps… he has some minions. I know for sure we vanquished him, but if he wasn’t working alone, then who knows how many people are helping him?!”
He held her close to him when feeling her lean over, also needing her touch of reassurance or else he would have heightened anxiety. “We will figure this out- it will be…”
A scream.
Bashir shifted away from Princess Aya slowly, heading to the sudden echoing screams in the hallway. Clad in his leather armor, he used his instincts to take the short sword that was tucked away in the sheath, then aim at the perpetrator. A lowly thief, it seems, had managed to bother the servant girls. He threw with great precision, making it apparent that he was a rather trained warrior.
Once the wounded prisoner was being taken away, Bashir went back to his quarters, realizing that he was skillful even as a mere human in this life. Once Aya was around, he started to speak.
“I remember in this life, I worshiped the Goddess Bast. Who would know one lifetime, I would be her own son, and gifted all the powers? You have a connection with Aphrodite, and the Greeks who trade with us created a Temple of Aphrodite here, modeled after the one at Acropolis, Greece. I say we should take the blessings of our goddesses before we venture into what the Fates have stored for us. Tell the Pharaoh you wish to go to the temples, and I will be your bodyguard.”

“But you deserve everything, you deserve the world and I want to give you that maybe that is stupid of me but you are so giving you are owed more than your fair share of happiness.” Looking into his dark eyes she remembered the one hundred reasons why he was her everything. When things got hard she had always run starting somewhere new Gods knew she could have afforded it but Brent always calmed something in her even when things were tough he was always the strong one. “Ok, ok no more worrying about anything just enjoying what we have.”
Standing on her tiptoes Drew kissed Brent making her intentions of the nights known, he was being the sweetest thing on Gaea psychotic grassy face and going to bed was the last thing on her mind unless it was breaking it with the help of Brent of course. Arms on his shoulders she whispered in his ear lips brushing against the lobe “As nice as that sounds I would rather do other things with you between our sheets that might include fluffy ears, a tail and collar but if you are truly tired I can dress up on my own but I would rather have company.”
Nipping at his ear with a tiny glint in her eyes the daughter of Aphrodite shrugged her shoulders and walked in the direction of their bedroom only looking over her shoulder once at him.
Toddler Ayat
drew-a-tanaka:
Eyes drifted down to Ayat who was feeding one of her dolls and she understood. Last thing they needed was the little one telling everyone mummy and daddy were talking about kids. She was already being asked about having more but always laughed it off telling them the day would come but they weren’t ready.
After kissing Ayat goodnight and leaving Brent to put her down Drew continued the task of picking up toys and putting away books. Looking at the wall she looked at their wedding photo and it made her smile, Brent looked so handsome and she was smiling truly smiling something she never thought would happen. Little did either of them know that Ayat would be born soon after, no one more shocked than she had been having decided their lives on the run would be no way to start a family.
Turning to her husband Drew listened to what he had to say and she did agree with him despite everything they had ever gone through Ayat was truly a blessing, she would have done it all over again to have that little girl in her life all over again “Our wedding, Ayat and you are the best things that ever happened in my life and it wasn’t planned. I never expected this life for myself but I do want more and I want it with you.” Walking over to Brent Drew wrapped her arms around him her face on his chest his scent calming her but also making her tense “ Warrior what if we start planning and nothing happens? What if Ayat is the only child we have? Will you be ok with that and the life we have now?”
@ribbedxgloves
Brent listened fondly to what Drew had to say. He quire liked it when Drew was in the mood to talk, because she would go on and on and it was like listening to a podcast but the topic was interesting. Now they were talking about their lives and their past and future. He recalled the beauty that was their simple wedding. He held her hand as both were wearing the same wedding bands, with a very last-minute inscription written inside, ‘from one lifetime to another we will never truly depart from each other.’
“Look, I will be more than okay, Drew. I learned that in life, a lot of things happen for a reason and if I had the chance to do it all over again well, I don’t think I’ll change anything. Whatever happened led us to be what we are today. Ayat is a blessing and any future children we have are just added blessings, and if we don’t have more children then I am sure that we will have blessings in other forms,” he reassured, tilting her chin up and looking down at her soulful eyes. “My Aya. Our days of worrying are behind us, now. Are you feeling sleepy right now? I’ve gotten really good at tucking babies in, I can do the same with you.”

