64) Algieria (CD)

Regencja Algieru (Algieria, 1671-1847). Flaga Imperium Osmańskiego. W 1671 r. ustanowiono system dejów. Dwudziestu dziewięciu dejów rządziło Algierem aż do podboju przez Francuzów, z których 14 zostało zamordowanych. Niemniej jednak prawdziwa władza często znajdowała się w dużej mierze w rękach Adjaków, milicji rekrutowanych w Anatolii, lub w rękach Taiat-al-raasa, grupy kapitanów korsarzy, którzy dostarczali państwu główne źródła dochodu. Dejowie sprawowali władzę absolutną, wspomagani przez diwan składający się z Skarbnika Generalnego (khazinedar), Szefa Armii (agha), Ministra Marynarki Wojennej (Wakil al kharj), Prokuratora Izby Żeglugowej (Bayt al malji) i Poborcy Danin (Atkhodjan). MacMeekin, który jako źródło podaje Flags at Sea, twierdzi, że flaga państwa w okresie 1671-1847 (mimo że deylicate zakończył się w 1830) była flagą siedmiopasową, identyczną, z wyjątkiem innych proporcji, z flagą wymienioną w źródłach weksylologicznych jako specjalny sztandar Algierii w 1875 roku. Ta flaga była rzeczywiście sztandarem algierskich statków, ustanowionym przez Francuzów w 1875 roku. Przed 1830 rokiem flagi używane na statkach były poziome, białe na czarnym tle

How does Jester get along with the rest of the dragons?

Poorly, they are not socialized. They can and will bite anyone who is not Medeis including Damon, Medeis' boyfriend.

Just kidding no one is safe! Medeis also gets bites! Jester is lowkey feral.

So enthralled by Medeis, Damon, and Jester, couple of questions about them. 1, what is a minuet and how long is a few??? How long has this mg been dead? 2 what are some of the other notable magics that Medeis has dabbled in? 3, what foes Jester look like in full? I'm having a hard time making out the shape of this beast

Oh man these three, I need to work on them more but I love them, thank you for getting me to think about them!

Medeis is a disaster and will drink random potions that he creates without prior testing. This doesn't always lead to great things. For the length of his "death" was literally only one or two minuets before being quickly resuscitated by some other alchemists in the building. He is like this because he's taken a bit of a spiral after blaming himself for the death of one of his colleagues.

He's studied a good handful of magics but the ones that he's more comfortable with is some healing and enchanting magic. He also may have tried his hand at some necromancy but 🤫 didn't hear that.

And as for Jester that's an understandable issues, they are a little weirdo <3 canonically it's unknown what exactly Jester is as they were found scavenging in the Arcane Roost undergrounds. Its suspected they are some sort of lab chimera gone semi feral but it's still in the air as they are MUCH more hearty then most lab chimeras. Medeis might not be the most ideal caretaker for them but somehow they've actually helped him start to get a better handle on his life(and of course Damon). Jester is being retaught to walk on their hind legs so they look a bit goofy when standing, they still prefer to skitter around and love to climb on things, especially Medeis and Damon.

Being around Link reminds Erasmus about when he use to work with Medeis. Back when Erasmus use to live at Arcane Roost, he worked with Medeis. After moving to Ever Autumn, he worked along for a bit. Now that Link has been to sent to Ever Autumn, its like having a young Medeis around again.

12: Hanging out with a friend, for Erasmus? (who I saw the thumbnail for and immediately said "oh I like this one :0")

Thank you! I love Erasmus’s design, I don’t draw them enough.

And for friend, it would be Medeis. They were on odd terms for a time because Medeis thought that Erasmus was dead(which they technically are). Their meet up again after Erasmus’s death(about 7-8 years later) was odd but they made up and are still friends. Medeis still feels terrible about it because he was blaming himself for their death for that whole time.

TMI Tuesday is more of a headcanon I have than anything else. But the first time Robin proposes to Dylan, it's in bed, on a rare night together. The second time is just after the Demigod War, Robin is bleeding and he's not entirely certain this is the right time, but he has to KNOW. Also, whose parents come to the wedding, and who is politely shown the door? (Loki, Loki is politely shown the door.)

Dylan: “YES. Robin could propose with a Ring Pop, and I’d say yes. Loki wouldn’t be invited in the first place, though. He practically started a war, and I’m pretty sure he’d be one of those people who would say he doesn’t think we should get married.”

I love it btws! Dylan probably wouldn’t think Robin was all that serious about the first proposal, and he’d jokingly say yes. The second time, he’d cup Robin’s face, give him a kiss, fueled by pure relief that Robin is still alive, and just repeat “Yes” over and over before it occurs to him that he should get Robin some medical attention lol!

Dylan’s mother, Veritas, would be invited but I don’t think she’d show. She’s a goddess, too busy or with better things to do. They aren’t particularly close, though she might watch from wherever she is at the time or send them a blessing. Dylan’s human family would be there, along with his two younger siblings whose names currently escape me oops. Ngl after the Demigod War, Dylan probably wouldn’t even want Loki to be invited, and he’d want to personally be the one to show Loki the door! xD
