Fan spent the next days as she had before Ani came into her life; cleaning her family home, preparing meals, and sewing. Only now she was seeing her wedding dress, pieced together from ornate gowns from her past. She too heard the rumors, but did her best to act as though nothing was wrong. But deep down, she feared the worst.
The Hope of the Rebellion
@fan-maddson
Anakin moves through the snow heading for the rebel base that Bail had told him about before the man had been killed when the last base was destroyed. Anakin had been in hiding since the fall of the Jedi Order—since the death of his dear friend Padme Amidala. He tried fighting back but was quickly becoming overwhelmed. So he ran and hid.
But with the death of Bail…he realized he couldn’t hide any longer. At least physically. As a Jedi he would still hide but maybe one day he’d have the courage to step forward and ignite his lightsaber.
The betrayal of Obiwan was still strong in his mind and heart, making him weary. The man had been his best friend…like a brother. And the man had thrown that away and nearly killed Anakin when he had tried to reason with Obi.
He soon reached the door and knocked, the password on his lips already.
“Yes?” A rough voice said as a slot opened.
“As the moon grows dark so does our courage rise,” anakin said, speaking the code, “Bail sent me before his death.”
There was almost a hesitation until the door opened and he had a blaster trained on him.
“Walk. Don’t take offense. We don’t trust easily and only after you’ve been cleared,” he said.
Anakin nodded. “I understand and I do not take offense.”

Bad For Good
"Father, I really don't see why you want me to see how the Senate works," Fanndäs sighed, her elegant dress trailing behind her. "I dont plan on becoming a Senator like you."
"You need to see this, dear child, because you need to know who is on our side," he whispered pulling her close. He knew he couldn't say more, not with the amount of security the Emperor had in the Senate now. And there was rumor to be a powerful apprentice under the Sith Lord, not that anyone knew what either of them looked like. Not without their Sith garb.
"Stay close, and mind your words," he instructed.

“Probably,” she laughed, “but I feel like he needs actual therapy. To say he’s been through the wringer is kind.”
Bucky stared at her. He knew her. It had been so long since he had laid eyes on her.
As he stood in front of her, memories flashed before his mind's eye.
" I know you..."

“Fair enough,” Erik smiled. It was hard for him to live by the strict rules of the Empire, so he was grateful the young man reminded him. “If by chance I don’t see you later, Cal, thank you again. I do hope your shift goes well.”
The Scraps
Cal sighed to himself quietly as he walked to the train to prepare for his day. He’d take the train as normal and begin his day in the yard. As he approached, he noticed someone new. It was a man taller than he was by maybe an inch, and dark hair. He appeared more serious and clean cut that anyone else but he was in a scrappers uniform.
Cal normally keeps to himself, but he could see the man appeared nervous. So he sighed once more and approached him.
“Hello…new here?” He asked kindly.
The train doors opened and they both stepped inside. Cal had no way knowing that the man used to be a senator and was hiding just as much as he was from the Empire.

“Until then, I must say I enjoy the thrill of our moments; finding reasons to see each other, to steal touches and glances in plain view of others,” she purred, fingers sliding under the waistband of his trousers, gliding towards the front to unbuttoned them.

Jim hummed as he pulled her close against his body.
“How was the med bay today?” Jim asked her as he gently rocked with her, as if dancing. “Bones didn’t work you too hard did he?”
He stopped swaying and kissed her softly. He treasured these moments they had together. They were so far and few between. Not for the first time he wondered what life would be like if they could truly be open? Would they have a house? A few kids?
He wanted that badly with her.

“You’re too kind,” Fannie offered softly, looking to her parents. “Perhaps we should marry tomorrow evening, so we can celebrate and relax before we leave?”
Sanctuary
@fan-maddson
Anakin Skywalker had hidden on this dessert planet about five years ago and was presumed dead. The empire never reached this far, and he felt relatively safe despite he harsh climate.
But a sand storm was pounding on his small home, and even the nearly underground conclave wasn’t safe. He grimaced as he pulled his cloak tighter. He normally would be inside, but the wind had uncovered some of his machines and he was attempting to recover it.
“Hello!”
He blinked and turned sharply to see three huddled people pushing through the wind to him.

