Masterlist

A/N: This is my new masterlist. I was going to just make a second masterlist but then I thought it would be a great idea to organize all my works and make tiny masterlists within this giant masterlist. So for example I have a masterlist linked in here just for my vav works titled “VAV Masterlist” depending on how much I’ve written for a certain group determines if they get their own masterlist. If there’s not a lot of pieces for a group or idol those pieces will be at the bottom. Also if I think I plan on writing for more of a certain group or idol they will get their own masterlist as well. The “Odds and Ends Masterlist” is for any edits I’ve made that aren’t moodboards or pieces that aren’t fanfics.

At the time I am putting this up unfortunately it is not complete as there are plenty of drafts that are not done. When I finish them they will be linked in the masterlist. Some things might change, I might decide  don’t want to continue to write on something so I will delete it from the list, the ones that don’t have links yet. Those I either have not started of have not finished. Another problem some links don’t exist when you click on them or they were there and then magically disappeared so I have to search for them again and reposted those :( I just checked my “odds and ends masterlist” and apparently that url does not exist so I will get it fixed it will just be awhile. I have to constantly go back and forth between desktop and mobile to find things and I’m just really so at trying to update the masterlist. Hoping I can get the links and things all fingered out and then I can just worry about writing the fics.

Spotify Wrapped 2019 (aka my year in music)

2019, the year I got back into musicals for real, thanks to discovering Elisabeth and Rómeó és Júlia in the spring. It’s also the year I rediscovered the music of my childhood (well, mainly the boy bands of it). Let’s see what Spotify’s statistics have to say about what music I listened to this year (and let’s see what I have to say about their statistics hahaha).

Top 5 most played artists

1. Backstreet Boys

Best boy band EVER (fight me). Their music is just so good!! Apparently I listened to them for 12 hours in total this year. I made a playlist this summer with boy bands from (mainly) the 90′s and early 00′s, that I listen to frequently. Creating the list actually started as a research/inspiration for a fic I’ve been planning but haven’t gotten around to write yet (apart from some bits and pieces).

One time I had the playlist on while I was cooking, when one of my housemates entered the kitchen and commented that I was "really showing my age" with it 😂. Then we sang along to “Bye bye bye” and “Uptown Girl”.

2. Jubiläumscast Wien 2012 (=the cast of the 2012 Vienna production of Elisabeth)

Ah yes, I’ve listened to so much Elisabeth this year. It’s a great musical that has become one of my favourites.

I was on the verge of burnout this spring, having an exceptionally heavy work load in school (I ended up having to drop a class because of it). During that time listening to and watching various productions of Elisabeth and Romeo et Juliette was one of few things that made me feel things. So yay to musicals for keeping me afloat.

3. The Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra

Well this was a suprise. I think it’s because I listened to their “Collected Hits” album quite a lot in the spring. I tried to learn their rendition of “It’s a heartache” on ukulele (guess what, I was dealing with heartache at the time). Plus it was good study music.

4. Years & Years

I've listened to their album Palo Santo so many time (and the song “Valentino” even more times). It’s really a great album! I used it a lot as study music this spring.

5. Robyn

This is also a case of listening to one single album on repeat, namely Honey. I alternated between that album and aforementioned Palo Santo as my study music.

1. “Kitsch” - Jubiläumscast Wien 2012(/Kurosch Abbasi) (from “Elisabeth das Musical”)

I must admit I have a favourite song in Elisabeth and this is the one. It’s a catchy earworm that never fails to cheer me up. Love Lucheni as a character, and how sarcastic he is in this song. 

2. “One night in Bangkok” - Murray Head (from the musical “Chess”)

“One night in Bangkok” is such a fun song that gets stuck in your head. It has the cleverest lyrics filled with puns and various references. While Murray Head’s version is a good one, I have a preference for Raúl Esparza’s version (alas there’s no professional recording released of it).