This had to go perfect.
The tense Drew was back and her temper seemed to have doubled in the last couple of days, along wit this nature came her dragon side which meant everyone was on her shit list and snapping at people was like her native tongue.
This had been playing on her mind for awhile now and there was never going to be a great time not with the lives they lived...all four of them which while romantic in some aspects tended to mess with how they lived and now things had calmed a little and Ayat was a little older it was time for things to become as normal as it could be considering who their parents were and the lives they had now, she could see their future Brent working with artifacts getting the position he wanted in his job and she eventually starting up her own company selling her designs. Moving to a bigger place with children and laughter everything her life had been missing up until now. Ayat was safely being looked after by her uncle who was teacher her black jack when she had left just so they could get their night together,
Looking at her handy work she smiled happily, rose petals trailed from the front door to their bedroom, she had thrown open the patio door letting the cool air in and on the floor dinner by candle light for just the two of them. She hadn’t cooked of course wanting the night to be memorable for the right reasons and hospitalisation was not what she was hoping for. Checking her watch for the 10th time she took a calming breath pink heels nervously tapping on the floor wait for warrior to arrive.

"Drew baby, guess what's coming up? Our favorite day of the year..."
“Day?”Drew sat lotus style her sketch book perched on her knee drawing a design that had come to her in a dream, so beautifully stunning it had her ignoring everything around her including her dear husband. Looking at Brent she scanned her memory for a day that was their favourite...his birthday? Day they were free from a tyrant, anniversary...
Standing up she smiled brightly and looked at the calendar, biting her lip Drew hopped from foot to foot “Valentines day? My birthday?The best double combo since brownies and ice cream? Is it almost the 14th already?”Drew had never truly liked her birthday until Brent had come along, no one had known the day she was born because to her it was never a day of celebration just another day to be ignored while people pushed their undeniable love in her face. But like everything else in her life Brent had changed it when they had been on the run and he had stuck a candle in her burger bun and had told her to make a wish He may be chaotic but he brought peace to her in ways no one else had been able to.
After she had finished doing her little dance she got out a pen and pad “Oooo what are we going to do this year? Burger with a candle duh but else? Oh do you think we could take weekend trip?” she asked hopefully, they worked so hard and didn’t get to spend so much time together because they were saving for a house. It would be the perfect time time to reconnect again.

@drew: "Can't sleep?"
Can’t sleep @ribbedxgloves
Drew’s head nestled into the fluffy pillow eyes shut tight trying to ignore the sounds of the night like the wind, the light dripping of the tap and the light breathing of the person next to her. Sighing she turned again for what felt like the 30th time she looked on at Brent and lifting his arm she snuggled closer to him watching his long dark lashes causing shadows on his cheeks. “Brent...Brent you awake? I can’t sleep and I wondered if we should get a cat?”

@ribbedxgloves
Brent nodded slowly, realizing now why he regretted telling people because… that. Her reaction caused him to feel sick to his stomach, that she would see how pathetically poor he was and how he was an emancipated minor. Well, he was eighteen now, so technically not a minor, but he turned eighteen just a month back.
When she addressed him again, he explained, “I live in the third floor, room B-35. If I work here I get my rent paid and I also work at the hotel bar as well. It’s, well if I show her to you, maybe that will explain some things.”
So he left her room, expecting her to follow but if she didn’t, he was to return anyway with a one month old baby in his arms. “The maids here are technically her nanny when I am at school or work. This is Eva, my daughter.” He let Drew peek over the drowsy child who was wrapped in a pink blanket. Her eyelashes were as long as Brent’s and she was rubbing her nose with her tiny hand. “Her mother is not around, so it’s just me who is raising her. I needed a job that pays well so I can give her everything.”
Drew watched Brent leave and waited in her room wondering what he was doing. Her mind was still blown by the fact he had been hiding a child for all of this time, hiding a child in the hotel she called home and she had never seen him till now. Slipping on a pair of shorts and tank top so she wasn’t naked when he came in she looked at Brent eyes wide knowing exactly what was in his arms.
Dressed in a pink blanket was a beautiful little baby who was sleeping, she was so tiny that Drew couldn’t believe that she was a real baby. ”She looks like you…she is beautiful.” She had never really been in close contact with children before but when she reached out and touched the babies hand and watched the little fingers close around it she didn’t feel so scared anymore. Drew never wanted to patronize him or insult him by offering him money or a better room but she wanted to do something. Being a senior working and being on the sports team at school no doubt took up all his time which explained why he had looked so distracted recently “If you ever need help with anything…I am around…if you want me to look after her or something just let me know.”
