Also a small doodle of Toa bc I love him. It was a very slow day today so I got to doodle a bunch hehe. I wanted to add Peyton but I felt just giving a muskox to Hyrja in a dystopian world felt kinda out of place. Instead I gave her a mini van that she named Peyton because I feel like it fits more yk. Im happy to have the excuse to draw Hyrja as a Hockey player bc it fits her so well.

2. Kell: By the way, you know that guy I went on a date with before your coma?

Aiden: Yeah?

Kell: Yeah, we were supposed to go on another date literally the day you got into the coma, so obviously I was like "dude, I can't make it, my friend is having a literal medical emergency", and he was like "okay, I'll just break this off here then, bye".

Aiden: Oh nooo. Did I cockblock you with my coma?

Kell: You literally did!

3. Aiden: I'll make it up to you. I'll wingman you so hard. I'll introduce you to literally everyone I know.

Kell: Isn't that, like, the entirety of River Bay?

Aiden: Almost, yeah. So you're bound to find someone.

Kell: Dude, you did not win again.

Aiden: Sorry about that. I was sleeping.

Aiden: Doctor's orders.

Peyton: Ah, of course. Totally reasonable.

6. Aiden: But don't worry. I'm back in my element.

Peyton: Do I want to know what that means?

Aiden: It means I'm ready to annoy the fuck out of you and text you every millisecond 24/7.

Peyton: Okay, I can get behind that.

7. Peyton: how are you doing?

Aiden: Great.

Peyton: "Great"? Really?

Aiden: So great. How are you? Are you still working at the mall?

Peyton: I quit impulsively a few weeks ago. I should probably get a new job if I want to be able to pay rent, but, eh. Video games are more fun.

Kell: If you're evicted you can move into Sam and Aiden's closet, I hear it's pretty empty nowadays.

Aiden: Totally.

8. Kell: Peyton, you're good at connect 4, right?

Peyton: I'd say so.

Kell: Help me win. Please.

Aiden: Who's cheating now?

Kell: There's no rule that says you can't have someone help you.

Peyton: Don't put it there. One step right.

Kell: Here?

Jordan: Just what?

Jordan: According to Kell's accounts you were simultaneously in love with him?

Sam: Attracted to. There's a difference.

Sam: And how many successful relationships have you had?

Jordan: Well... I've certainly had relationships, I can tell you that much.

12. Sam: Don't you get tired of talking to new people all the time? How do you even find so many people you're interested in? I did it once and now I'm marrying him so I never have to do it again.

Jordan: It's easy if you're drunk and have very, very low standards. It also helps if you're fresh off a 13 hour shift at a hospital.

Sam: That sounds awful.

Jordan: I don't necessarily recommend it.

13. Sam: But you keep doing it.

Jordan: I suppose I have nothing better to do after those 13 hour shifts.

Sam: I'm so glad I dropped out of med school.

Jordan: You should be.

14. Sam: I'm just going to get some water.

Jordan: Okay.

15. Lucas: No, I had to do it because Michael thought it was "rude".

Michael: It was.

Lucas: If I pay for something, I want what I paid for. That's not rude. If I fuck someone's tattoo up I'd fix it.

Michael: You can't compare a meal to something that's permanently on someone's body.

Lucas: You agree with me.

Peyton: Oh, yeah.

Lucas: Exactly!

16. Peyton: Hey, Sam. How are you doing? Sleeping better?

Sam: A little.

Peyton: So... while you're here... Aiden.

Sam: Yes?

17. Peyton: He's acting... suspiciously normal, isn't he?

Lucas: Right? I literally told Michael the same thing ten minutes ago. This is the way Aiden always acts after medical emergencies, he just pretends everything's fine.

18. Sam: It's been a month. Things have gone back to normal, he's not pretending.

Lucas: No, sorry, no offense, Sam, but I don't think you get it. You weren't there all the other times he had to go to the hospital because of drugs--and that shouldn't be plural, by the way--this happens every time.

19. Lucas: He says he's fine and that he's clean now and then he just waits until people stop asking him about it and we're back at square one.

Sam: This was different though.

Lucas: Just because it was worse and because he maybe went through a tiny little bit of withdrawal while unconscious doesn't mean he's magically better.

Michael: Lucas, please.

