okay i’m back on writing this fic and it’s about 6600 atm, with still quite a bit to go, but i’m really nervous because it’s looking like it’s gonna be about 8k words, and the last fic i wrote that was about 8k ended up being my least successful cornley fic.

#do i know that that fic didn’t go well because of the length? no it could be a variety of things #but yeahhh i’m slightly worried about ut #and like. obviously writing what i want how i want is more important than trying to cater for readers (especially with fanfic)#but. yknow. it doesn’t make you feel great when a fic doesn’t get as much engagement as you’d like.#also i should mention that i mean successful as in. in comparison to my other fics.#not successful as in there being any sort of set definition for what qualifies as a successful fanfic yknow #does that make sense. possibly not.
