Lydia tapped her nails against her cocktail glass. Ignoring his question, and countering it with another. "What do you think brings people to a bar? life troubles or trying to pick up someone to distract you from those troubles. I'm beginning to think i know which one you are." She pointed at him, playfully. Buying her a drink was an easy give away. He wasn't being very clever or interesting with his tactic to grasp her full attention.
He held back the urge to roll his eyes, who an earth would turn down a free drink? “Well I’ve bought you one anyway darling, if you aren’t going to drink it guess I will have to” he said pulling it towards him. “Lydia? What a nice name you have! So what has brought you here? No offence but you seem to be trying to drown yourself in alcohol. Not that I’m complaining it’s something I would recommend” he said with a small shrug. This was getting nowhere, perhaps he would have to up the anti depending on her next reply.

Victoria was struggling a little, nothing bad but emotionally she felt drained after seeing Miles for the first time since she left New York it had been hard for her because she was riddled with Guilt, she knew what she had done and she knew she would have to live with it but seeing him again just made everything worse. She knew going to Adrian would at least help her calm down a little because he was always there for her in times when she needed it. She drove to Adrians place and as she got out of her car she knocked on his door waiting for a response from him.

After being born and raised in Chicago and then living in New York City for the greater part of her young adult life, Xyla Villanueva considered herself to be a pizza connoisseur, a pizzeria professional, a pie snob. She knew the places in her home town that served the best deep dish pizzas, and curated a similar list while in the city. There were the obvious choices like Keste Pizza & Vino on Bleeker street, Patzeria by Times Square and of course Joe’s Pizza on Broadway. But she also knew the best kept secrets like Grimaldi’s in Brooklyn. While she didn’t boast about this information to random strangers she pass on the street, some days it physically pained her to see people lining up and spending their hard-earned money for a flimsy slice of rubbery cheese.
She was on her way for lunch when she spotted a man standing in front of a shop, reading the menu. Her first thought was to leave him alone and to realize his mistake on his own. But with her favourite pizzeria just around the corner, she felt obligated to say something. Just this once.
“Don’t waste your money there,” she said, stopping a few paces away from the man. “All you’ll get is a lie as tough as cardboard and a one-way trip to the bathroom for the next two hours. Trust me. It’s not worth the 3$.” @adricnparker

Location: Adrian’s
Availability- Closed: @adriangwon
This was a bad idea; Laura having been no stranger to those. She fidgeted in her stance, her hands fiddling with one another as she awaited someone to answer the door. As much as she tried to push the whole Zakary situation out of her head it boomeranged right back. And despite the distance they were both holding one another at she felt compelled to well- seek out Adrian’s address. Having forgone why she needed it in the first place..
With the delay in the door being answered she was taking it as a sign, perhaps the universe was saying leave him alone you left him dizzed enough having taken him on a spin on your carousel of confusion. Turning on her heels, she was about to make her exit- more like make a run for it- when she heard the door open behind her. Laura having no choice but to turn and face the music. Offering a polite- albeit guilty smile- she spoke up. “Adrian hi!- I uh- thought.. no one was home. Sorry,” Scooping her bluntly cut dark tresses out of her face, she tucked the strands behind her ear- only for them to fall back to where she’d just removed them, “is Zakary home?”

“As you should,” Lindsey replied cheekily. Her word was law. Adrian should know that by now. Lindsey inclined her head slightly in thanks as she settled herself into the chair. She was fully capable of taking care of herself — she’d been doing it her entire life in all the ways that counted — but she couldn’t deny that being cared for always caused a riot of emotions to erupt within her. Adrian was doing this because he’d been born and bred to be a gentleman, but Lindsey appreciated the gesture all the same.
“Oh please.” Lindsey couldn’t help the way she scoffed and rolled her eyes. “Everyone’s less interesting than you. Gabriel just happened to be better at pretending he wasn’t.” She’d been young enough to be starry eyed at her brother’s friend. He’d been charming and she’d been naive… and Adrian had been witness to it all as the other member of her brother’s group of friends. “And the latest one wasn’t even my choice. You know that.” That engagement, brief as it had been, had been the work of her parents. “I like to think I’m capable of choosing better nowadays.”
"I'm trusting your judgment on that," Adrian looked down and gave her a wink. Paxton could prove itself to be incredibly boring, but it'd be alright if he got to spend more time with Lindsey. This was probably the first time they lived in the same place in close to twenty years. He almost thought about pointing that out, but he didn't feel like it had been that long. He never did.
He pulled out Lindsey's chair first, then took his own seat. Her teasing rolled off Adrian's shoulder until she mentioned that he forgot her. Adrian unwrapped his silverware with a snort. "You? Forgettable? Not possible. It takes an interesting person to make all of that interesting -- the board rooms, the meetings, the chess games," he smiled. "Besides, if I recall, you tried to demote me awhile back with someone less interesting."