Fan did her best to busy herself, helping Beru and Owen. Well, as much as they would let her. The twins had grown so much since she’d gotten to Tattooine, and they were worried she would over do it:
“Please, there has to be something I can do to distract myself,” she finally asked Beru after dinner. “I can’t stop thinking about that dream I had…”
Fool's Journey
@fan-maddson
Leia moved with purpose, the book in her arms wrapped in cloth. She was on her way to one of the empty quarters where Fanndas, Luke, and Han should be waiting. The empire was winning and they had all lost so much already.
They’re only hope is to travel back in time and try to stop it from happening. They had to save Anakin Skywalker and stop Obiwan—the father of her and Luke—from becoming Vader. Palpitine was too strong and so was Vader.
She slipped inside and the door closed behind her. She saw her team around the table.
“This is all I could find but it gives us a start,” she explained, setting the book down.
She of course had no way of knowing that it wasn't Obiwan or Vader who was their father. She also had no way of knowing that doing this would ensure their birth in the past...but maybe it could still change their future.

As the days turned to months Fans desire to see her beloved grew, as did her desire to see her home. She did her best to hide it, knowing his mother missed him dearly as well. But she enjoyed hearing stories of him as a child, in return telling her stories of their time together.
fan-maddson‌:
“Fan, you seem anxious,” Padme noticed. “Is everything alright?”
“Yes,” she smiled sheepishly. “I’m just not used to being without the protection of Pa-Master Skywalker.”
Padme smiled. “Yes…he is a Master now isn’t he? It seems like only yesterday we had found him on Tattooine.”
And she had seemed to fancy his company then, a young child herself. But now, after all this time spent with Obiwon–whom she calls Ben in private–has seemed to adjust her feelings.
And she knew in her heart that Ben was beginning to feel the same.

“That’s all,” she asked, her faced etched with astonishment. “Thor, you speak as though these are things everyone does. What you’ve been through…you deserve much rest, and to be waited on as you once were. I…do recall the garments the chamber maidens once wore. If you like, I can dress as such,” she smiled softly.
Thor had roamed for so long. Lost adrift after the loss of Asgard and the loss of his father and brother.
He had looked for Fan but so much had happened. He wasn't sure she had survived the Snap. And then after things had been set right, he ended up traveling with the guardians.
He always wondered what had happened to her and if she would want to see him again.
With the help of his friends he was able to find out that she was alive and well.
That was how he ended up standing outside her door.

Fan nodded in understanding as Anakin spoke. She knew the word was wrong the moment it left her mouth. And she was keenly aware there was no freedom in the empire, not even for him.
When Anakin kissed her she placed her hands on his shoulders, returning his affection. She could feel how much he wanted her, and she hoped he could tell how much she wanted him.
Lady Vader
@fan-maddson
Vader didn’t like this idea and he didn’t understand why Sidious was insisting on it. Why should he marry and create children with this woman? This…senator? Could it be her family’s possible ties to the rebellion? She seemed to have distanced herself from them recently…did she know sidious’ plan already?
But again. Why did Vader need to marry her? Sidious spent so long on his campaign that screamed ‘Vader is not human, fear him’ and now he was about to ruin it. Why now, Vader didn’t understand. Jed been with the man for years now—first as a slave child then as a slave to the sith. So he really had no choice in the matter.

Fan stayed close, unsure about the new surroundings. She’d never been in such an environment, and feared she would stick out.
As they sped across the desert she found it odd people would choose to live in such an inhospitable environment. The beasts were things of nightmares, and the heat was unbearable.
Sunrise

Bail smiled when he saw Erik and Sassa arrive with their daughter. He hadn’t seen them since the rise of the empire, and had missed them. He was glad they managed to finally arrive here after hiding and running from the empire. The resistance was at a stalemate, waiting for their next move. But it was one of the safest places they could be right now.
His eyes took in Fan. She had grown into a beautiful young woman. He gave her a small smile, knowing how hard Padme’s death had hit her.
“Bail,” Erik greeted. “It’s great to see you old friend.”
He nodded. “Indeed it is. I hope the travel wasn’t difficult? Hopefully you’ve kept safe.”
“We have,” Sassa cut in. “We are glad to finally be here though.”
“Well let me show you to your rooms then I’ll also show you around the compound.”

