I haven't woken up before 2:30 for the past week+ so being awake rn is not feeling great
#tbh tbh the best hours are from like 11 pm to 3am but it can be shifted to midnight to 4am if i'm feeling funky fresh#like I like skipping morning entirely you know... being up before noon is my kryptonite#in general I like sleeping through as much of the day as possible then I have to be awake for less of it <3 you know#but when i CAN'T FUCKING SLEEP -_- .... why are we here? just to suffer#every day I wake up exhuasted#honestly I think the fact that it isn't completely dark in my room is the problem idk why I got so sensitive to light#but within like the past 2ish years i suddenly need it to be Pitch black#like I cover my eyes with my pillow case to try to make it darker but it's really limited success ๐#i can't even blame it on having black out curtains freshman year bc i was fine that summer?? I feel like it's just been since I came home#bc of covid??? but i didn't have black out curtains that year? maybe it's just bc I didn't have like any light exposure past the afternoon#and bc I really only had buildings outside there wasn't any city light that came in through the window#idk tho ๐ญ i had a lottt of trouble sleeping at home too and if the light in our yard is off it's Dark#and i made sure that bitch was Off pretty much every night#altho I think my problem at home was more that the light would wake me up ~9-11 which are Bad Hours for me#bc my room faces east so I get Full force of the morning#seriously might invest in black out curtains for home...#but maybe if I could stop being so sensitive to light I would be FINE -_-
