There's a really specific tone people use to describe John and Paul's body language or how they looked at one other and it always sounded so strangely familiar and I FINALLY realized it's how CNN used to describe Obama and Biden back in ~2014

#it's got this vague professionalism but also very schmaltzy #lots of gazing in each other's eyes and close embraces and lingering hugs #what's funny is the implication with John and Paul is that they're in love so you get why people are so interested --#but with jobama we were all just so starved for good news out of the Obama white house that a loving friendship was newsworthy by itself #i do think it would be really funny if in ~60 years a massive jobama fandom existed online writing beautiful stories about them #though I also live in fear of the mclennon girlies finding the trump/kim letters #I'm sorry but neither of those men is allowed to be sympathetic no matter HOW gay you make them
