Hannah's anxiety had been through the roof all day, so she knew she needed to do something to get her mind off of it without locking herself up in her room all day, so she googled the different shops in Aurora Bay and she was so excited to see a record store.
It took her a moment to find the place but she smiled as soon as she stepped foot inside. She loves stores like this and she knew buying herself something could give her just a little bit of serotonin. But as Hannah was looking through some of the vinyls, she looked up to see a familiar face. "Wren? Wren Harlow? No way I found you all the way here!" She laughed, recognizing her from the bar she used to work at in New York, the one she and her friends would visit often. "How are you?"

Thank you to my bestie and dm for being willing to work with me on wacky character concepts. This is Wren! He was dreamed into existence by my favorite Beholder in all of dnd lore, Large Luigi, who accidentally made him to help around the tavern. All he knows is Bussing Tables because that's what he was made for, but being an enlightened Beholder, LL encouraged him to find his own identity, so now he's going on his first adventure! He's got aspirations of being a hero.
Also his jaw opens reaaaaaaal wide :}

based: things we plotted
with: @darkwants
it wasn't as if it was anything new for the redhead. wren was used to being seen as nothing more than an object. after all she had grown up in one of the houses designated for women without families. she knew the laws and knew that she was allowed to be used by the general public. at least, unless, someone opted to claim her and take her in as their own. the rules for the houses were different because they wanted the girls to be claimed to empty the bed. that afternoon had been a rough one due to a rather angry man who felt the need to take his feelings out on her. by the time he had finished, she had been trembling. she found herself walking into the area that was designated for after care. even if women were treated like property, they were still to be looked after. she fully expected to head into the area where the baths and showers were. until she spotted arthur who had been lingering by a few of the other girls. he had come for her a few times but she had told him he couldn't keep it up unless he wanted to claim her. she was frozen at the sight of him but without thinking she was going to throw herself into his arms," i'm-i'm sorry!"

Trader's Bazaar
With @wrenaugustine
The stall in the bazaar was small and minimal. A frame covered by a tarp overhead. A few tables set up. Isela acted as the constant front for the shared space. Kaz came and went as he pleased or when he wasn't on a raid. He also handled the more discreet requests.
In the moment, Wren was there. Kaz shook a black velvety draw string bag and placed it on a table. "It's a bunch of necklaces. With those clasps you like." She could restring them for her own creations. Sell them off. Toss them-- hell, he didn't care. Wren routinely handed over her teleport access and in return Kaz usually brought something back from a scavenge to her. "Bunch of loose beads and tools in there. For the jewelry, shit like that too."
His phone buzzed and he looked at it absently. Kaz's lips barely moved to speak, attention torn between Wren and what his scanning eyes read. "Excited about the wedding hm...?" The words trailed off. He lifted his chin as if to motion in a direction, perhaps the stage where the registry was posted. By then, Wren should know Kaz wasn't the best at conversation (and never claimed to be either).

❝wren, hurry, open the door!❞ wesley is banging on his sister’s front door with his left foot, each hand holding an ice cream cone. when the door opens, he comes inside, ice cream running down both hands. ❝the ice cream i got us is melting, get me a cup before my hands turn into sticky city!❞ he’s jumping up and down frantically, extra as always. ❝you took so long to answer the door, it's like a hundred degrees outside, help!❞

it wasn't exactly her ideal way to spend a friday morning. yet her boss had asked her to go to the farmer's market to pick up some things. apparently the herbs they sold at the grocery store weren't up to the woman's standards. of course that meant loading nathan up in his booster seat. she had thought that she would be fine with him in his stroller but he had insisted on walking beside her. of course that had led to her telling him that he needed to stay right by her. instead he was taking off like a bat out of hell into the crowd. she had just turned her back for one second or that was what she felt like it was. she had been trying to shove the cash back into her wallet and glanced up only to see he was gone. she instantly was cursing as she realized that she should have insisted he stay in his stroller.
"nathan!" she called out as she left her stuff right where it was. she was shaking her head in disbelief. panic was hitting her as she tried to scan the crowd. she knew that he couldn't have gotten far but she also was someone who watched a lot true crime. she was calling out for him and her hand was reaching for her phone. at least she realized that there was a head above the rest. she heard a laugh before she realized that she could hear his voice. her breath hitched when she realized that nathan was perched on someone's shoulders. she instantly was slipping through the crowd while trying to catch her breath.
"you gave me a heart attack!" she told the three year old. quickly she was reaching for him before she realized that she had yet to say anything to the man who was clearly taller than her. she bit down on her lip as she shifted him to her hip," i'm sorry, he just-i swear he was right next to me and thank god you found him, he is just too damn fast for me sometimes."

