At first, he thought it was the world that didn’t make sense. 3 characters i like: basically all of them but let’s go lori, lucas, jose (listen sometimes you are 12 and you’re only into small & evil characters and you tell yourself “i’m going to love them for the rest of my life” and you gotta mean it otherwise you’re a coward). only reason c6/adrian isn’t here is bc she’s the title character and that matters to me.3 characters i dislike: von reichter. that one dude who bossed julian around. goblins just fuck em.an OTP: ummmm i died for c6/lucas. but also grizelda/c6 cuz cuz i’m a tragic bitch.a NOTP: i guess lori/adrian??my favorite scene/chapter/quest/etc: okay i’m gonna cheat, cuz there’s actually a lot. okay the very last scene, with jose and the recording of von reichter, mostly bc it HAUNTS me i want to know what the fuck it was supposed to set up and i will NEVER know how messed up is that. second the c6/lucas scene where lucas and cybersix are talking in the apartment about the coppers looking for her and lucas is like “let me help!!!!” and grabs her hand and she just smiles and leaves anyways. imagine the slowburn if we had even more episodes.......incredible. that scene i really liked the idk the atmosphere? shading?my overall opinion: listen sometimes you are 12, and you watch this cartoon and you’re fascinated and you hit “the final confrontation” for the first time and you go wow!!!! can’t wait to see what happens next!!!!! and then the next day dutifully you watch the show but it’s the first episode again, and you’re confused but you go with it, and before you know it you’ve watched through the series innumerable times and your sisters just want to watch smart guy on family instead for once but you refuse. and when you go to your dad’s you pick up so much dog shit and do so many dishes to earn computer time and you spend all of that computer time desperately googling the show and learning anything you can and going over the same bunch of sites that don’t even exist anymore and your stepbrother has to do a check on google images for you and goes “okay be careful on page five there’s a hinky pic there” and you’re a good kid so you dutifully avoid the hinky pics, even tho you’re a little bit curious, and you cried when you first heard that it was getting a dvd release. anyways it’s all right.

5 characters i like: most of them especially now that i’ve read most of the manga (characters like jounouchi/anzu/honda/ryou i appreciate a lot more now) but it’ll still be like. kaiba, mai..........rex mako weevil i’m beggin you sue me5 characters i dislike: that fucking baby you know the one he accounts for all five characters i despise. the baby should have died. kaiba could have killed the baby and everyone would have agreed with him.3 OTPs: yami|atem/kaiba fucking duh. mai/ishizu but it’s gotta be like, mai goes up to ishizu at some point like “hey i like your future reading scam” and ishizu refuses to talk to her until the slowburn kicks in, that’s the ideal! joey/rex but i’m valid and ten years old and no one can ever criticize me. shout out to gx’s jaden/chazz tho3 NOTPs: i can’t think of anything that’s visceral tbh. i think there’s a bit too much joey/kaiba but i’d still read it if the characterization was intriguing enough.my favorite installment: dm by default (the only other anime installment i’ve kinda seen was gx when it was sometimes on, i know a bit about zexal cuz i’ve followed ppl who loved it), but the pre-duelist kingdom part of the manga holds a fiercely special part in my heart now. luv your recaps btw took me the longest time to realise that was you!!!!!!!my overall opinion: when i was small me & my sisters would watch it all the time (i might have instigated most of that?) to the point where a) mother bought us all these toy duel disks for christmas once and we had a handful of cards we might have bummed off a stepbrother and i might have cheated against my sisters when i made them play with me b) mum had actually memorized the basic rules of the game, bless her soul she had to put up with a lot. i’m wicked glad i had the passing thought to check out the manga and got back into it again.

5 characters i like: jason fucking duh, pamela who i am married to, reggie the reckless of p5, megan from p6, julius from p8, shout out to chewie from the reboot. actually also shout out to martin the cemetery man bc there are no ask meme cops to stop me.5 characters i dislike: that one psychiatrist fuck from p7. whoever that one supernatural guy played in the reboot he was boring as shit. tbh too many of the characters are forgettable i can’t fill this up.3 OTPs: don’t fucking tell anyone but there’s this comic i’ve never been able to read cuz it’s hard to find and also expensive when you do, but jason and leatherface bond and it ends tragically and there’s a rose involved and just reading about it sounds sweet. pamela/me we co-mom. i guess i’m fond enough megan/tommy cuz of the part where tommy is like “don’t do anything stupid :(” after she’s shoved his head in her lap and is speeding away from the police.3 NOTPs: mmmmmm jason/that bitch freddy i guessmy favorite installment: the final chapter is best if you’re looking for a classic slasher but part 6, jason lives is the first one i ever saw and is also just overall the strongest i would stake my life on it. the reboot and freddy vs jason get shout outs for the good jason content.my overall opinion: i love trash and i’m grateful to all my followers who didn’t follow me for f13, you all put up with a lot.

These were all things that Makoto had dreamed of, ever since she was a little girl. She had grown up on her mother's knee, listening to stories of her fairy tale-like wedding, a story that charmed her even now.

Even after her parents were both long gone.

After their sudden death, Makoto had been passed between relatives for several months. She got used to this, got used to being shuffled between relatives, each of them making up an excuse as to why they couldn't look after her anymore, why they were handing her off to someone else. Over time, Makoto came to understand that they viewed her as a burden.

She took this to heart, and as a result, she closed off her own.

Finally, she ended up with a pair of relatives- she no longer could recall exactly how they were related to her- that wanted so little to do with her that they went out of their way to buy the middle school girl her own apartment. They weren't exactly lacking in funds, but in spite of having ample amounts of money with which to look after a child, they had no interest in raising a girl who had already been pegged as a delinquent and a trouble child.

In a sense, Makoto supposed she was grateful. Having her own place finally allowed her some freedom. Here she could do as she liked, cook what she wanted, decorate how she felt, and even buy as many wonderful and cute plants as she wanted.

But something had been missing.

No, RSM only started it and I’ll never play it for myself. It looks like it has moderately clunky movement and even if I liked mystery stuff, clunky controller movement bugs me.

what's your opinion of the chapter black/sensui arc

I NEED TO WATCH THE ANIME VERS OF IT STILL but as far as on my manga read-thru it was like. it was pretty good but i felt rly lagging in the beginning/center. towards the very end was when i was finally getting rly invested. i also have... very mixed feelings on sensuis how split personality thing, even if i rly enjoyed sensui himself as a character a lot

the negative view of humanity from sensui and the treatment of demons was rly the most interesting part of that for me imo!