The message was unexpected. Olivier checked how long it would take him to get to the location, and he didn’t have time to pretend like he was going to think twice about meeting Adrian. The churning in his stomach was about as intense as it might be if he was attending a nice party and wasn’t sure if he was dressed formally enough. He was nervous...but not as nervous as he likely should’ve been. When he arrived, he wasn’t even fully expecting to see Adrian there.

Desmond had meant to see Adrian after buying him at the auction, but then he’d caught sight of Lettie. Of course he’d rushed after her, distracted by the need to talk to her about what exactly had gone done with her and her bidding when he’d gotten onto that stage. Then there had been the chaos of the arrests, and before he knew it he had missed his chance to talk to the man he’d ended up with. This was why he’d shown up at the Dive, though it was once again looking dilapidated after the ATF’s rifling through it. Still, he supposed this was convenient in that he might eavesdrop a little in addition to seeing Adrian. Desmond had tried to get here at the end of Adrian’s set, hopefully to find the man on a break or something of that sort. “Hey- it’s me, Desmond.” He was feeling...perhaps a little awkward. How did one begin a conversation with someone they’d bought a date with? Not that he intended it to be a real date by any stretch of the imagination. “I’ve seen you around a little. And I ah- bought you at the auction.” Perhaps it was an old habit, reintroducing himself multiple times. In highschool he’d had to constantly do it, being rather invisible back then.

Ramina savors these days with Adrian, the times they’d go shopping with some crusty old man’s credit card that she’d tricked from his pocket...or simply convinced him to let her ‘borrow.’ It was these days that she always showed up on Adrian’s front porch with the piece of plastic clutched between her greedy little fingers, biting her lip eagerly as she knocked on his door to proudly inform him that they were going shopping. Olympus didn’t have the most prolific shopping mall, but it still had enough stores to sate their hunger. Now, she was impatiently pulling Adrian through it’s entrance by the hand, eyes wide with the promise of all the things she could buy. “Alright, game plan. Where are we hitting up first? Do we have any burning needs right off the bat?”

Mal listened to the account, his shock growing with each new word spoken. "This..." He paused. "This gives me a lot to think about," he concluded. He'd been so excited about bringing home a plant, about having something else to care for that wouldn't require a lot of effort, but it seemed like he'd come woefully underprepared for the task. "Maybe I'll just try again some other time or stick to raising my pup."
"Hm? Oh." Adrian turned around as he was addressed and looked at the little cactus before shaking his head. "Nah, man. I had a friend once who killed their cactus just by leaving it outside for too long. Then again, she was in Arizona, so that's literally the middle of the desert... I think it should be fine in Colorado," he concluded with a nod. It was a winding explanation but it was nothing new with Adrian's talkative nature. "Yeah, you're good. Just be careful with pets — I can't have any houseplants 'cause my cat knocks everything over."

Melody knocked on the open sheriff door and stood in the doorway. “Not interrupting, am I? I was just bringing you the reports from the morgue.” She held up the three files slightly to gesture to them before letting her arms fall back to her sides and waited to be allowed inside.

