been considering posting psychonauts 2 predictions of my own bu ideas and thoughts are passing thru servers at the speed of sound so i fear them getting lost in fanon hivemind but let it be known:

ford cruller is The Mole and will betray like everybody by using raz as an injectable into HQ (”I’ll be a psychic stow-away in yer noggin!”) and holds some sticky keys to their stickier business because his shit just Has Not added up from the beginning, i cant remember if i posted abt that specifically but it has to do with that sneezing powder loboto had in his arm and Suddenly FORD has it and the dentist GONE and then RoR starts

and SPEAKING OF LOBOTO: maybe a more minor prediction but im betting his whole deal with his amputated arm is almost definitely related to a nautical excursion of some kind, because while his mindscape is seeped with a bunch of nautical and sailor shit he seemed explicitly adverse to being on a boat ever (”I don’t have to go on a boat, do I?”) SO. wots the deal with the apparent maritime fixation then? and what kinds of ways are there to lose a limb on a ship?

my first thots were he could have had it torn right off in a freak accident, maybe to do with those massive ten-ton anchor chains on huge vessels? but that mightve been like.... too quick an ordeal to leave that kind of impact that hed sooner swim with one led arm than be aboard a boat ever again. so whats the other horrible thing that can happen on a boat, then? SUPER fucking obvious i wanna hit my forehead realizing it like a week ago cause lol being on a boat in the middle of the ocean is a unique hell in an of itself all its own WHEN YOURE STRANDED WITHOUT FOOD. OH THE THINGS MAN IS CAPABLE OF WHEN STARVING TO DEATH.

also if we ever find out how oleander lost his eye (after he tells a different, wilder story each time asked) it is the complete opposite hardened survival baddassery and was the result of a meat-hook accident when he was like 20 and slid on frozen blood or something similarly stupid and embarrassing :/
