Tilting his head back, Jackson couldn't help but roll his eyes at the driving and not drinking comment. Not the he had ever done it nor would he do it. They needed people first before they thought about that part.
"Let's just figure out the logistics of who's coming, where we're going and what time before we worry about that part." There had to be someone they knew that was sober. Again, a worry for later.
It would be a good time to go out. "Yeah, yeah it should be easy to recruit." He nodded, "Let's plan more in detail tomorrow or something, text me, yeah?" @basaaragon
It was a pain in the ass having to be so responsible all the time. He wished he could kick back and have fun. Grades in college hadn't mattered, even if Bas wanted to get good grades. He was a perfectionist and that wanted the best for himself, even if it meant that he was rarely able to do anything fun—although if anyone asked him, reading law books was fun. "That sounds good. At least if we're planning on driving, I'd appreciate having someone driving us around that's not drinking." Public intoxication—honestly drinking in general—was not appealing to him that much. Hanging out with friends was more of the appeal of a bar crawl. "I'm sure there's a list of other people ready to celebrate the end of the semester as well."

"I got you man." Jackson said with a nod. This was the first time that Jackson felt up to going out and partying since he had been back in Aurora Bay. "How about we do a bar crawl?" He asked as he started to think about what bars they should go to. Sharky's was always a must. "We could pregame at my place, walk, to the bars then crash at my place. Could even invite more of the homies too."
Jacksons guest list varied. Sometimes it was long and sometimes it was short. However, it was Bas's birthday and not his so he had to respect whatever he chose. @basaaragon
Bas missed his undergrad days when he could sit around do nothing—and party with friends. These days he felt like he had to be responsible. Ever since he came home, he felt like he was the glue that was trying to hold his family together and it was exhausting. He wished he could have been here. Some days Bas really did just want to be a young guy in his early twenties with no responsibilities. "Hell yes, that sounds like the perfect plan. I have nothing to do tomorrow and don't want to sit at home doing nothing."

"Dude." Jackson was up to celebrate. He had been in a funky mood since he got back to Aurora Bay. Things had gotten better after Halloween.... maybe he did just need to get laid to feel better now that he thought about it a little better. "How about we go out and celebrate tomorrow night?" He suggested. They could pregame at his place and then walk to the bars. That was his favorite part about living in Seabrook Quarter thus far. He could actually walk to the stores just as he could in SF. @basaaragon
who: open / @aurorabaystarter where: near town hall
Bas felt like this was just not his week. After getting a poor grade on an exam in one of his classes, he was honestly looking forward to a bit of a break—have a time to reset. He wasn't even sure if he'd be doing anything for Thanksgiving or if he was going to skip it, but there were options. Leaving town hall after dropping off a document for work—really the last thing he needed to do this week before he was done for the week. "I'm officially done with work for the week." Bas said to the person beside him on the sidewalk. "I feel like I should celebrate."

"What a sad life we are living Bas," Lacey said sarcastically and laughed. "At least I can say I picked up on what sort of liquor I can handle during the years of college." She also learned what she wanted to do after college, at least that's what she thinks.
"Honestly, it's been a while since I've read a good book, so maybe that could be a good idea." Bas laughed. "Well, I'm in the same boat. I really don't have any fun hobbies or anything. I went from high school to college and then back here to finish school." He didn't have extra time and he'd never had time to have a fun hobby. "I don't think I'd be good at crocheting."

"Besides partying? I don't know...read a book?" Lacey offered with a grin. "You're asking the wrong girl on what other thins you can do since I go between school and partying. I need to have at least one outlet to blow some steam. Unless I become some wonderful baker then maybe I could offer up some random hobby, how do you feel about crocheting?"
Bas laughed and thought about all the free time he didn't have most of the time. He wished he did have more time to do things that other kids his age were doing, but he also didn't want to be in school for the rest of his life. And to be honest, he didn't want to live at home or rely on his dad for money. "Two weeks seems like a lifetime."
He did need a break. "Sometimes it does feel like it spits me out. Especially since I don't really know what I'm doing." Everyone probably felt that way about their job. "Maybe not ten, but at least eight," Bas laughed.
"I have no idea. I think I might go see a movie. I can't party every night, you know. What do you think I should do?"

“Oh, well, look at you, Mr. Free Time!” Lacey teased with a grin, leaning casually against the nearest railing. “Two whole weeks of chaos, and now you’re just done? Like, done-done?” She gave a playful laugh, glancing toward town hall where he pointed.
“You deserve the break, though. Seriously. Town hall always looks like it’s chewing people up and spitting them back out. I mean, you seem fine, but you’ve probably got, like, ten layers of stress we can’t see, right?” Her expression softened as she tilted her head.
“So what’s the plan now? Big relaxation agenda, or are you one of those people who says they’ll chill but ends up tackling a whole new project instead?”
Bas didn't have a lot of time to himself, but he did right now. Free time was about to be all he had for a little bit of time. He was excited for the break that he had coming up. At least it meant that he was going to get the time to relax. "Yes, I'm totally free now. That was it for the last two weeks." He pointed to town hall again.

"Great!" Lacey exclaimed excitedly, clapping her hands together. She needed a reason to go out and well why not use this reason. Majority of her friends were either busy or going back home for the holidays so why not just go out for some fun drinks and laughter. "You free right now?"
"I worked really hard this semester too." People had been trying to get him to do something fun for a while. Still, there was only so much time in the day. He couldn't help the grin that appeared on his face at getting to relax on the beach with a couple of drinks and a good group of friends. "Yes, that sounds like a marvellous plan. I can't wait."

"Exactly, so think of it as a little reward." Lacey said grinning. Of course it was better than being in a library studying. She clapped her hands together and grinned wider. "So beach bars? Have a few drinks and chill by the beach?"
"Oh! A beach day sounds like a fantastic way to spend the day. I spend most of my day sitting in a dusty old library. Fresh air seems like a good idea actually." Thank goodness California really didn't get that cold in the winter. He liked the idea of sitting by the water and soaking up some sun. "Any of the bars on the beach seem like a good idea too that way we can still have like a party at the beach."

"Exactly so I think we deserve to splurge a bit on that, I mean after this semester? We definitely deserve a little drink or more." Lacey said happily. She knew she needed a nice break from school and was thankful that the semester came to an end that she could finally breathe and go wild on whatever she wanted.

"Hmm..." She hummed lightly as she thought over the choices he made, "How about a beach day. Nothing beats relaxing under the sun and the smell of the ocean." Lacey said grinning. "Then perhaps if we're still energized we can grab some drinks for little celebration, hell we can have drinks at the beach too. The world is our oyster or whatever that saying is."
School was practically over for the semester and Bas was looking forward to getting at least a little break. He was ready to have a bit of time just for himself until the next semester started at least. Some people might not understand why he even cared enough to keep going to law school and have a job, but the only reason he had a job was for money so he didn't have to be at home. "I am down for almost anything. Club, nice fancy dinner, relaxing on the beach. Whatever sounds fun to you."