20. Michael: You yourself said that there's nothing we can do.

Lucas: Well, we can't exactly force him to do anything but there's a difference between overcaring and pushing him away, and being so passive it turns into enabling.

Michael: I agree, but I don't think that has anything to do with Sam.

Lucas: I didn't say it does.

21. Lucas: I just don't want him dead, that's all.

Peyton: I seriously doubt any of us want him dead.

Lucas: Exactly. So we can't just trust that he's better because he says he is.

Sam: That's not what--[Sigh] I don't think it's fair to talk about this behind his back.

22. Lucas: I'd love to discuss this with him directly but he makes it pretty difficult. There's a reason he didn't want to talk to us for a fucking month.

Sam: Maybe it wasn't deliberate. Maybe he was just recovering from a coma.

Lucas: But he was talking to literally everyone else during that time, wasn't he? It's not a coincidence he ignored me, Michael, and Peyton specifically.

23. Sam: I... I don't know his motivation. And either way I don't want to be involved in this.

Peyton: That's fair. I didn't really mean for this to be a whole discussion.

Lucas: Sorry. Look, my point is just... if he's clean, that's fucking great. But I kind of doubt it. Just... keep an eye on him.

Sam: I always am.

The Solar System Legacy Challenge: Happy Birthday Zohreh Gen 1 pt.56

Kason and M spent all night and early that morning getting setup for Zohrehs toddler birthday party. The duo stand around admiring their work.

M: Do you think we need more balloons?

Kason: M stop worrying. Everything is prefect. Do you need help relaxing. I’m sure we have some time.

He kisses her neck knowing it’s her weak spot. She giggles pushing him away gently.

M: I doubt it, we still have to get the kids ready. All of them.

Kason: I'll grab the girls. You can take Ish and Zohreh. Oh and I want to talk to you about something later.

M: Is everything okay?

Kason: Everything is fine M, I wanted to ask you about the new book is all. Wanted to see how it’s going. Don’t worry so much.

M sits downstairs with the boy's while Kason handles getting the girls ready for the day. She gets Ishtar ready and sets him up to stack blocks. She takes Zohreh and puts on his favorite yellow pajamas. She leaves him upstairs on the playmat to check that everything is in place as guest start to arrive.

Finally underway Mercury leaves Kason downstairs to deal with introductions and heads back upstairs to find Zohreh lying in the hall with a sleeping comet. She scoops him up and takes him into her bedroom and sits with him cradled closely. She gazed at him lovely committing his Kason green eyes and tiny identical nose to her own to memory.

M: How are you growing up so fast Zoh? I feel like just yesterday we found out we were having you and now you’re crawling and waving, clapping and talking. You’re practically a man! I need you to slow down little guy. Your brother and sisters have already gotten too big too fast. Mommy wants you to stay little a little while longer. Okay?

Zohreh: ma..ma..babah

Zohreh smiles and blows raspberries while babbling at M. Her heart warms. The child she thought she could never love had won her heart over and over again. She could hardly remember the fear she’d felt back then, and whenever she was reminded she felt ashamed. She knew now that she would do anything to ensure his happiness and his safety.

M: I love you my little sun.

The guest of honor joins the party. Immediately the family gathers around while M helps Zohreh blow out the candles.

EVERYONE: Happy Birthday!!!

Everyone has cake and Zohreh opens his presents. While opening the one from Winter and Peyton Zohreh turns to Winter

Zohreh: Tuck? My tuck?

Winter: Yeah Zoh, your truck. Wanna try it out?

Winter reaches for his truck but Zohreh isn’t ready to share.

M: Whoa Zoh what’s going on? Auntie Winter just wants to see it.

Zohreh: My tuck!

M: Yes my love your truck.

She checks the cranky toddler as he rubs at his eyes.

M: Are you sleepy Zoh? Sleepy?

She imitates sleepy to him and he follows

Zohreh: Sheepie.

She picks him up, taking him upstairs for a nap

M: Say bye-bye Zohreh.

Zohreh: ba-ba

He says to the room sleepily as M takes him upstairs to his new bedroom. She pulls back the sheets and tucks him in.

M: A little nap for my big guy. Sleep tight buddy.

