Apartment 3D: Coulson-May Residents

Partial lease owners of “The Zoo.” Philip James Coulson and Melinda May-Coulson have been married for 10 years and known each other twice as long. They are both social workers and have been foster parents to few of the residents at “The Zoo.” Right now they are fostering three girls, Michelle Jones, who likes to go by MJ, half sisters Alison Blaire and Jean Grey. All three girls attend Natasha’s dance school and go to Midtown STEM High School. The girls love their husky Lady Wolfie they adopted from the pound. They are close friends with the Starks, as well as really close with everyone who lives in their building. When it came up for sale years ago, they went in half way with Clint Barton, who got back up from Pepper Potts.

Michelle “MJ” Jones has lived with Phil and Melinda since she was 6, now 16, she calls them Pops and Ma. Her best friends are Ned Leeds, Peter Parker, Katie O’Conner and Wanda Maximoff. She loves dance but she loves reading. She is on the decathlon team at school with Ned and Peter. She volunteers at the Stark Veterans Foundation and ASPCA on the weekends.

Alison Blaire is 16, and came to Phil and Melinda when she was 4 and her sister was 5. Alison is very artistic and intelligent just like Jean. She loves to write and paint to get her feelings out. Katie is one of her best friends along with Jean. She hangs out with Kate Bishop when she isn’t at Dance, or she’s learning how box over at Castle’s.

Jean Grey, 17, feels like she has the world on her shoulders sometimes. She took her sister and ran away at just the age of 5, with just the clothing they had on, her Disney Princess backpack and stuffed animals in arms. Jean can still remember life before Phil and Melinda and it haunts her sometimes. Jean has hopes of either being a ballerina or a fashion designer one day, and both Phil and May believe in her. She hangs out a lot at Reyna and Katie’s apartment, has since she used to babysit her and her sisters. Jean loves Michelle and Alison.

Sunday night we went out with Rhiannon and her friend Katy to a cool underground bar (and by underground I mean that it was both under the ground and designed to look like a tube station in the 1940s after the war) called Cahoots! that was very fun. The lights up in Covent Garden, Oxford Street, and Carnaby Street are very cool – especially the one that have the lyrics to Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” above it.
