Alright, gonna answer these for each of my favorite girls rn! Fear response: - Clarissa tends towards a fight response, though her lashing out leans pretty heavily on the verbal side. If she can't befuddle or enrage you to get out of a situation, she'll at least have distracted you long enough to punch you or have a proper plan to get upper hand. - Rose has more of a flight response. This serves her well as a medic, since she needs to stay in one piece if she wants to be able to patch up anyone else. She will, however, contemplate whatever just happened as soon as she's away, and almost always concocts and enacts a very thorough plan to get back at you. - Agnes tends to freeze, or at least make herself small. since she is rather slight compared to the others, this has served her well in many scenarios. (Her boyfriend finds this absolutely adorable. They watch horror movies together sometimes, and he thinks she's so cute when she curls up into her blanket or pillow when there's a jump scare.) What others are surprised to learn: All three girls were kidnapped together by a Mr. Barlow, and kept for about a month or so where he tortured them for "relaxation" every day. There was one week where he only focused on Clarissa, and the vibes were pretty weird the whole time. (It kinda makes sense to the others, given how much he got riled up when she would insult him.) - But at some point after they are rescued and well into the recovery process, Clarissa does let slip why exactly that all happened, and Rose and Agnes are absolutely horrified. 😈😉 (Unrelated, but she also speaks French pretty fluently for some reason? No one really expected that, and it kinda catches her team off-guard when they capture one of [Supervillain]'s goons, and even though he's French, Clarissa is able to understand and get information out of him just fine] - No one expected Rose to actually be squeamish about something. Turns out, she can stomach just about anything, wounds especially, unless it is an injured small dog. She has a fair bit of trauma surrounding the death of the family dog when she was little, and seeing a dog of similar size injured still turns her stomach. Cats? Fine. Hamsters? Fine. People? Fine. Big dogs? Relatively fine. Just small dogs are a problem. - Since Clarissa and Rose have been friends with Agnes since childhood, they aren't very surprised about this, but other characters are. Agnes is a surprisingly good shot. Her father enjoyed hunting, so he taught her to shoot from a young age. She never liked going hunting herself, since she felt for the deer too much, but she did enjoy shooting targets. She never joined a team to fight [Supervillain] like Clarissa or Rose did, because she couldn't stand the idea of actually killing, etc. However, after the whole whump situation with Barlow, she may just be able to handle it enough to join one of the teams! Who knows! 😉

thinking thoughts about year of whump. the way i don't know if i want to write a fic every week but i do want to write my ocs every week. no one wants to keep up with someone else's random oc content but like. what if it was a group thing...... a spreadsheet with all the prompts and people could link to their oc ficlets for each week.......... like a book club but for original fiction ficlets............. just thinking............
