merlin being sick or injured and unable to join arthur when he goes on a Special Mission and merlin sends lancelot to look after arthur and make sure he doesn't do anything stupid. merlin waiting for days, tense, stressed, and worried out of his mind. arthur's a big boy, he can fend for himself. but he's so stupid, he's gonna get himself into trouble. lancelot will be there to look out for him, he'll make sure nothing bad happens. bad things happen to lancelot too, what if lancelot can't protect arthur? oh damn he just tore the tunic he was mending. anyway merlin is Stressed and is on the verge of rushing out of the castle to find arthur and make sure he's still alive. actually he's already packing. no, wait, no he shouldn't, but arthur, alright he's going, no he should stay, but arthur could be in danger and- oh! arthur waltzes in all dirty and tired and alive. merlin can't help the wide smile that stretches across his face of his exclamation of "arthur!!" arthur blinks at the utter joy in merlin's expression and voice and is helpless to stop the other man from drawing him into a hug. though....it's not that bad, he supposes. merlin's actually rather good at the hug business. maybe. he doesn't know, it's not like he's hugged anybody often. or at all. maybe like twice as a kid. is this just...a normal hug? has he been missing out on this all his life?? wtf this shit is amazing. maybe especially from merlin. not that he missed the idiot's prattle or anything but it was dreadfully boring without him

wahoo! my uncle had heart surgery (thankfully dodged the open heart surgery bullet) and so far things are looking alright, so I’ll be taking the weekend to just. do stuff. and then get caught up on emails and whatever else starting monday!

#I tried making a post about it earlier this week but I could not turn off the customer service sounding voice I kept slipping into #so I ended up deleting all of that but the tldr of it is that my uncle had a heart attack and the first attempt to place #stents didn’t work and the day after he went into cardiac arrest and they had to do cpr on him for 20 minutes #and I’ve spent a lot of time hanging out in the ICU for obvious reasons (visiting) but it looks like #attempt 2 at stents went well tho! provided everything is still looking good over the next few days 🤞🤞🤞

I wanted to share the tattoo I did yesterday!!

I really enjoyed the process🥹🫶 My “normal” art is generally a lot more detailed and time-consuming than these fanarts…something I genuinely LOVE is just spending lots of time focusing on the small details & forgetting everything else.

I’m overall really happy with how this turned out, I’ve been practicing A LOT😳 but even so, pork skin isn’t the same as a living, breathing human. I think this design might have been a BIT too complicated to be my first one but oh well…I learned a lot and pushing myself off the deep end is always how I learn best😆😆😤🙏

at a skating rink and i thought about valgrace so

valgrace except leo is a pro skater. he can spin around and practically just dance while on wheels but jason? he cannot skate for the life of him.

so leo takes jason’s hands, tells him to bend his knees and find a balance, to find a rhythm in the music and just let go; feel it. jason does, of course, after they skate in their third circle because in reality, he’s been distracted by leo and his bright smile. jason catches the way leo sways to the beat, mouths the lyrics if he knows the songs but brown irises are kept on him, forever him.

it’s in that moment, jason falls in love with leo.

i am wide awake thinking about that post canon jb au again when I should be sleeping …!!! such is the nature of the jbrainrot…

Hate to feel like my friendship is a precious and limited commodity that I have to carefully dole out to the most worthy recipients but. It is and I do.

#calculating whom to text this week bc i have to save one hang slot for my friend who's about to move ...#like oh i can do one of those girls i've been meaning to hang with but not both. and then there's my other friend who's about to move #and my one friend just got back from africa #and the one who had a baby might be socializing-ready again soon #(again this is why i don't follow more people and also why i'm cutting down on my following.#even my nascar tires are getting worn out too fast. many more people are deserving of love and attention #than I have love and attention to give #and that is in the hands of the Lord #this is maybe also why i've been more and more enjoying friendships that happen in brief trips and encounters!#the relief of being with someone for a whole weekend or week and that's all there is to do #and then we can leave each other mostly in peace until the next time #instead of having to constantly work at fitting one another in around the corners of normal life)#i know this is a problem many of you would desperately wish to have #and i'm praying for some of my wealth of cool christian women in my area to get spread to you