I’m more of a tea drinking type of guy. But if I do drink hot chocolate it’s straight up hot chocolate without any toppings or add ons.
.
Sweet Tea is my very most favourite beverage ever! But y’all are missing out on the full hot chocolate experience if you don’t do at least a little embellishing. Have you never tried adding some extra to your HC, or have you tried and it just wasn’t to your liking?

Who: @wren-evenfall x Vivian
Where: Vievecor's City Park
When: Recent/ Around the March Full Moon
Viv had been growing restless without the ability to throw herself into her work. She had cleaned just about every inch of her house countless times and was now resisting the urge to rearrange her garden or buy more plants than she needed. This was how she came to spend so much time in the park, not only was it a great way to let Frankie burn off some energy but it was surrounded by beautiful blooms and foliage she could appreciate. While Frankie was off chasing squirrels and marking his territory close by, Vivian had been admiring a few of the newer plants that hadn’t been there the last time they’d come. She called out to them when she spotted the person she suspected had planted them a few feet away. “Excuse me, so sorry to bother you! Would you mind telling me what this flower is? I don’t think I’ve seen it before and it is absolutely charming.”

“I thought you were supposed to call me.” Caroline couldn’t help but smile even as her words implied she was taking him to task. She hadn’t actually expected Wren to remember to call her when he got back to campus, although they’d agreed on it. To be fair, it wasn’t quite necessary, given that she was so attuned to his mind that she could sense his presence almost as soon as he entered the dorm; but the phone seemed more…well, normal. Which was rare for the pair of them, or really most of the people they knew. “What made you forget about me?” she teased. “Wylder take all of your attention already?”

where: riverwalk light display
who: @wrenackerman
He stared at the pathway ahead and all the random people getting warm drinks before walking down in groups. The lights looked cool. Sure he was a little stoned, maybe a lot more than a little but when wasn’t he? It was the only way he could be out with all the people and not freak out or get all weird. Though he kind of wished he brought along a friend or family so he didn’t have to walk down the somewhat dark and festive pathway by himself. Lucky glanced around to see if by chance one of them were nearby. He didn’t see anyone he knew but he did see someone chilling off to the side not with anyone and she was really pretty, not that it mattered but she was. The tall faux blonde figured, why not go talk to her? She could tell him to fuck off if she didn’t want to talk. “Hey so I’m an idiot and came here alone. Would you want to hang and check out the light walk river thing?” He pointed toward the riverwalk that he could not remember the right name for, even though he used all the words in the description out of order. “I’ll buy you a tea or hot cider or whatever everyone’s drinking. What do you say?”

she had decided to make a surprise visit to her friend. plus she wanted to know how everly was doing given everything. she knew that the blonde had dealt with a lot more then the rest of them in a sense. plus she was going a little stir crazy in her apartment. the sad thing was that there were still the wannabe reporters camping out in front of her building. thankfully she was able to get by them without too much trouble. since she didn't have a car she had gotten herself a uber. the trip wasn't a crazy long one since she lived in the middle of town.
to say she was surprised when she saw ezra's truck was an understatement. she had figured that he wouldn't be home. so she found herself walking up the front path and knocking on the door. the second that it opened she saw ezra and he didn't seem all that happy. in fact he actually seemed to be annoyed and she went to take a few steps inside," no offense but um i wasn't here for you." she didn't even look to see his reaction and instead glanced around. it became clear that everly wasn't home which probably explained why ezra looked like someone kicked his puppy.
"and apparently not here for everly either," she told him, slowly whirling around. she went to hold up the bag in her hold," so um, where is she? and why aren't you with her?" after all she had noticed that they were a packaged deal. something that she didn't understand but she wasn't going to rain on their parade. at least not yet and she took a deep breath," i guess i'm going to bother you until she gets back." mostly because she did not want to go home.
