ATTN: Just popping by to say that if you are purchasing the new kits today - particularly the Urban Homage kit - be sure to use the creator code "EBONIX" at checkout!
Collab creators do not make any percentage of the revenue after release, they're just paid a flat rate up front, so if you want a little of the proceeds to go to the creator, use code "EBONIX" at checkout (it costs you nothing!!!). Also worth noting that because they had some issues with codes in the app today, creators will apparently receive 10% commission instead of 5% commission the next 48 hrs. (LilSimsie shared this in her overview video!)
Again, code "EBONIX" at checkout. Support black creators!

idk if i'm just a joyless feminist buzzkill or something but i find the instareels/tiktok trend of joking about "when the workday starts feeling like women fighting for equal work was a mistake" "women in the past fought for equal opportunities and now i have to go in the office when i could be staying home to cook 🙄" so DEEPLY unfunny. leaving aside that housewives work equally hard it's just unpaid, also leaving aside how the idea that women never worked and just tended the home is ahistorical--Women's financial independence is a joke to you? Women being able to choose their own life path instead of being forced to rely on men for survival is funny? Go talk to a woman who couldn't leave her abusive husband because she had no work history and no way of financially supporting herself and I think you'll find it significantly less amusing.

Guys, I'm literally begging you to not make me the "Um, actually" guy right now.
Atlantis is not and has never been a real actual city.
There is literally no historical or anthropological evidence that it ever existed. It was an entirely made up city that Plato created to illustrate his point about the very real threat of political corruption and how if left unchecked, could lead to the absolute devastation of an entire nation and its people.
It's also a fucking Nazi conspiracy theory. I shouldn't have to explain how "a secret advanced ancient civilization whose people were inherently superior and able to dominate all of the Ionian, Aegean and Mediterranean seas" is an absolute red fucking flag.
I'm going to jump out a window omfg a;lsdfj;alkgja
Here's a fun video for anyone who is still doubtful that explains in more depth how fucking bonkers the Atlantis conspiracy theory actually is.
I promise ACTUAL Greek history is extremely fascinating. Please stop buying into literal conspiracy theories, I'm going to lose my fucking mind.

actually getting into yuri makes you realize that the notion of yuri being made for straight men who fetishize lesbians is a misconception. while yes, there might be some yuri that's problematic, a lot of it is just regular love stories between two girls. some of it is more lighthearted, some are more realistic to the experiences of queer women. there's lots of yuri actually aimed at girls and women (such as kase san which is a shojo and run away with me girl which is a josei. revolutionary girl utena, one of the most popuar yuri, is shojo).
and a lot of yuri fans i've seen, including myself, are queer women who find themselves represented in the genre. as an aroace lesbian i felt truly represented by yuu koito from bloom into you and himari kino from whisper me a love song. there's a lot more positive representation than you think in the yuri genre. you just have to look

Some of you need to use your brains for a second on the Neil Gaiman accusations. You can talk all you like about how the accusations are "awfully convenient", the facts remain that:
a) by his own admission he had sex with women who were decades younger than him, and one woman who he employed. even if everything was legal, he's still a creep
b) he wrote the story "Snow, Glass, Apples", which went into extreme detail with the incest and pedophilia- with the father (as opposed to his six year old) being portrayed as the victim.
c) false accusers are incredibly rare, and several women have come forward on this
d) Neil Gaiman undoubtedly has a gigantic legal team, as most famous people do. why would you choose to open yourself up to a very easy lawsuit by printing false stories about him? and hence hurting your entire career/reputation as a journalist
Yes, obviously look at the evidence when more comes out. But in the meantime you have a moral responsibility to at least take women's accusations seriously. And a good chunk of the people I see reacting to this aren't meeting that bar
