Welp.

I hope you are enjoyed fireworks where you are. As you know, this city doesn’t like them for some reason. Probably because it would be too exciting. Or fires. I don’t know.

I just slept for over 4 hours. Not my proudest day, but it was really hot. As I dreamed, I had a nightmare where I walked in on my cousin killing her friend (not you, it was bob). Do you know how scary it is when a little girl is chasing you with a knife? Part of me wondered why I was even running, I shouldn’t be afraid of her(except for the knife part). But maybe today’s events subconsciously replaced you with her in my dreams, and I am actually running from you. 

I have a month left to build your present, but I wonder if every item I chose will have meaning to you. I wonder if you understood the significance of the 12 elephants, the owl, and the yak. Is there anything sadder than an artist whose message is completely missed by her audience? (Well, she could be poor and not have rich parents.) Still, I’m sure one of these days you’ll figure it out. Or maybe you have, but are just too busy to respond. I won’t make any assumptions. (Well I do assume you read these.)

Anyway, nobody asked me to spend 30 minutes of my day writing my life to you. And you are plenty loved already. One more drop in the sea of your popularity. It’s fine though. I’ll continue to badger on. (I wrote soldier, but somehow it became badger, I’ll leave it though. Are badgers stubborn though? From Redwall, all I know is that they are murderous unstoppable berserkers.) I’ll continue doing this until I don’t know. I find someone better? I lose interest? The world ends? All those sound like unlikely events to me. Though if I become disinherited, I might focus on surviving as a homeless person a bit more than writing on Tumblr. (I ain’t immortal, woman).

If this sounds like rambling to you, I blame the fact I was recently watching Archer. That show makes no sense, and the humor is exactly my style.
