Bryce, Jordan, Jude, and 200+ More of the Best Gender Neutral Baby Names
There are plenty of reasons you might want a shortlist of gender neutral baby names. For instance, if you're not finding out the gender of your baby before their born, but you want to have a name decided on ahead of time - picking a name that works for any gender is the perfect solve. Or maybe you just prefer gender neutral names to baby names that are more traditionally masculine or feminine (although, of course, we love using a baby boy name for girls!) Gender neutral baby names cut across categories. You can find gender neutral names amongst Victorian-era baby names, trendy names, and more unique picks, which means you can find the perfect gender neutral baby name no matter what "vibe" of name you're going for. And to get your creativity going, we rounded up more than 200 unisex names that will suit your baby no matter what. Ahead, find some of our favorite gender-neutral names for babies, from A to Z. BASIC INFORMATION
What is your character’s full name? Mollie Loraine Sloan.
How is it pronounced? Mol-Ee S-Loh-N.
Does your character have any nicknames? Moll, Molls.
When and where were they born? November 23rd at Seattle Grace.
What’s their occupation? She doesn’t have one, she’s just a student at the moment.
What gender do they identify themselves as? Female.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE
What’s their eye color? Brown.
Do they wear glasses or contacts? No.
Hair color? Blonde.
Have they ever dyed their hair or wanted to? When she was younger, she’d do the whole ‘dye a strip of your hair pink for breast cancer awareness month’ thing that lots of young girls do, but that’s it, and that’s all she’s ever really wanted to do.
Height? 5′5.
Do they have any birthmarks? Just a small one on her left shoulder.
Do they have any piercings or tattoos? She has her first holes in her ears pierced because she got them when she was really young & wasn’t petrified of needles, so that’s it.
If not, do they want to get some? Not even a little bit, no.
Do they take an healthy life style? Her answer to this would be yes, but she doesn’t. She exercises too much, and isn’t eating nearly enough.
How easy do they get sick? Very easily.
Any marks on their body ( injuries, … )? She currently has a cut on her arm that’s healing, she just got those stitches out. And she has a small scar on the bottom of her foot from stepping on a nail when she was younger.
How do they usually dress like? When she’s not at dance, loose-fitting clothing, for the most part.
What is their favorite and least favorite feature about themselves? Her favorite would probably be her hair, and her least favorite would be her weight.
PERSONALITY
Positive traits? She’s hardworking, kind, intelligent, and compassionate.
Negative traits? Shes stubborn, secretive, pessimistic, and self-critical.
What do they consider to be the best and the worst on their personality? She thinks that her best quality is the way she cares for other people, and her worst is how sensitive she can be.
Are they more extroverted or introverted? When she’s around people she’s comfortable with, she can be more extroverted. But normally, she’s introverted.
Any talents? Dancing. Specifically ballet, but she was always good at lyrical, contemporary, and jazz too.
What are their fears? Failure.
Do they have any phobias? Trypanophobia, or a fear of needles and injections.
What is their soft spot? Her family.
List 3 pet-peeves they can’t stand? Noisy eaters, slow walkers, people who’re rude.
EDUCATION
How far did they went in school? Are they still studying? She’s a sophomore in high school, so yes, but she doesn’t plan to go onto college.
Do/Did they like school? She used to, but lately, it’s felt like more of a burden to her. She’s really naturally smart, so she really does enjoy learning, but since her dance schedule has gotten so much more strenuous over the past year, school has taken more of a backseat for her.
What type of student are they? She tries, because she really does want to do well, but her grades have been slipping. She used to be a straight A student, but now she’s more of a B/C student.
What is/was their favorite subject? She likes English.
And their least favorite? Chemistry.
What were they / would they be voted as “most likely to…” in the yearbook? She’s become a lot more withdrawn at school, so she probably wouldn’t have been voted anything by her peers.
FAMILY
Who are your character’s parents? Mark Sloan & Lexie Grey.
How would your character describe them? Mollie loves her parents more than anything. She doesn’t say it enough, because she’s not super great at talking about anything emotional, but they’re two of her very favorite people, and one of her biggest fears is letting them down.
Do they have any siblings? She does, four older siblings; Sofia, Tulsa, Kaden, and Blaesus.
Are they close with their family? She is, but like with her school friends, she’s been more withdrawn from them lately.
ROMANCE & SEXUALITY - * you can totally skip for younger characters
What’s their romantic and sexual orientation? Heteroromantic & heterosexual.
Are they seeing anyone right now? Nope.
Have they ever been in an relationship? Nothing serious, just a couple of those middle school relationships back in the day that never really go anywhere.
Have they ever been in love? No.
How easy to they fall for someone? Not super easily, but it’s not exactly hard for her either. It’s somewhere in the middle.
In their view, why didn’t any past relationships work out? Because they were so short (& meaningless tbh), she doesn’t give it much thought.
What do they look for in someone? Someone kind would be her biggest thing, but also someone who could make her laugh.
Do they believe in love at first sight? or fate? No and no.
What’s their views on romance? Do they go after it or avoid it? She doesn’t avoid it, but she definitely doesn’t go after it. She’s not really outgoing or confident enough to do so, and she also just doesn’t have a ton of time for that.
What are their turn ons and turn offs? I don’t particularly want to say that her turn ons are kindness and a good sense of humor, because she’s fifteen, but those are what she looks for in people. And rudeness would definitely deter her from liking someone.
Were they ever cheated on or cheated on someone? Nope.
Do they want to get married in the future? Yes.
Have kids? She doesn’t think so, no.
QUIRKS
Are they right or left handed? Right handed.
Is there a saying they keep on repeating? Not a saying, really, but she says like a lot.
Do they curse? Not often, no.
What’s their worst habit? Cracking her knuckles.
Do they drink or smoke? How frequently? Back during her freshman year, before she became more withdrawn at school, her and a few of her school friends had a little bit to drink at a party one night. But that was the only time, and she’s never tried smoking.
Are they an early bird or a night owl? Naturally, she’s more of an early bird. But lately she’s been so busy with school and dance and homework that she’s really had to force herself to be both.
How tidy is their room? Very tidy, she doesn’t like for it to get messy.
How long to they usually take getting ready in the morning? Around forty five minutes to an hour.
FAVORITES
What’s their favorite color? Lavender.
Favorite movie? In general, Christmas movies, but her very favorite of those is Home Alone.
Music Genre? She doesn’t have a favorite genre. She likes a lot of different things, and a lot of what she listens to has to do with her mood.
Food? Pineapple.
Books? John Green books.
Favorite non-alcoholic drink? Water.
Ice Cream Flavor? Mint chocolate chip.
Indoors or outdoors? Indoors.
