it feels there is more effort going into selling TTPD as a product than there was making TTPD into an album
#like there is making a bunch of songs and then there is making an album#like at one point Taylor was an artist who created a distinct sound and aesthetic and story with each album#and for me she’s not doing that anymore#but wherever it’s coming from there is a feverish constant effort happening to continue to sell this album#regardless of how well it is recieved or it’s quality#I guess I feel this with the TVs too#fearless tv was sooooo well made and crafted#I know there were minor issues but they were more about taste#whereas I feel like the quality has declined on each TV#and it sucks because I want to love th TVs#I don’t want to feel like this!!!!#but I do and here we are#obviously none of this matters compared to other conversations that are happening rn#but like isn’t her job to be an artist????????? not to sell albums!!?????????
