do you think the fact that its never stated that anthea and concordia's last names are "harmonia gropius" like it is for n and ghetsis is intentional. like it may just be because they're severely underutilized, but n and ghetsis had their names specifically stated in the directors columns and a fan meeting respectively.

n mentions he was given the name harmonia, did ghetsis withold that name from anthea and concordia on purpose? if he did, why? he'd still need them to trust him, so they'd keep raising n in his place. not sharing that name is maybe an effort to distance himself, maybe he only cared about n having that level of trust with him?

Summary: Molly gifts Rosie something the teen never thought she'd get her hands on.

Eighteen Years Old

Molly got me concert tickets to Niall Horan on my eighteenth birthday. I was over the moon. Since I was ten, I’d considered myself a Directioner, and the year I turned thirteen, I had my first celebrity crush. Harry Styles, one of the One Direction members, was destined to be my boyfriend someday in the future, no questions asked.

I got over it. Eventually. When Molly accompanied me to one of their last concerts before they split up, it was more important to sing along and enjoy the music than to pine for the darkhaired young Brit.

Niall, who was a previous member of One Direction, had sold out all his concerts in the UK, and I and my two friends, Leyla and Clare, had tried but failed to get tickets. And now, I suddenly had three of them in my hands.

“Molly! I don’t know how to thank you enough,” I exclaimed and hugged her hard and long. “How did you…”

“Shush now. I have my…sources,” Molly said and winked at me. “Give the girls a call and tell them the good news.”

Papa tried to insist that one of uncle Myc’s chauffeurs could drive us to the O2, where the concert was to be held, but Dad and I managed to make him see sense.

“I ride the tube almost every day, Papa. The Jubilee Line will take us straight to North Greenwich station, and then we’re practically there. We can’t always make use of uncle’s privileges, you know. It would be embarrassing and attract too much attention as well if three ordinary girls turned up in a…”

“Nothing ordinary about…” Papa interrupted me, while Dad interrupted Papa with a stern voice calling his name, and that was the end of it.

Molly had procured us with great Inner Circle tickets and early entry. It must’ve cost her a fortune, and I kept wondering who this source of hers was. (Not that I didn’t have my suspicions.)

With money my grandparents had gifted me, I bought merch. A t-shirt, a few bracelets and a key lanyard.

The concert was brilliant, and luckily, we were already on our way out of the venue when a group of girls started to fight amongst each other over a signed poster of Niall. It got ugly quite quickly. A nail file was put to good use, blood flooded, and hysterical teenagers were running to the tube station.

My phone vibrated in the back pocket of my jeans. A text.

Walk to the parking lot by the Aurora Tower. I will have a car waiting for the three of you. UM.

Clare had started to get a bit freaked out by the crowd pushing on us, and she sighed relieved when I told her and Leyla that we should walk in the opposite direction to be picked up by my uncle, Anthea or just a driver.

“Your uncle is just brilliant, Ro,” Leyla stated. “How did he know? This just happened minutes ago. I’m sure it hasn’t reached the news yet.”

“Not the ordinary news,” I agreed without elaborating further.

When I spotted the car, another text arrived.

Ferguson will be driving you. He already knows Ms. Aldershot and Ms. Carson’s addresses. I hope you had a good time. UM.

A+C only have table scraps of characterization, but what they do have in the games is so compelling to me. Anthea's conviction against all odds that Pokémon training is good. Concordia's sharp awareness of how Ghetsis was deliberately twisting N to his will. Both of them apparently clever and canny enough to keep this hidden, to survive in an organization that doesn't tolerate differing ideas while knowing how deep the corruption runs. Both watching the child they raised run recklessly toward destruction, helpless to protect him from himself.

any n headcannons?

Hmm I'm not usually a headcannon-y sort of person, but I'll throw out a few of mine!

-I see him as 100% aroace. He has no interest in romance and would rather have strong platonic connections instead. I don't think he ever developed a need for a relationship, and would rather dedicate his time to creating a better future for people and pokemon.

-Because he is so smart, he often gets bored. Likes to spend his free time doing brain puzzles, sudokus, and other thinking games for the fun of it.

