He was dead, wasn't he? After christmas, he was dead?

Dr. Martha Jones had known the time lord could be capable just as well as the Doctor simply because of her association - worse, considering he ruined her family's life - in terms of surviving. However, the last time face popped up was due to everyone else also being him.

Well, being him in their clothes.

And then not.

One would presume he was dead - no, regenerated. And yet...

She gave a skeptic look at him. Not of rightful anger or heartbreaking confusion but, of why? Why was he not gone? Wasn't there was one with big hair and the cybermen? Or the one associated with the company Vore? Why did this one.... linger?

It was a better word than haunt.

Martha walked up while he spoke. He had told her about the war, showed the memorial of it to her. Seeing the after, how it effected everyone including him: that was one thing. This, seeing this painting here was another.

Though, a thought came to her. Only rational reason.

"Think this was during the Master's run as PM? Would explain why it's here if he left it behind."

"Oh my god." Her hand instinctively squeezes the Doctor's shoulder. Like old times. She had read their UNIT file, their status, seeing the report yet she was shocked at the sight.

His head whips around, hearing Martha's surprise.

Bill froze. She tended to halt at the sight of a pretty face and this was no different. "I was just –"

And then he saw what Martha saw. Him too speechless. It has been a long time and as far as he knew: this was impossible. "How –"

"You're Bill. You're alive!"

"Hi." Slight confusion was in Bill's eyes. She didn't know her but, she always smiled when she was confused. Even more so when there a pretty girl.

He looked back to the others - as if they too were to know that Bill was alive.

"And planning on staying that way, if that's alright." Her grin grew further. "And you are? And who are they?" Regarding to the others with them.

They were excitedly going on about a big inconspicuous signal, like a tower, that wouldn't be so obvious as one. She walked, listening and looked around.

It had to account for the large invasion that seem to spread across where they were. And then she looked what was obvious.

Large tourist landmark, center stage. Dr. Jones simply looked past them at the landmark.

"Hm."

She gave a nod towards the landmark, her eyes not leaving it, shoving her hands in her back pockets.

Martha was walking in not long behind him. At the sight, she was glad she chose to go freelance. Kate was more welcoming than this lot anyway. "Alright, didn't know you were all taking theatre." There was a laugh as she said it.

Walk in like you own the place, that's what he said, eh?

"Guns down, he's with me." She walks past them, grinning then. Her looking back then to Tolaas, "Come on."

Terran had informed Tolaas that he'd been requested. By UNIT, apparently. Terran and Tolaas had worked with them from time to time, but this time, Tolaas was specifically requested. He had no idea why.

He arrived at the building the next morning, and walked in. He looked around, and was immediately beset upon by many uniformed soldiers, with many guns. He was surprised how fast they came out ofnowhere, because he didn't even have a chance to reach for his own sawed-off.

"Not bad," he said, and started chuckling. He didn't put his hands up, because if he called on all of his energy, and pushed himself, he could disarm everyone who had guns pointed in his direction. Instead, he stood there and called out loudly, "I'm Tolaas Bluue, an I'm here at the request a'Doctor Martha Jones!"

The doctor was curious. Investigating a warehouse with what was being picked up as 'rift activity'. What she didn't expect was all the energy honing in on one person.

Rather, what appeared to her as a person.

"Oh, hello!" Dr. Martha Jones slightly natural hoarse yet londoner voice rang out, echoing a bit out in the place. "Are you waiting for someone?"

'Please don't be a backroom deal please please' was the first thought that rang out. Yes, she watched a lot of telly. She also investigated many backroom deals in warehouses dealing with backhanded meetings of alien tech.

just a further thought abt the whole rose arc:

i love rose, i really do. i love all the ships with the doctor

(except joan redfern, i just liked her great granddaughter Verity Newman WHO WAS NAMED AFTER JOHN SMITH'S MUM? I really really don't want rose tyler back. billie can come back anytime she wants to. but, please not as rose. like please? she can come back as anything, hell a whole ass god like in the 50th (and in the Gabby comics) reprising her role as the Moment? as the tardis interface? the Rani? I'll take it but, not as rose tyler. In the words of the Moment: no more. no more. no more.

don't bring her back. i rather have a Moment spin off than a Rose one, I swear. I'll pay money to see it read it and hear the entire saga of audios of billie piper as the Moment.

The Moment can shapeshift but, specifically chose billie as a default. Like I dunno abt y'all but I rather have the moment. The Bad Wolf era is closed, The Moment needs to shine. Let 'em shine!

some headcanons for Classic Doctors, War, Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh, Twelfth, and Thirteenth Doctors (according to the target novelizations.)

Classic Doctors Headcanon

They joined up with Thirteen to figure out once and for all why the hell they keep seeing Clara every-fucking-where they see the words Bad Wolf and she just tells them that they are a lesbian couple that is playing an eternal hide-and-seek tag game with them and to not worry about it. Then, they heard War, Ten and Eleven arriving, with 13 and Curator yelling ‘SCATTER’ and then a bunch of men and a woman bolted to their respective Tardises.

Current Doctors When Together Headcanons

Canonically, this, and this but, minus other characters. I’m just saying. They should get some money for predicting it. Another is the fact that 13 does this as more of a private joke to herself.

Tenth Doctor Headcanons

Headcanon that Ten punches Eleven for forgetting until he does remember not just of the children but, the number of all life signs that was on that planet from adults to babies to animals. War Doctor has to break it up and the Moment pulling out Rose’s pink mobile phone to record the fight because you know the Moment is that kind of person.

Ten left Mickey and Martha two laptops, both upgraded to gain access to the Military, Unit, Torchwood bases, and the CIA as well as FBI. As a parting gift and a congratulations on getting married.

Ten sometimes wear contacts and bought his extra specs from the mall outlet store called Claire’s. He met a Clara echo there, ironically enough named Claire who spoke french. It was a rather long conversation about the physics of color before Rose had to drag him away. He was able to get her number as well as a application for Claire’s if he ever wanted a summer job.

Rose actually comes back down with some cocoa to ‘sober him up’ and Ten drinks it even though he knows there’s no amount of cocoa that would stop the regeneration from coming. She asks how hard he partied and he said he fell from a roof, drank an energy drink and somehow, he’s running on fumes. He then tells her that he loves her. She laughed because she doesn’t know that he means it and he gives a smile as he finished his cocoa. He then says “Hope to see you too.” and she adds, “If you can bounce up in the morning.” before running off with a empty mug. That’s when his smile fades and it becomes more of a struggle and so forth and so on.

Eleventh Doctor Headcanons

Headcanon that 11 sees the Moment standing where he speaks to the audience and is basically talking to a smiling Rose, hencing why he also looks like he’s tearing up before he blinks and it’s River reaching out to him before he ‘sneezes’ and that is why 12 is looking at Clara so damn hard. He needs to be sure she’s fucking real before yelling about his kidneys.

Twelfth Doctor Headcanons

12 and River got married (properly) on Darillium with the ring that fell off 13′s finger because 12 got thick fingers. That and to personally honor at least one of his deceased wives that isn’t commemorated by museums (cleopatra, elizabeth 1, marilyn monroe, etc.).

Additional Headcanons

Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen. Thirteen pissed off an Axon-grown frog and she ran the hell away as it chased her.

The other two incarnations are part of the new cycle later on, one being directly coordinated to an alternate time line in the Doctor’s Sixth Self where Daleks took over and cut off his legs to prevent him from running after attempting to escape numerous times. This is unknown however, K-9 eventually travels with this incarnation and possibly Luke as a result.

Thirteen recalls that the Bad Wolf Band becomes popular in later years, having their most recent album.
