I hate how ppl think goth and pop culture horror are the exact same thing. Halloween and spooky aesthetics are tangentially related to goth but also are not interchangeable. printing chucky or pennywise on a sweatshirt isn’t inherently goth. pumpkins printed on a polyester dress from shein isn’t goth. broomsticks and “witchy bitch” signs from homegoods is not goth in the literal sense. there’s a difference between shopping at spirit Halloween and listening to Bauhaus
