in Big Qs Big Six it was implied that the person who commissioned Quackity, Niki and her group for the robbery is Dream (if you are taking into account the dsmp lore of shlatt giving Dream the revive book and applying it to BQBS), so my question is what was Dreams role in this story. he doesn't seem like the dangerous tyrant from Stars or the hero that has fallen from grace like in Clinic or World Forgetting. So could it have been possible for him to simply be a side character in the story or was he one of the good guys this time trying to get the book out of the wrong hands. ah yes big q's big six... one of my few forever unfinished fics...

anyway I wrote big q's big six a WHILE ago. as in, it was my first ever multi chap i started posting for this fandom. I started that fic back in may of 2021, so over 2 years ago now (jesus christ). I'm just putting that out there as context.

basically in big q's big six, dream was just a good guy. he hired the heist crew to steal the revival book back because he knew schlatt couldn't be trusted with it. I had a whole scene planned out where after the heist was pulled off and it got handed off to dream, he was going to have a private late night meeting with phil and eret both telling them what he'd arranged and offering the book to phil since he had ties with the goddess of death and all that, so he's the most trustworthy person to have the revival book since he respects death and wouldn't abuse a book like that.

I don't know why I decided to make dream a good guy in that fic. I didn't think c!dream on the dsmp was a good guy at that point, but I certainly did like cc!dream's content at the time so it was probably just bleedthrough of that. again, this was in may of 2021. things are very different now.

anyway as I wrote more dsmp fic I decided to stick more closely to canon characterization for the characters, hence why I started keeping dream as an antagonist in just about any fic he appeared in. because c!dream was always a villain in my eyes, so it just made more sense characterization-wise