Spotting the new sheriff that she had only really spoken to when he had his kid, she soon approached him when the stranger he was talking to went on their way. “Hey, so..” her hand soon dived into her bag, pulling out a flyer. “Don’t wanna be rude, but I didn’t know if your kid would be interested in this.” she handed him the flyer, it was the recent activities the gym was putting on in the free hall next to their building, it was for children, a range of sessions were listed, karate.. kickboxing.. as well as a number of active games. The times were suited for after school on Fridays, as well as late afternoon on Saturdays. @widowerwolf

The party had already started and the first guests began trickling in as his sister was still finishing getting ready upstairs because ‘she wants to make an entrance’. He thought it was ridiculous, but his father warned him not to say anything to burst Diana’s little bubble. That’s when Adrian saw him enter through the front door, forcing a polite expression onto his face. “Malcolm Greengrass back at our Manor. Never thought I’d see the day.” After leaving his little sister heartbroken and crying so much he had to put a silencing charm on her, Malcolm dared to step foot in here?

Edgar was not the kind of person who enjoyed coffee -- give him a well steeped cup of tea any day -- but even he couldn't resist a seasonal offering. He would probably hate it, but at least he could say that he'd at least given it a shot. "I'm probably going to be off the walls after this," Edgar acknowledged, glancing over his shoulder at the speaker. "But maybe I'll actually get some paperwork done," he joked. "So, definitely get the espresso shot. Any other suggestions?"

Where: Prickly Perk
When: Present Evening
Adrian was a bit of a coffee snob. When a person travelled across the world like he did, it was difficult to enjoy simple lattes with all their milk and syrup. Yet, Adrian's job was to write about his new "home," and that meant exploring all that it had to offer. One of those offerings was Prickly Perk -- a cozy coffee shop with a cactus in the shape of a mug on the glass. Adrian just finished the fourth offering on his "late night flight," a new marketing technique he assumed judging by the way the barista talked it up, and wrote a few notes. He glanced up as someone caught his eyes. "If you're wondering if this is worth the late-night caffeine, I would say it is," Adrian said. He pointed to one of the smaller cups. "This espresso shot is my favorite."

She expected the older ladies at work to swarm her when she came in with her baby. Her dad had been giving them updates to keep her job in tact and claimed she was ill and that is why she was away. At least, that’s what she worked out from all the women asking her if she felt better and saying they were sorry to hear she was so ill. She caught eyes with Adrian and walked over with a smile. “Hey.” She kept looking at down her baby boy to check he was okay. She was a nervous wreck of a mother and very scared she might do something wrong. “This is Roman.”

who: @adrianmasri where: lecture hall when: early thursday afternoon
There was a simple solution to Rhia’s tardiness problem; adapt and wake up earlier than she would. Between nurturing a hangover and hating mornings, her first classes of the day knew to expect her several minutes after lectures began. She had yet to receive an absence notice this year but knew it was coming. Rhia slugged to her acoustics class with no sense of urgency, too preoccupied with her head fog to remember she hadn’t completed the reading for today.
The door creaked slowly open, revealing the inquisitive eyes of her peers who’d made it to class on time. Rhia didn’t so much as offer a cute, half-smile; instead, scanning the hall for an open seat. Without a second thought, she lumbered to the seat a few rows down, uttering small apologies as she passed other students in the row. She didn’t bother to give her neighbor a glance until she’d sat down, but she instantly recognized his dark helmet of curls. She looked up at Adrian’s face, grimacing at the reminder of how poorly she treated him.
Did he hold it against her? Did he even think about her? Rhia knew they’d shared a class together but figured it was big enough they would never cross paths. Of course she waltzed right to him and sat down like they were casual acquaintances. Maybe that was what they were reduced to now because of her. She set her bag in between her legs, turning to face the stage and failing to ignore him in her peripheral. After a few prolonged moments, she turned to Adrian again, peeking over to get his attention. “Hey,” she greeted in a soft whisper. “Did you- uh.... do the study guide?”

Alex knew that this time he would be able to deal with memories of that night alone and he honestly did not want to deal with it alone. Alex used to having nightmares but this time they were worst, starting to get worst; as a result, he was getting even more less sleep and only getting one, two hours if he was lucky.
Alex decided to invite Adrian for Coffee and breakfast because it has been forever since he had seem his good friend. He also decided to take the day off and try to relax and breath, Alex entered the cafe, finding a nice private boot to seat and ordered a cup of coffee and waited for Adrian. @adrianohara