3. I want you to want me - Cheap Trick

Ok but I started listening to this song because of the fanfic “Only True in Fairy Tales” by  Dragonflies_and_Katydids on ao3. A thing that is really fun about that fic is that every chapter of it is paired with a song that relates thematically to it (with “I want you to want me” being one of them). It’s a great fic, and if you’re into Dragon Age: Inquisition and Cullrian I would recommend reading it. (and if anyone wants a playlist with all the songs from the fic I made one here - there are some bangers on there!)

4. We didn’t start the fire - Billy Joel

I tried to learn this on ukulele (with semi success) - while the chords are pretty simple the lyrics is a challenge, being pretty much 5 mins of just namedropping. There’s a really fun multi-fandom fanvid with it here.

5. This Charming Man - The Smiths

Morrissey and The Smiths was my jam in high school and I still listen to them from time to time (most of the time “This Charming Man” or “Ask”).

6. Kerek Egész - Bereczki Zoltán

When I got into Rómeó és Júlia I also got into BZ’s solo music. I listened to this song and the rest of his album Álomkép a lot in late spring and summer. I must mention that I also LOVE his rendition of Josh Groban’s “February Song” (”Hangokba zárva”). His singing is so beautiful and emotional in that one, and it’s one of my go-to songs when I need to cry.

7. Je n’aime que toi - Louis Garrel, Ludivine Sagnier, Clotilde Hesme (from Les chansons d’amour)

Huh, didn’t realise I had listen to this song as much as I have. It is a fun song from the French musical movie Les chansons d’amour.

8. Lovefool - The Cardigans

Oh Lovefool ❤️ It was rewatching Romeo + Juliet that made me rediscover this gem.

9. Everybody (Backstreet’s Back) - Backstreet Boys

I could never pick a favourite Backstreet Boys' song. However, this is apparently the one BB song I've listen to the most. It's another one of those songs that cheer me up, and makes me want to sing and dance.

10. Alle tanzte mit dem Tod - Jubiläumscast Wien 2012

Oh yes even more Elisabeth! That's a great intro for a musical.

This was a fun way looking back at the year, it really strikes me how music can be this intertwined with memories.

Hello, I am here to help. I've been on a bender of LGBT+ books this year and I hope I can help:

Carry On, by Rainbow Rowell is basically a Drarry fanfic from Harry Potter, but canon. It has a nice enemies to lovers mlm relationship and it was overall a fun read.

The wonders of the invisible world by Christopher Balzac is more in the realm of magical realism and it has a main mlm relationship.

Anything by Partick Ness. I've read Release, about a gay boy and one very bad day that ends with hope(magical realism), More than this (suicide tw, but a hopeful ending, sci fi, not fantasy) but my fave was The rest of us just live here, with a bisexual protagonist, a gay friend and a lot of fun to be had.

I am currently reading "When the moon was ours" and if i'm not mistaken, the mc is a trans man. (I only got a few pages in).

Goodreads has a lot of nice lists to help you with your search.

I have a few more suggestion, but most of them are in the realm of light sci fi (an absolutely remarkable thing , we are the ants (angst warning), Adam Silvera's work, even if it will make you cry). Also, there are many books I didn't read myself, but I have heard good things about (the Percy Jackson series and the spin offs, Ash and other works by Melinda Lo and a few other series). Sadly, there aren't that many LGBT books about like vampires and elves and things like that. But the situation is getting better and that is awesome:)

I should mention that I am also a professional amateur writer and I write sci fi (A better World series) and urban fantasy (Phantom Limb), that both feature many queer characters.

Bz Boys reaction: you hurt yourself in the kitchen

Taewoong: Taewoong?! You called from the other end of the house. As you entered the kitchen you heard him. “I’m in the living room!” As you took another step you slipped letting out a yelp as your butt hit the hardwood. “Babe? Babe are you okay?” Taewoong can rushing into the kitchen to your side. “Yeah, I guess.” Taewoong wrapped his arms around your waist and lifted you up helping you back on your feet. “I just mopped. Are you sure you’re okay?” He asked concerned. You nodded smiling at him. “Just my butt’s gonna be a little sore.” You said turning back while rubbing it. Taewoong smiled both hos large hands reaching for your behind squeezing your cheeks in his hands. “I’d be happy to kiss it better.

