shoutout to the British people in my phone, the way you write and words you use make me think of my year in the UK and even though I wouldn't want to live their permanently it was nice so I sometimes do miss it

#cylas speaks #it's a very strange kind of... homesickness? though probably also heavily influenced by nostalgia #but yeah I miss Sainsbury's and Tesco express that was just like a five minute walk and the announcements in trains and self checkouts #however. i do not miss not having proper bread and no Currywurst or Fleischwurst.#but custard creams my beloved. and crumpets. there is a hole in my heart.
