Going on the Ao3 subreddit makes me such an annoying contrarian like. Fanfiction is a hobby and it can be serious but it's also a hobby. Oh you don't like it when people use emojis and think it means the author is young and immature? Idk maybe one day there'll be an insane emoji hieroglyphic fic that veers so hard into irony it starts to become unironic. Oh you're completely rinsing someone for saying they format their fics exclusively in italics? Well you know what, that seems like a fun challenge! Maybe that's the vision of the author! Maybe the paragraphs of slanted words is the point! Suggesting someone to not write an April Fool's crack chapter because it breaks immersion or whatever? Well you know what else seems like a fun challenge? Idk man for a creative hobby let people be creative and break the unofficial rules! Y'know for a subreddit dedicated to transformative fanwork it doesn't seem very open to, y'know, harmless transformation of existing fanfic norms.

Maybe people won't read what you write but you can write whatever you want. Forever. I love you Unconventional Formatting I love you Metafiction.

Thank you!! 1) I used to think it was not that novel of an idea to want to crochet every Pokemon, but I've come to believe that it is actually not as common as I'd hoped. I am always searching for other people doing the same thing, and there's less than 10 I've found but as far as I can tell none are as far along as me. But also finding stuff on the internet is harder than it used to be, so there could be so many more people out there crocheting all the Pokemon and I just can't find them! (Honestly, I can't even find me and my own Pokemon that I've definitely crocheted when I use more generic search terms and search results in general are low quality anyway) 2) Thanks!! when you make pierogis, take sour cream and mix a spoonful of chili crisp in it (the sour cream neutralizes a lot of the spice so don't be scared of chili crisp's passion and beauty,) then use it as a dip or spoon it over the pierogis. especially good when the pierogis are pan fried and crisped nice n golden so that the cream contrast the crunchy.

Hi, um I have a Chorus related question! I was wondering if you have any plans for updating the web page? I know you have a pretty busy time rn, and it says that website is under construction, so I really don't mean to rush you. I just couldn't find the info about it, and reading Chorus on web is my fav place to read it <3

Hi, originally I had no plans, but seeing as you're the second person to bring it up with me I feel like I SHOULD do something about it!

For some context, the website I currently use to host CHORUS (https://arsquare.art/manga/chorus/#p1) is a website that a friend built for me completely from scratch. I put in a lot of requests for what I thought a good web manga reader should have ("it needs a dropdown chapters menu!! you need to be able to scroll through it by pressing arrow keys!! if you click the image you should be able to see a bigger version of it!!") but the part that kept tripping us up is the update function.

Long story short I couldn't directly edit what went onto the website, everything is placed in a Google Drive that the website periodically checks (every Tuesday and Friday at Some Time), and because it was built from scratch there were a lot of peculiar issues that kinda popped up with it (old pages not updating even when the Drive file is changed, busted queue system that I can't pause or schedule, etc. etc.). My friend had just been working on it for fun, and when she got busy with her job I didn't really have the heart to bother her about it.

ANYWAYS all this to say that I've updated the Drive folder that all the images live, so whenever the website does the Tuesday-Friday weekly update all the pages should be up!!

I can certainly try to keep things up to date on the website to the best of my ability, but I suspect I might be an update behind every so often.