Bon: you and Wonho were in the kitchen trying to cook dinner as it was late and you reached across the stovetop to turn the heat down and the oil in the frying pan in front popped and splashed your skin. “Dammit!” You shouted immediately grabbing your arm. “You burned yourself again?” Wonho spoke up grabbing your arm to look at it. “S-shut up it was an accident.” You stuttered feeling embarrassed. Wonho smirked at you and turned the stove top off before leading you to the sink and running your arm under cold water. “Stay here I’ll go see if we have any type of burn medicine.” Wonho kissed your cheeks and rushed out leaving you feeling flustered.

Hamin: “over here?” You ask pushing the picture further to the right. You were on a ladder helping Hamin hang a picture in the dining room table. “No over to the right more.” You huffed feeling annoyed. “We’ve been at this for like 15 minutes what’s wrong with the way I had it all the other times?” You asked turning to him. “It doesn’t look the way I want it to look.” You rolled your eyes, ready to give up. “Well why can’t you just do it since you seem to know exactly where you want it?” You asked. You didn’t expect his next sentence to be so dirty though, “cause every time you lean over your skirt rides up and I can see your cute ass cheeks.” You were stunned. To stunned to speak. You just turned back around on the latter your face heating up. You pulled your jean skirt down before turning your attention to the picture. “Ok this is as far to the right I can go and I swear to god Hamin if this is just to look at my ass I will slap your nuts right off of you.” Hamin laughed, “can you go over a tiny bit more, more. There that’s perfect. Also perfect.” Hamin eyes were on your ass peaking out more now than before and he smiled to himself. That was until you yelped losing your balance. Hamin reacted fast and caught you in his arms as you fell off the ladder. “Are you okay princess?” You smacked him across the chest playfully. “You’re such an ass but yes I’m fine thank you.” Hamin let you down and as he did his hand pulled up on your skirt so he could grab your ass. “And you have a lovely ass.” You rolled your eyes and pushed him away. “Fuck off.” You joked walking out of the kitchen. “How bout I fuck you instead?!” Hamin called after you.

Seunghyun: “babe where are you?” Seunghyun called from the other room. “I’m in the kitchen!” You called back. You were hungry so you decided to chop up a few fruits and things to snack on. “What are you doing?” He asked. You could tell he was rounding the corner. You looked over at the kitchen entrance not watching where your fingers were. “I’m making ouch!” You shouted dropping the knife on the cutting board. “Are you okay?” Seunghyun rushed in joining your side. You held your finger out red oozing out of the cut. “Holy shit,” Seunghyun grabbed some napkins and held them around your finger with his other hand placed on your back. “You might have to get stitches love. Let me help you.” Sitting on the bathroom counter Seunghyun stood between your thighs as he cleaned all the blood off and attended to your fresh wound. You hissed tears falling when he tried to pour cleaner over your finger. “I know I know, you’ll be okay babe. I don’t think you’ll need stitches.” As you watched him you couldn’t help but smile, he cared so much about you. With a bandage around your finger Seunghyun gently kissed it as if you were a child but you didn’t mind it was a sweet gesture. “There all better.” You put your arms around him and kissed him as a thank you.

Double D: you were rinsing off the last plate when the faucet burst and water shot everywhere. You screamed blindly searching for the handle. You heard footsteps entering the kitchen. “Y/n what happened?” Donghwan said. He quickly turned the water off and grabbed a towel and held it up to your face to help you dry your eyes. “I don’t know the faucet just like popped off.” You frowned looking down at the front of your shirt. Completely soaked, your t-shirt clung to your body and when your eyes met with Donghwan’s he was staring, cheeks pink. You were slightly embarrassed knowing that he could see that you weren’t wearing a bra. “You want some help changing?” He asked cracking a smile. You scoffed hitting him with the towel, “shut up.”

