OKAYY sooo rant time!!!

So, like, no one even follows my Tumblr anyway, but like I had to get this off my chest because it’s been like bugging me for EVER, I get that like a lot of people love Stephen Stotch and there’s literally nothing wrong with that cause he’s like a fictional character but you know sometimes artists like draw him as like this IMP devil thing??

And like I hadn’t seen that anywhere in the actual show and it confused me because it showed up in art of him A LOT, and then I realised that it’s probably supposed to be that demon esc monster thing from the imagination land trilogy that butters thinks up!! And.. IDK it sorta rubs me the wrong way you know?

I might just have crazy butters autism but isn’t that supposed to be like the physical manifestation of how butters fears and views his father as like a super crazy evil thing??? The that lion asked him to image the most prominent thing in his head and THATS what popped up! Idk it feels wrong to sexualise the physical manifestation of how a child feels about their abuser💀 it reminds me of how in morel Orel people would sexualise orels version of clay which was portrayed as the wolf… it just feels icky to me

Contrary to popular belief, I don’t think butters would be considered a loser in high school, while he is a bit nerdy and artsy, in both future timelines he’s either the manger of a super restaurant or an insane douche crypto-bro, that along with his arc as Mantequilla implies that he’s is a good leader and he probably wouldn’t let himself get pushed around as much as he did when he was a little kid, he probably wouldn’t be that popular but I think he would make friends quite easily and stand up to bullies! Though I do think the idea of him having braces or glasses as a teenager would be quite cute!
