i really can't stand the animation of new spongebob tbh
#i wish hillenberg's wishes had been respected and the show had ended but nah it's too much of a cash cow for nickelodeon#it's gone the route of the simpsons 🫡#but where the simpsons' animation has become more stiff and family guy-esque over the years spongebob's become *too* expressive to the poin#where it doesn't feel like the same show anymore (not to mention the writing)#circus jangling#sorry i'm watching a compilation of squidward screaming (don't ask it was in my reccomendeds) and half the clips are from modern spongebob