Anyways this year I decided their party theme would be movies which.... well, I came to regret it when I realized I couldn't cop out and give them simplized fits but it's okay we love a challenge !!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll put all the movies and whatever under a read more but anyways yeah Happy New Year bye.

Kieran & Kenny - Funny Games (1997) - Kieran as Peter & Kenny as Paul

I've watched Funny Games US several times over the years, but only recently saw Funny Games '97 for the first time. Both films are great and fresh on my mind, and I feel like this was Kenny's vibe (not the murder part, just the excuse to dress up as a horror character) and Kieran is just along for the ride.

Connor & Peyton - One Cut of the Dead (2017) - Connor as Director Higurashi & Peyton as Nao

One Cut of the Dead is another movie I saw for the first time recently (just a few months ago !) and I instantly fell in love with it. I was wracking my brain for Con&Pey and eventually was just like, hey, I like this movie, let's do this. And with it debuts Peyton WITHOUT her hair dyed, which I genuinely don't think I've ever done ?? No promises it won't be dyed again next time but idk !! I like brunette Peyton.

Dani & Don - The Breakfast Club (1985) - Dani as Claire & Don as Bender

The Breakfast Club is one of my all-time faves and it felt correct that it's the movie I chose for these two. Plus, they canonically love the film. Featuring, for the first time in my life, Dani without what kinda became her signature purple. We're shaking the goddamn table or something probably. I think she looks cute as a redhead <3

Isa & Em - Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991) - Isa as Bill & Em as Ted

Bill & Ted, one of my favorite franchises. How I love thee. I don't really have an explanation other than Isa & Em would ALSO love these movies and so that's canon now I love them.

Trent, Nancy, Nathan, & Cara - A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), A Christmas Story (1983), The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) - Trent as Glen, Nancy as Nancy, Nathan as Ralphie, & Cara as Columbia

Now this probably killed me the most since I tacked on TWO extra characters, who kind of got a soft launch in Nancy & Nathan's picture LAST year (Though I did post a sketch of them on my Insta a few months before that). Trent (beside Nancy) and Cara (beside Nathan) are Nancy's co-workers !! Nancy and Trent's relationship is just ? because they have beef but not really and maybe they're into one another but not really ?? Who is to say. Doesn't help that they're in a couple's costume. Cara is Kieran's little sister and she is the nice one between her and Nancy/Trent. Nathan just hates to be in that damn bunny suit but it's the life he lives and we love him for that.

Anyways that's it I love my characters bye.

Dawson, Lucas, Dan: ranking from best to worst with a couple of words on what makes one better or worse than the others.

All three being the pretentious nice guy archetype

The ranking can be about them being a better character or you liking them more. Your choice

(I don't know why I love Dan and despise the other two)

I don't know why when I saw Dan, I thought you meant Dan from OTH and I was like, why would Dan be in this? And then I had to be like OH, they mean Humphrey!

So, this is an interesting question... I think I have to work out how I feel about them first.

The thing about how I view Dawson is that yes, he's insufferable, yes, he's self-centered, yes, he pisses me off but he is the most human character to me out of all three of them? Like, I knew Dawsons in high school (except it was white boys and their music and their guitars and not movies)

Dawson really is that teen boy and he acts like he's fifteen/sixteen/seventeen etc. which actually makes me less hard on him than other characters (and less hard on a lot of the DC characters in general) because I just feel like I'm watching an actual insufferable teenager, like I feel like I'm watching actual growing pains, of course the issue is that Dawson doesn't change.

I also think James Van Der Beek managed to convey something that Chad physically can't do (unless he's across from Sophia) even though Lucas is supposed to have that same quality as Dawson just more brooding

Dan ... oh, Dan. The thing about Dan other than the fact that teenage Zal loved Dan is that he actually has some charisma because Penn is charismatic, that's how come he had to tell everyone in season 1 of You that Joe, the serial killer, is a bad person. It's just Dan's charisma is pretentious, sardonic charisma where Penn's delivery can be very dry but also very funny but also, Dan, you're an ass, and the chip that he does have on his shoulder that comes out in sarcasm actually makes sense in the context of things that he had to put up with in school and from the other characters. Plus he can have self-deprecating humour in at least the delivery if not the actual dialogue

and despite the fact that he is actually a terrible writer, which is one of my favourite things about Gossip Girl, he does love "culture", he does love art and literature and cinema and music in a way that doesn't make me want to punch him in the face. And when we get to see more of that side of him it's in relation to Blair who challenges him about his taste so it actually comes across as less pompous because he's getting shit for it

Of course, the more the series goes on, the worse he gets as a character.

