You know, there's a few people on the outskirts of my life who think they know a lot about me.... I'm fake, I think I'm perfect, I'm this, I'm that.... And I'd be remiss to say it doesn't bother me....of course it does. I AM human. But it doesn't bother me or damage me to the extent they intend.... I know who I am and the people who genuinely know me and love me, know the truth about me. I sure have made a LOT of mistakes in my life.....as have these people. The difference is that I have used these mistakes to learn & grow as a person. I'm proud of me & the life I've created. Is it perfect? No! Do I wish things had gone differently? Of course! But I don't live there, in my past, with the hurt & anger. I very easily COULD! But I choose to focus on building what I want, not what I had, not what I lost, not what I wish had been different. It IS what it IS. Move forward, learn, grow, love, DO better. THAT is the meaning of life. Not sitting back and passing judgement.
