Summary: You are a famous actress who was dating Gerard for about 2 years, but you haven't turned your relationship public yet, because of all the issues that this could bring to your career. However, you both were hired to some Comic-Con, and you don't know whether or not this is the right time to tell'em about it.
- Word Count: 1.290
- Warnings: Big age gap and anxiety content!
- Ps: I'll not use y/n…
- Ps2: I'm brazilian, so english is not my first language ... sorry if i wrote something wrong.

1st Person POV
When we came back down from the stage, the amount of people asking questions around us left me stunned, and I can definitely say that Gerard wasn't at all comfortable with the situation either. I've never been one to avoid interviews or shy away from cameras, but I think the last time I was approached like that was when I was cast in a superhero movie.
Hand in hand, we walked past the crowd of people and got into the car, leaving them with no answers.
- Holy shit! They just got crazy there. - A relieved laugh came out of my mouth when I looked at the window, seeing a lot of people outside - At Least they weren't throwing things at us.
- Yeah. - He took a deep breath, but you could see in his eyes that he was still quite dizzy. - Are you okay?
I nodded, although I was thinking about how we would deal with this in the next few days. I know that in a week or two people will forget about it and our lives will go back to normal, but still.
- Are you? - I asked with the kinder tone I could do at that point.
- I'll be, just need to sleep. - He smiled and started to drive. - I’m exhausted.
- Do you want to stay in my place? - considering that my house is closer, I think it would be logical for him to stay there. - My bed is big enough for the two of us.
- I'd love to.
*** time skip ***
We fell asleep cuddling, and when I woke up, still in his arms, I grabbed my phone and checked the absurd amount of mentions involving our names on all social media. Things like “such a cute couple” made me smile, but there were more “They’re using Gerard for hype” or “Ew! that middle-aged guy knows how creepy dating a person THAT much younger?” than I thought that would be.
My heart raced as I scrolled through the posts and saw that it was getting worse and worse. Far from being okay, I turned off my cell phone and began to think about how Gerard would react to this. A hot tear ran down my cheek and I held his arm tightly, trying to calm down.
Was this a good idea? Was telling them really a good idea? There were a lot of people talking shit about us, but it wasn't as if we didn't know that this could happen; on the other hand, there were people defending us and being very kind.
When Gerard finally woke up, we went to the kitchen and had a coffee. I didn’t know how to tell him, but I couldn't hide it from him either. This anguish was gradually consuming me, but I tried to feign naturalness in all my movements, wanting to avoid any questions at all costs. If the subject did come up naturally, the best thing to do was not to appear shaken by the comments, even though I was, and tell him to do the same.
- So… about yesterday… - The question I was most afraid came faster than a bullet - have you already seen people’s reactions?
Before answering, I took a deep breath and felt my eyes fill with water again. With the cup of coffee in my hands, I took a sip and concentrated so as not to let the fear overflow with more tears.
- Babe?
He didn't demand answers, but showed concern when he saw that I was about to break down right there in front of him. Without saying another word, he came close to me and comforted me in his arms. After a few seconds, he broke the silence.
- I knew that this was gonna happen… But I'm here no matter what, okay? - He hugged me tighter and all I could do was breathe heavily, attempting to feel some kind of peace. - And we’ll be fine, nothing’s gonna change between us, sugar.
A gigantic weight seemed to have been lifted off my shoulders when he finally said that. the lump that had formed in my throat loosened enough for me to confirm his statement.
- You promise?
With serious features, he looked deep into my eyes, causing the environment around me to become blurred and without hesitation he said
- I promise.
I swear I tried to erase everything I read from my mind, but my stomach churned again and with a trembling voice I blurted out an empty argument:
- But the people-
- I don’t care at all, babe, and you shouldn’t either! They’re just frustrated ones that can even write the swearing right!
Without even realizing it, I let out a giggle. He makes me feel so good, even in my worst moments.
I turned off my phone and didn’t look at it for the whole day, so we spent the day together. We talked about Gerard comics and he helped me go over my lines. Everything went so well that I even forgot everything that had happened in the morning, except of course for the promise that nothing would change. When I realized it, it was already late at night.
I was in the kitchen, making dinner, when I heard footsteps getting closer. I keep my eyes in the pan to not burn it all, then I notice when the sound stopped.
- Babe… - Gerard was standing in the beginning of the hall with a bottle of hair dye in his hand. - Do you think I should dye my hair black again?
- If you want to…
- I'm asking what YOU think, not what I think, babe! - He whined like a kid. - So… should I?
I giggled at his reaction and took a second to think about how to respond to him.
- Well, personally, I love your gray hair. - I said, looking at him. I tried to cut myself off, but i couldn't held myself and murmured the next sentence. - Actually, I think it's kinda hot
He passed through the kitchen door and walked slowly over to where I was. Attempting to pretend that I didn't said that, I bright my focus back to what I was cooking, but Gerard was in front of me with a raised eyebrow.
- Sorry, sugar, do you mind repeating? - He heard me. I could see in his gaze that he knew exactly what I said. With a damn grin on his face, he continued. - A bit louder now, if you don't mind.
