big dogs. the bigger the better. especially mastiff types. or like those mountain/shepherd dogs that protect livestock.
#sometimes you'll see certain types of right wingers mock civilization#and they'll compare the wild wolves to like a chihuahua#making the argument the civilization basically degenerates the wolf and makes it weak and pathetic#but whenever i see that kind of argument i always think of these livestock guardian dogs#and how they kill wolves all the time#they are often bigger and stronger and more fearsome than wolves#like yeah civilization can fuck your shit up#but it can also create some impressive specimens that transcend even the best the wild has to offer
