Works featuring other characters outside of gappleduo are still accepted so long as interactions between c!Dream and c!Philza are a major driving force.  (i.e. Doomsdaytrio fics are acceptable if Dream and Phil frequently interact with each other)

This blog runs off of a queue!  Don’t be disheartened if your submission isn’t posted right away; there may be a queue ahead of you.

Why this duo name?  Name credit goes to @yellumina !!  I’ve seen it used sparingly for this duo and it makes sense.  Phil’s connection with gapples is obvious, Dream is often depicted with them in manhunt art, and did you know that piglins are attracted to gapples just like other golden items??  (And don’t talk to me about lore headcanons where c!Dream is forced to eat gapples in the prison...)

2. What's your favorite c!dream duo?

y'all KNOW i love doomsdaytrio and all the combinations within it! rivalsduo, gappleduo, and emeraldduo all scratch my brain in very specific ways, and putting all of them together is a cluster of interesting notions of death, life, immortality, revival, and man-made systems. i'm having a hard time choosing between them!!

9. How do you headcanon c!dream's appearance? does it ever change?

i made the pretty boy au a while back so i clearly have some thoughts here...

while i humor the idea of c!dream being a hybrid (i like enderdragon & cat best), i think it's the most narratively interesting option if he's just a human, and i tend to think of him that way. emily @bigbaras's design lives in my head rent free. when i think of him, i usually think of that design, and that's why i picked her art as my avatar!! to re-use a phrase, i think of him as being beautiful in a "fallen angel" type of way; he's beat up, he's too thin, he's a mess, yet there's something about him thats so profoundly beautiful and a little bit otherworldly. the otherworldiness can also make him profoundly unsettling. i often think about his unknown connection with dreamXD when i think of his appearance.

i headcanon that he hid himself behind a mask before the prison, and afterwards, once everyone already saw him without it, he was less strict about it. many people wish he had kept it on-- for different reasons.

19. What are some of your favorite c!dream animations/songs/other type of video/audio content?

i actually have a playlist of dsmp animatics with ummm 150 videos :') i love them! here are a few favorites that are c!dream-centric:

Good name! c!Phil obviously makes sense - gapple gang, just having lots of gapples all the time and c!Dream being addicted to them after prison and being forced to consume lots of potions and gapples <3

i chose a mermaid au entirely out of self indulgence. i may do a roleswap at some point because it was so close to being chosen but in the end my deep desire to paint Tiny Scales won out.