“I’ll consider it,” she promised. “But you’re right. We need to prepare for the twins. I’m afraid they’ll come and we won’t be ready.”
The Impossible Mission
@fan-maddson
Luke moved quickly through the cooridor. When he reached the escape pods, he slipped inside of one where he wasn’t surprised to see his twin sister Leia and Fanndas waiting for him. He smiled at them, a bit apprehensive.
“Alright...I have everything. We just need to get to Ilium to perform the ritual,” he explained, “this will take a lot of force power...there’s no telling what will change if this works.”
“I’m hoping we can save mother, Alderaan, and so many others,” Leia said strongly, “too many have died.”

Fan was caught off guard by Anakin’s touch, by the way he looked at her. It stirred passions in her she never knew were there. “Husband, why do you look at me in such a way,” she asked softly.
Lovers
@fan-maddson
Anakin followed Padme to her parents’ home, wondering how long they’d be there. He enjoyed his time with her, but felt like...his memories of her didn’t quite match. She was still beautiful but he feels like he placed her on a pedestal as a child. And being older meant he was a little more mature, and the age gap between them seemed to glare at him.
She was twenty-four and he was only nineteen. She was a woman with more experience than he had to offer...and he was a Jedi. Jedi are not meant to know love. So for years he’d been conditioned to forget her and move past his infatuation—and that’s what he now realizes it is. But strangely he felt drawn to her in some way...as if she was part of his destiny.
Padme smiled and hugged the two children who ran out to her with a laugh. “My you’ve both grown so much!”
Anakin smiled at them, happy she was happy. And safe. She was a friend of course.

"Are you truly alright with leaving him here," she asked, not wanting him to feel as though he had no other choice. "I could stay, so you may continue to keep Luke safe." It would break her heart, but she couldn't stand the thought of Anakin leaving Luke behind because of her.
Hidden in Plain Sight
@fan-maddson
Anakin moved about the mechanical bay, working on a droid that had been dropped off for maintenance. It had been five years since the hall of the empire and he was doing what he could to stay hidden while providing for himself and Padme’s son Luke. He still felt betrayed some from the reveal that she had not only been married to Obiwan but was also carrying his child. A child that turned out to be twins.
Leia had been sent to live with Bail and his wife, and he had taken Luke when he took refuge on Tattooine. Originally he considered handing the child over to his stepbrother and his wife but when he went to just speak, he was nearly chased off the property. Somehow he was at fault for his own mother’s death. So he slipped away and started a job at this mechanical place while living nearby with Luke. Luke was a happy four year old now and full of energy and questions. Ani tried his best to satisfy the curiosity but avoided hot topics like his own mother and father. Ani knew he wasn’t ready to know any of that.
“Hey Ani?” A voice called.
He pushed out from behind the droid. “Yes, Monique?”
“I have a gentleman here having issues with his droid. Wanted you to take a look at it,” she told him. “Do you mind?”
He shrugged. “Sure…just give me a minute.”

Fan offered him a soft smile, taking his hand. "They will come for any children I bear, won't they," she asked softly, knowing they would be strong in the force and alert both the Jedi and the Empire.
The Arrangement
@fan-maddson
Erik looked his daughter over as Sassa fussed over her hair, weaving it into an ornate style. The parents were unsure of the future, but proud that their daughter was seen as beautiful and strong enough to be married to the hero with no fear. They weren’t blind and knew that children were the reason for this arrangement—as she was strong in the force yet not a Jedi.
They only hoped that their daughter would find happiness, even as she loses each child she has to the Jedi Order.

"I'm sure the council is pleased. Surely this means Master Obi-Wan will no longer need to be by his side as he continues his duties...it will be another Jedi Master able to take on a Padawan, yes?"
Forbidden
@fan-maddson
Anakin knew he was in trouble the moment he and Obiwan went to meet Padme about guarding her. And it wasn’t because of what most would assume.
Yes, Anakin had been excited to see Padme again after so long. But the moment he stepped in and his eyes strayed from her, they found another young woman—closer to his own age. With one look he swore the force snapped to her, almost bodily moving him across the floor towards her.
Never had he felt such a bond form. And not with anyone either. He hadn’t even heard of this and it both excited him and scared him.
And this is why the moment he officially met Fanndas Naberri, he was lost to her. No other woman mattered.