-He is ambidextrous (cause why not lol)

-He is incredibly close with his sisters Anthea and Concordia, especially once they are away from Ghetsis. They get to be a bit more silly around each other and their true personalities shine outside of the roles they were pushed into as children.

-He is incredibly selfless, but has a lot of scars due to the injuries he gets protecting other people/pokemon from harm. Especially from the events that happen in the anime/manga (My poor boy :c)

-Absolutely loves to ride trains. Whenever he rides one he sits by the window and his eyes are just glued to the passing landscapes in wonder. Has probably read a lot of books on the mechanics of different machines too

-Alder becomes a caring father figure to him. I will die on this dynamic

I'm not very good at this headcannon stuff but yeah! That's about it :)

this whole... rotomblr multiverse thing is pretty weird, isn't it?

i've seen several different... um... what's the way to phrase this...? several, like... versions? of my boyfriend on here who are from other universes, different points in time, doing different things, meeting different people...

universes where i... presumably don't exist. or at least took a pretty different path in life, i guess. i've never seen another me. i-i don't know how i'd react if i ran into a blog made by me from like, another dimension or something... i wonder how different we'd be...

I'm using @hiveworks' Micro Comic Summer event to expand my creative horizons with an autobiographical comic! This idea has been in my head for a long time, inspired by Lucy Knisley's work and the Secret Loves of Geeks/Geek Girls anthologies.

weirdly elated to discover that N does, in fact, mention his sisters Literally Ever

actually looking back at the archive i'm. not sure how much it got onto tumblr that connie's been a complete wreck this weekend. most of it was either on discord or like? vaguely implied? for like the first time in the history of lovenpeace-pkmn i've actually managed to get anthea to talk more about her feelings than concordia???

anyway. what's been going on is:

somewhere around Friday Nictoria @/ariadosanon had that video posted of her brutally murdering some Rocket's pokemon. Connie, veteran of last time Nic was on Rotomblr, was planning to just scroll past and ignore it, but it ended up becoming a major topic of discussion on the Taskforce Distortion Gliscord server. this was not great for Connie's mental health

literally the next day @/cherrytree-irl N was hospitalized by a hydreigon. neither Anthea nor Concordia took this well (a); Connie, who has herself been attacked by hydreigon, spent most of the day offline trying not to have panic attacks.

however she did ask the Taskforce server if they could keep discussion of Nic's crimes to the vent channels, which was very brave of her because she's bad at asking for what she needs and also more intimidated by Lynda than she lets on.

Sunday Connie made a concerted effort to Stay Home and Do Something Fun With Her Kid to like. recalibrate her nervous system. unfortunately Anthea ended up pissed off enough about some things Byrd @/swellowmypride said in the Taskforce gliscord that she ended up like. actually venting her frustrations for once. including the thoughts on Connie's self-hatred that she's been biting back.

I'm really happy there was an opportunity to throw that in actually Anthea's been quietly bothered by that for ages now

anyway. A+C apologized to each other offscreen (this is hardly their first argument) and have been trying to like. calm down and focus on normal and silly stuff. I was gonna have Connie call in sick from work on Monday but I forgot it was Labor Day and it would. be kind of silly to do that on Labor Day.

so the reason Anthea was surprised by that anon asking if she was okay was that from her perspective, Connie's been having PTSD flashbacks all weekend and then got yelled at by her sister, whereas she got mad about something and has since mostly calmed down and even kind of feels better for actually expressing her emotions instead of bottling them up, so why would she be the one who's not okay?

but like. very little of that actually got onto the page. so.

pro tip: don't pick a roleplay character who hates talking about their feelings.

so there was this one team plasma recruitment video that's called "Rappin' for Ghetsis" by the team plasma youth outreach program (this was BEFORE team plasma showed its true colours btw) where the sage zinzolin tried to preach plasma's message in rap and it was so lame and the editing was so atrocious that it was an actual pr disaster and team plasma's official statement on it is that it wasn't them but an impersonator because the video was in 480p and "zinzolin has dignity".

it was like a huge thing for about a week and after ghetsis lost his shit there were a few memes about "ghetsis went insane because he had to listen to RfG for the 1000th time".