Lucas is ... lmao. Oh, Lucas. So, the thing about Lucas is that he's terrible. LOL. And the show actually does acknowledge his faults to a certain extent except it's not framed as faults with the character, it's framed as mistakes he made

because it's supposed to be the hero's journey of Lucas losing his way and then finding it again so he's fundamentally meant to be this kind and loving and compassionate good person

and it's like, Lucas, you cheated on Brooke with her best friend and when Peyton was like, I really need to protect my friendship with Brooke, you slept with Nicki despite waxing poetic about how much you loved Peyton then you left town without saying bye to Brooke or Peyton and just wrote a cowardly letter, YOU COULDN'T EVEN GIVE THEM TWO SEPARATE LETTERS then you came back to town and started dating Anna who lives next door to Brooke only to realize that you're in love with Brooke who is sleeping with Anna's brother, so you break up with Anna then go over to Brooke's house RIGHT NEXT DOOR to confess your love and then don't and then you do confess FIVE MINUTES BEFORE BROOKE IS LEAVING TOWN then you spend so much time pursuing Brooke and telling her that you love her but then you actually supposedly love Peyton and then you break up with Peyton because she wouldn't marry you, get drunk and try to sleep with Brooke and when that doesn't work, you get engaged to your editor and are actually going to marry this woman even though you're supposedly cosmically in love with Peyton the entire time????? You are a fucking MENACE. LEAVE WOMEN ALONE.

Not to mention the slut shaming and the "I can fix her" attitude and Chad is too... Chad

to be the kind of soulful, brooding, poetic, profound, conflicted hero Lucas is meant to be so he looks disingenuous outside of the sweet/sincere Brucas scenes and a couple of moments with Haley, so Lucas is kind of just like a pedestrian fuck boy and we're supposed to pretend otherwise?? And that makes him hilarious to me but also annoying?

Summary: Peyton needs a little help from Brooke to create something special to tell Lucas her big news.

"Don't forget to tell Nana Karen, Andy, and Lilly I say hi! I love you guys, bye!" Peyton smiled, waved, and blew a kiss to her phone as she closed out her FaceTime call with Lucas and Sawyer. The time difference was tricky, but they still tried to talk to each other twice a day.

She felt so guilty for not saying anything to Lucas whenever they spoke. Every time he called, she almost filled the pause before they said their goodbyes, with her big news but something was holding her back. The first time around they were 2,500 miles apart when she told him the news over the phone and now they were 8,500 miles apart. She wanted to make it as special as possible this time and wanted to see his reaction in person since she honestly did not know how he would react to their previous scare.

"B. Davis, what are you doing tomorrow?" Peyton asked Brooke who was always busy on a Saturday, but not too busy to cancel her plans to help out a friend.

"Oh, Victoria has this brunch with a new vendor scheduled at 11 AM, but why she scheduled it for a Saturday is completely unknown and completely unfair."

"Ahhh... Leave it to Victoria to never give you a day off. I swear, does that woman even sleep?"

"No, and I'll tell you what, I always thought vampires slept during the daytime, but I guess it's true they require no sleep at all" Brooke laughed.

"No problem, I was just going to see if you could help me..."

"Yes."

"Brooke!"

"No, you just saved my Saturday! Victoria can handle the meeting. She's the one who scheduled it! What do you and my niece or nephew need my dears?"

"Ha..." Peyton chuckled. "I need your help to make a jersey for Sawyer. Want to come over at 11? Have our own brunch?"

"Yes! Anything for that girl... but it would be easier if you came to me. I have everything I'll need in my office at the casa. Sound okay?

At 10:45 Peyton hopped into the Comet and drove over to Brooke's house. They quickly got to work.

"Need a coffee?" Brooke asked as she got up from her sewing table to stretch and give her hands a break.

"Ahh I wish, but the one-cup-a-day rule" Peyton sighed as she pointed to her stomach.

"Brutal." Brooke shook her head and smiled.

"By the way, how did Luke take the news?" Brooke asked.

