my dream Christmas Eve is genuinely cooking all the Polish wigilia classic dishes and some experimental ones for select friends and family, I have a spouse and children. We’re gathered around the piano singing our hearts out. Everyone brought something small to do a lucky dip and the children have some proper gifts because I’ve never known presents any other time and I’m not letting that tradition go soon. Everyone is joyful and silly

#I rly rly rly want to do Christmas but don’t want to be around the family I was born into #my aunt has started serving meat and tempura veg/prawns at wigilia. this hurts me #creating new traditions is fun. breaking them upsets me #but yes I defo need a spouse who can play piano #rip that could’ve been fin. he loves to be one of the most unreliable people Ive ever known
