WIP Wednesday

Bc I'm excited to finally have something to share for this.

These are both from my incoming Obikin fic! But from separate parts. I was planning to upload it as a one shot but it is getting long so I will post it in chapters as soon as I have a name for it. (I just prefer chaptered fics)

“Gonk gonk” a voice, that was definitely not his droid, says. Obi-Wan stops his hand from where it was hovering over the console. The droid makes some sounds again and the voice, the boy, answers “gonk gonk gonk gonk gonk.” Obi-Wan turns his seat slowly. Is this guy really talking to his droid by saying gonk?

“There are no Jedi anymore.” Obi-Wan says, feeling, for the hundredth time, his chest caving in itself when he says the words. They have stopped in front of a door, and Bail looks at him with sadness.

“There may be no Jedi Order, but the spirit lives on. Your compassion, how you strive to do good and help, that’s what inspires all of this. You would be surprised at how many Jedi fans there are between us, Anakin the biggest of all.” Bail says with a sad smile. “We have no Jedi with us, but everyone says ‘may the force be with you’ when someone leaves for a mission. Please Obi-Wan, think about it.”