"Well, this is actually how I'm going to tell him..." she replied.

"Very cute and also impressive being able to hold this in for so long. I'd have to tell Julian the second I found out. No way I could keep that kind of secret."

"I know, I know. I feel so nervous and guilty every time we talk and it's not that I want to keep it a secret, but I want it to be special and in person. Not when he's halfway around the world."

"I get it and I'm sure he will too." Brooke put her coffee cup down at her desk and picked back up right where she left off.

"You never told me how your doctor's appointment went..." she said to Peyton who was flipping through a magazine.

"Oh..." she paused.

"Well, I haven't gone just yet, but I made an appointment for the week Lucas and Sawyer get back. They offered to get me in right away, but I didn't want to do that without Luke so until then..." Peyton swallowed hard and took a deep sigh.

"Well until then and even after!" Brooke said positively sensing her best friend's nervousness, and held up the miniature-sized Ravens jersey. She turned it around to reveal: "BIG SISTER" with the number 2.

Caffeinated Drabbles #1 - Hobie Brown

Heeeey, my name is Koko and I want to start posting more on this account till I feel confident enough to post my artwork. Till then, imma be posting little drabbles everytime I’m too hyped up on caffeine or my insomnia kicks in (which is going to happen a lot seeing as I live off little sleep and my blood is black coffee XD)

I recently went to a black veil brides concert and it got me to thinking about Hobie Brown and potential songs to use in Hobie Brown x reader fanfics.

Ok so I just recently watched ATSV like last week (even though the movie has been out since June) and I fell in love with the cockney rhyming spider-punk. However wished the directors had included more punk rock music with the little screen time Hobie got. In Hobie’s dimension, Earth-138, it’s the 1970s and the punk rock genre just started in Hobie’s city of Old York. Now if we do more historic punk rock bands of the time I can imagine Hobie liking the Ramones, The Buzzcocks, Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedy, you know the obvious. Punk rock bands that made an impact on the beginning of the genre’s creation/revolution. However it got me to thinking about other songs from different genres that could fit Hobie’s ideologies or just him singing it for the heck of it. I’m a fan of rock and metal, I grew up with the genres so I can think of several songs that I could see him possible rocking to or even performing cover songs.

After a night of steamy passion, Luke wakes up alone without Ryu on the other side of the bed.

Luke looked at the other side and felt the cold spot on that side of the mattress.

He started to reminisce about the night he had with Ryu, seeing him smiling and feeling his lips press to his, and feeling the velvety touch on his lips.

Feeling Ryu's body covering his, being in his loving embrace.

Jamie asked him about his night with Ryu, At first Luke was taken aback by that particular question but he answered Jamie's inquiry about Ryu.

Luke pressed the end of the call and turned it off, he got out of bed and walked out of the bedroom to get himself ready for the day.

you coerce peyton to finally tell you xer life story and why their so anxiety ridden and scared, and xe tell you its because their parents neglected xem and sat xem with babysitters instead of caring for their wellbeing. instead of feeling empathetic, you tell them their backstory is boring and shes overreacting, and that, at least their parents got their babysitters! she had rich parents that got her everything she wanted, and she's complaining becuase they didn't play with her?

after your rebuttal, they start to think xer life is just an over-exaggeration, and tells you your right, and that they should be quiet and just be happy they have a home that their parents pay for, even if it is a dingy studio apartment. they should be grateful. you realize your mistake and take into consideration how xe act without thinking, but when you try and apologize, they say 'no, no, its okay. im talking too much. bye.' and leaves the date, cutting off contact with you as to not further annoy you.

Ostown Mischief.

*It's a beautiful day in Ostown and everyone is having a great time.

Clarabell is baking a pie in her house, Moody the pirate is playing with little Sophina the Furrydactle, Gremlin Prescott is playing with his wrench, and Goofy is playing with two Cutiesaur kids.

Everything seemed to be going well.*

*In Mickey's house Telephone was asleep but then out comes Peyton the Cutiesaurolophus.*

Peyton: Hello Telephone!

Telephone: Huh? Oh hello Peyton. How are you today?

Peyton: I'm doing alright.

*They have a long conversation for a while but it eventually ends as Peyton leaves*

Peyton: Well enjoy your nap Mr. Telephone sir.

Telephone: Thanks kiddo, See ya later!