- I said... - I tried to use a loud tone, but I feelt a little embarrassed to say that again, knowing he was paying attention and looking directly into my eyes. I cleaned my throat and tried again. - I said that I think your gray hair is kinda hot. But you already know that, right?
I felt my cheeks turning red while I looked away from his beautiful eyes and heard him chuckle at the situation.
- If you say so… - He walked close to my body and stood behind my back, wrapping his arms around my waist and resting his chin on my shoulder. He brought his mouth close to my ear and whispered - then m gonna keep it like this.
He pressed a kiss on my neck, making me melt on him. The way he makes me feel is so surreal that sometimes I wonder if I'm just imagining it all. The "too good to be true" feeling haunts me from time to time, but moments like these remind me that I'm extremely lucky to have him with me, even though we heard a lot of shit about us since we turned our relationship public.
I guess we’ll have to deal with it, fortunately, we have our friends and the real fans to support us.

1 - Does it bother you when dogs lick you?
Yes, it does. I don't like the smell of dogs and I don't like the feel of their tongues.
2 - Have you ever lost a nail completely for any reason? What happened?
Yeah, when I was a kid. I somehow torn it on the swing. Thankfully it grew back and I already forgot how it feels :P
3 - What was the last item you received in the mail?
A custom phone case with the photo of my late cat Victoria printed on it.
4 - When was the last time you used a hot water bottle?
I don't think I've ever used it.
5 - Have you ever been told you drink too much caffeine? Do you think that’s true?
Nah, I always tried to limit my intake. Now I had to cut off caffeine completely because it stops my meds from working.
6 - Do you have any caring responsibilities for anyone else? What do those responsibilities involve?
Yes, for my cat, previously two cats. I feed them and clean their litterbox. We both buy them food and play with them. I also have a teenager in the house. I technically don't do anything, but I buy food for him, too.
7 - Have you ever had any experience with alcoholism?
Not personal.
8 - When was the last time you cleaned the bathroom?
Technically today.
9 - How much does it cost you to fill your car up? Do you need to do it often?
I have no real insight because it's not me who drives our car.
10 - How often do you see family members that you don’t live with?
At least once a year, just this year we've been there 4 times.
11 - Would you ever want to live on a houseboat?
Nah, I prefer a standard house. I might try for a week, but not for the lifetime.
12 - Do you wear shoes inside your house?
No. Only if I go to the backyard.
13 - What color eyes do your pet(s) have?
Yellow. Susie has bright yellow eyes, but Victoria had yellow eyes, too.

I never really played it. Not interested.
15 - Would you rather have a swimming pool or a hot tub?
Swimming pool, hands down.
16 - Are you watching anything on TV at the moment, or are you listening to music while you fill this out?
Watching TV, with one eye.
17 - What do you do with unwanted gifts?
I try to sell them.
18 - Do you have any friends or relatives that you regularly have to help when it comes to using technology?
Yeah, my mum. She's bad at it.
19 - Do you prefer scented or unscented candles?
Unscented, but I rarely use candles anyway.
20 - What was the last thing you cooked in the oven? What about on the hob?
Ribs and soup.
21 - What’s your favorite way to eat chicken?
Baked wings and wraps. I like chicken in general.
22 - Do you prefer cows milk or another type of milk?
Cow milk, definitely. It has to be whole for me. I can't stand skimmed milk. Things like qlmond and cashew milk are out of question because I'm allergic to nuts.
23 - What time do you consider to be a lie-in?
Past 8am. I take my morning meds then.
24 - When was the last time you changed any of your piercing jewelry?
Ears, yesterday. My facial piercings, I haven't since I've redone them.
25 - If you could have a years’ worth of something for free, what would you pick?
Cat food. Susie is so damn expensive these days.
26 - Have you ever won anything on a scratch card or the lottery?
Yeah, 50€. It happened only once.
27 - Is there a hobby you loved five years ago that you don’t enjoy anymore?
Can't think of anything. My hobbies are stable.
28 - Do you watch the Great British Bake Off (or the Great British Baking Show as it’s known in the US)?
No, never heard of it.
29 - Would you leave the house in what you’re wearing at the moment?
Yeah, sure. Why wouldn't I?
30 - When was the last time you needed to charge your phone?
It's on charging right now.

"It's ok, we saw each other as soon as she arrived in town" he told him candidly "Normal things that friends do: a coffee at the station bar, lunch at home... Stuff like that, you know?" he concluded, unusually ironic, picking up a tray with two bowls of ice cream for the girls.
"Tetsu don't be an idiot" the other called him back, but the blue-eyed man had looked at him with such animosity that it had been impossible for him to go on.
"Aomine-kun, if anyone is acting like an idiot here, it's you. She, too, has the right to do whatever she wants. If what she wants is Akashi, that's fine Akashi. It’s not up to you!" he had told him, turning his back to deliver the order.
Standing in front of the open fridge, Daiki could not make sense of those words.
''It’s not up to you!'' he repeated contemptuously, eliciting hilarity from his mother who had just arrived in the kitchen.
