Wariowares mainstream cos it's nintendo but the reason i think it's never become a nintendo forerunner is its titles have 1) always been experimental and 2) always had a big flaw. I think it's the best for warioware itself like I think its cool experimental stuff is awesome but I think that's why it's just never blown up. Most games this can be focused on the fact that despite it being designed gloriously, a collection of tilting minigames is not ...worth a full game price, for example. Even gold the ultimate standout to me is like. It came out as the literal final major 3ds title. Add to that the massive cast and lack of overarching story/recognizable tropes and I feel like it's the perfect storm for people to play, think is cute, and forget about