A/N: Thank you to @wh0sthe5pecial0ne for helping me with the last scenario thank you Emmie 💕💕 I actually wanted to write this after our Kyungho convo and I’ve been wanting to write for BZ Boys anyway so thank you for putting the bug in my head. Also also Taewoong has a lovely bottom ~ 🦬

Taewoong: “that was a lovely dinner Taewoong.” You spoke softly as the two of you walked hand in hand down the street. Passing all the shops and streetlights while other people were out as well. You shivered a bit feeling the night chill go through you. Taewoong stopped walking. “You should’ve dressed warmer love.” He said taking his jacket off. You blushed as he wrapped his jacket around your shoulders and held you closer to him. His lips gently kissed your cheek causing you to giggle. “I just wanted to look cute for you. Didn’t think it’d be so cold. Thank you Taewoong.”

Bon: “this restaurant is so beautiful.” You gasped at the high ceilings and all the light fixtures that made this feel like some place in Paris. The soft glow that reflected off the walls made the atmosphere very calming and you were in awe. “They have excellent taste here babe. The food is delicious.” Wonho said taking off his jacket. It was date night and he was dressed in an all black suit to match your dress. Taking off his peacoat he placed it over your legs before sitting himself at the other end of the table. “Thank you Wonho you’re such a gentlemen.” You said smiling warmly at him. He smiled back and you two talked over the menu.

Hamin: you sat in the backseat of the car while your boyfriend Hamin was out calling a tow truck. You could hear his voice go in and out as if he was pacing. You watched his figure in the window, his hands thrown up and his voice raise as if he was arguing with the person on the other end. You pulled you jacket tighter around you and then heard the back door open and Hamin quickly settled in next to you. He let out a frustrated sigh. “It’s going to be awhile before someone can come out here, especially with all the snow.” You gave him a small smile showing you understood and he took his jacket off and put it over you. “I’m just glad there was a blanket in the back. It’s very cold.” Hamin pulled you into him covering his legs with the blanket so you could share body heat. “Hang in there love. Someone will come for us.”

Seunghyun: you and Seunghyun were walking down the street mostly window shopping, talking and laughing when a car sped down the road going through a puddle causing water to shoot up and splash all over you. Seunghyun tried to cover you in time but it was too late you were soaked. You could’ve laughed when Seunghyun joked that you looked like a wet rat but your day was ruined. “As you’ll be okay c’mon.” Seunghyun led you to an alley and took his jacket off holding it in front of you. “Take off your clothes.” You gasped, eyes wide. “Excuse me? Are you crazy?” Seunghyun smirked. “This is not the time to have dirty thoughts y/n. You don’t want to walk home in wet clothes do you? Take them off and wear my jacket, it’s long enough to cover you until we can get home and get you in some warm clothes. Come on silly hurry up.” You rolled your eyes and begun to laugh out of embarrassment.

Double D: you were at a friends wedding with your boyfriend as a date. It was a spring wedding but it was still a bit chilly out. It was held outside and there was flowers of all colors and the decorations were so pretty and the sun was out and everything felt so springy. You and Donghwan sat towards the front, you shivered a bit as a cold wind blow around the area blowing some of the table cloths around. Donghwan noticed and draped his jacket over your shoulders fixing it to cover the exposed skin and pulled your hair out from under the jacket and laid it over the front of you. You smiled at him a gave him a quick kiss on the lips. “Thanks, I thought it would be a little warm out since the sun is out.”

I wanted gifs but a lot of them are the members together and not separate gifs and the separate gifs I did find are..well extra lol. BUT I WANTED GIFS AND IF THEY GET PEOPLE TO READ MY THINGY THEN SO BE IT LOL. They’re so chaotic I found them like two years ago on the clock app and I didn’t know who they were until later. No but they’re all so very cute Taewoong is bofie and skskskkks ‘Close Your Eyes’ slaps both song and choreo I highly recommend :)
