Let’s face it, atleast for me season change to winters brings along dry and flaky scalp and dandruff for some time as my body tries to accomoate with the changing weather. So I look for anti-dandruff shampoos and oil my hair and try different remedies to cure it. In the quest I have tried The Body Shop Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo and finished it. My Experience about The Body Shop Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo:

The Body Shop Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo comes in a semi-transparent brown colored plastic bottle with flip-open cap which closes rather tight that you might fins it difficult to open. Bottle is bulky so I like to transfer it in travel-friendly bottles for my travel scenes.

The Body Shop Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo is transparent and quite runny. It lathers pretty well and smells mildly of gingers and apparently I’m not a fan of smell. It spreads easily and washes all the dirt and grim and gives squeaky clean feeling to my hair and scalp. This shampoo gets rinsed off pretty easily. It removes oil from my pre-oiled hair really easily.

It is not SLS/SLES free and if I wash my hair with this without oiling then it dries out my hair-ends making detangling a tougher job. I have long hair and i can not depend solely on serum or just any conditioner to make detangling easy for me when I am using this shampoo on non-oiled hair so following with good conditioner becomes a must. It works great in combating dandruff and hairfall that comes with dandruff.

The Body Shop Ginger Anti-Dandruff Shampoo has become my favorite anti-dandruff shampoo ever since I have used it. It reduced the dandruff and hairfall associated with dandruff. It contains SLS as 2nd top ingredient that implies that it can be drying on hair and it is. If I follow it up with good conditioner then the problem is solved. If you are suffering from dandruff and looking for alternative to head & Shoulder 😉 , then this is why I suggest you to try.