Peyton: Bye bye.

*She leaves Mickey's house and goes to play outside for a while*

*As she's playing around, her younger sister Vexy the Cutieraptor comes along to play with her*

Vexy: Hi sis!

Peyton: Hey Vex!

*The two sisters hug each other*

Vexy and Peyton played hide n seek with each other for minutes.

*As they're playing little Peyton notices Gremlin Prescott heading over to Mickey's house, she then gets an uneasy feeling but shakes it off for now.*

*Vexy notices that Peyton hasn't found her yet, she goes and investigates on where her sister could be.

She then sees Peyton staring off at Mickey's house as if something had grabbed her attention, she then walks over to her to snap her out of her daze*

Vexy: Hey. *Taps Peyton on the back*

Peyton: *Turns and faces Vexy* Hmm?

Vexy: *Concerned expression* You okay? What's wrong?

Peyton: Nothing, I'm okay.

Vexy: Are you sure? You were staring over at Mickey's house.

Prescott: *Eyes widen in surprise* Someone left a present up in that safe for Me?

Telephone: Yep and it's all yours.

*As Peyton sits quietly at the door listening to their conversation, Prescott opens the door.

He notices Peyton sitting quietly in front of him as she stares up at him.

Prescott doesn't say a word and just stares back at her.

Peyton eventually turns around and walks away leaving him alone, Prescott then makes his way towards the safe dangling above the Gag Factory but not before playing a little game with Vexy.*

*Peyton then goes inside Mickey's house and talks to Telephone.*

Peyton: Telephone are you okay?

Telephone: Well I managed to get Prescott off my back just a minute ago but I'm good. Can't promise that I'll still be in tack after he comes back.

Peyton: How come?

Telephone: Well he threatened to dismantle me.

*Peyton thinks for a moment and gets an idea.*

Peyton: I got an idea, I'll take care of him.

Telephone: What are you gonna do?

Peyton: You'll know.

I cannot overstate how much I appreciate Harley and Karilyn. it is currently 10:40 as I begin writing, I'm standing outside waiting for the word to turn the main power switch to the house back on, and they are still here helping us out. Harley went home last night, but Karilyn has been here for like 32 hours at this point

Karilyn is having to run a whole new breaker for the washer, turns out that the wire that used to run to the washer in the laundry closet was cut & never pulled out of the wall, while the breaker that was labelled "washer" actually goes to the four plugs on the right side of the kitchen - we think that the far part of the kitchen that we assumed was an addition was actually a laundry room, and they never relabeled the breakers once they expanded the kitchen and relocated the laundry plug ins. Peyton and I were able to help some by fishing the guide line through the joists (through several new holes in the drywall ceiling), but she has ultimately done 90% of the work. she also patched the leaky spot on the sunroom roof earlier today, while I swept the rest of the roof

Paige got more of the kitchen unpacked today, and Peyton unboxed, stamped, and shelved a box of books in the media room. we were hoping to be able to let the cats out to explore the rest of the house today, but the cutting holes in the wall and running new wiring is both more complicated and more time consuming than we initially expected. I took a shower earlier, but I have since been covered in a thin layer of drywall dust. patching all those holes is a next weekend project

we also said bye to my parents today, they headed back home, unfortunately without the pew that Mom wanted, but it will simply live in our garage for the next few months until they can come up again, hopefully during a time that it's not forecast to rain on half of their drive home. aunt Clovis came with Penny to look at the house, and Peyton and Paige gave her the tour. Dad and Paige hugged goodbye, and he hung up the sign she got for my parents as soon as they got home, he sent me a picture of it, so I think we've made some great progress there

Paige and Karilyn and I went to breakfast at WaHo (Peyton was grouchy after having to get up early to drop off the uhaul with me so he stayed home and slept more), Paige got some provisions from the grocery store, Karilyn and I went to Home Depot (Harley later had to go get more wet patch, and Peyton and I were sent out for a breaker, resulting in three total trips to two separate home depots), and Harley and I went to Krispy Kreme before my parents got here so I could send them on their way with roadtrip donuts. this day is all out of order in the retelling but that is okay, I've gotten plenty of pictures and some new stories for the eventual scrapbook project, and we solved more problems than we discovered today, so I'm counting it as a win
