if there is one thing I could get rid of it would be having to send emails
#cystali's fumblings#I spent#like forty-five minutes#drafting an email to a professor#because I sent them an email during the summer and got no response#then sent follow ups#no response#went to their office once campus was closed and they weren't there twice#only teach one class on campus#so I figured I should email again because I need this thing solidified by this week#and I purposefully didn't mention my other emails#because I didn't want it to be accusatory! I don't feel that way#I'm just tired and need their help to accomplish this thing#so I need to make sure they know that the thing even exists#because there was no response#but then this response that I did not open fully yet#starts with “Well I didn't know that you had an interest...”#and I am afraid I was offensive ANYWAY because I mentioned that I had been to their office a few times and had been unable to connect#but I wasn't Trying to be#but you have to understand how much googling and chatgpting about email etiquette I did about this godforsaken email before sending it#and now I have to open it