''Kid, take out whatever you're fighting with but close the fridge. I haven't worked all day for tomorrow's dinner to be a bust!" she said as she walked past him to set the table for breakfast the next day.
"Is something wrong?" she asked him, running a hand over his back.
"No, not really. I just had a quarrel with Testu, but already fixed" he smiles at her, enjoying his mother's closeness a little.
"Just as well" nods the woman " Shall I run you a bath?" she asks him.
"Nah, I'll take a shower and jump to bed, night mum" he tells her, leaving a kiss on her head before disappearing from her view.
He sighed at the touch of the water on his shoulders, let the hot jet of the shower massage his head, back and chest. He smiled, thinking that there probably wasn't a single gesture of his that you hadn't seen yet. He quickly rinsed off the soap and just as lazily dried himself, wrapping the towel around his waist, to retrieve the linen and throw himself, as he was, on the bed shortly afterwards.
He closed his eyes and tried to concentrate on the noises of the house in order to get some sleep, but that long day seemed to really not want to end.
Momoi, Wakamatsu and you with your damn water bottle.
Tetsu and his sharp opinion, Akashi and your life on the phone.
A meaningless song, with an endless refrain, repeated itself in his head.
He reached for his mobile phone, but told himself that Yuriko's message could wait, as she was also part of the same tune.
He inhaled deeply, tried to resist, but after all, resist against what?
He thought of your bedroom, the large window through which the sun began to filter in early even on autumn mornings, too early, so early that, after that dreadful day, the last thing he wanted to do was get up at dawn.
Having lost his chance to qualify for the Winter Cup and collapsed with it the certainty of his unbeatability, he had little to offer anyone, especially his teammates. Satsuki, however, had managed to understand what lay behind his sudden desire to return to training, and although she had been happy about it, she had also come to realise that at that moment, only solitude would silence his bad thoughts.
Walking lazily on the wide promenade that lined the main road, he had a question he had not asked Momoi, that now seemed to go with his steps. He climbed the steps of the pedestrian overpass, looked down at the stream of cars and backed up ahead, convinced he was experiencing a hallucination.
"I lost " he said, empty of all emotions.
"Not in my eyes" you had smiled at him, intertwining your fingers with his, adding "Let's go home." You had walked in silence, united by that brief contact, to the gates of your block, to the judgemental look of your neighbour standing in front of the entrance of your house, where you had recently been living alone.
"Good evening Mrs Ota and thank you for collecting the mail!" you had told her, letting the boy in, and closing the heavy door behind you as if nothing had happened.
"Tomorrow everyone will know, in no time you'll be the easiest girl in the prefecture" he had told you in a bored tone, sitting down at the kitchen table.
"Who cares?" you smiled at him, throwing the envelopes into a box and retrieving something fresh from the fridge. You sat down next to him to allow him to put his head on your shoulder, his forehead at the level of your lips, his arms casually abandoned around your small frame. You remained like that for an indefinite time, marked only by the movement of your fingers through his hair. A slow, steady, intimate flow that, combined with the warmth of your skin and your breath, had soothed the shock of the discovery of his true nature.
"I'm tired" he confessed, reluctantly pulling away from you, convinced only by the sore muscles from the match.
"I'll run you a hot bath, then we'll eat something ok ?" she had asked softly, stroking your face, smiling at you when she got a lazy nod in response.
You had followed her into her bedroom, placing the sports bag at the foot of the wardrobe after extracting a change of underwear from it. She had shown you a part of the wardrobe where, over time, some T-shirts and trousers that you thought lost had accumulated, a sign of your frequent passage through that house.
"Lava temperature, your favourite" she informed you, leading you into her pretty bathroom "Take your time, Natsume already knows you're staying out tonight. If you have any other needs, put your underwear on and shout " she had simply informed you with a smile, leaving you alone.
Too bad you didn't really want to be alone.
You could have asked her to stay in the next room, you knew she would have been happy to do so, but you chose to leave her free to go back to the kitchen to read Akashi's letter, which she had withdrawn from the hands of that gossipy Mrs Ota earlier.
He'd have done better to learn to distance himself from you, if in future he had not wanted to be the one to be excluded from your life, in favour of the Rakuzan captain.
After all, what could he have offered you that Seijuro didn't already have?
He couldn't have said, not now that even his only reason for being valuable had collapsed.
He dressed quickly, descending the large wooden staircase and smiled as he found you perplexedly holding a pot which, after a quick check on your mobile phone, ended up on the cooker. He felt tenderness at how seriously you were studying the recipe, as if having to fly a rocket to Mars. One could expect nothing less from the cold and detached perfectionist that anyone who had known you briefly would have described you, but for him it was different.
You are the one person with whom he would have crossed all boundaries.
You are his sidekick, his trigger, his enhancer, his wildchild.
"Go on, and I'll kill you with this wok!" she had threatened, still with her back to you, when she had felt your warm hands grab her waist, in an instant she had turned around and was now studying your expression with a puzzled look on her face.
"If you feel like fooling around, maybe that means it gets a little better, right?" she had asked, making room for you, so you could help her by opening the eggs for the oyakodon.
"I'm just worried that you're going to poison me, that would be the perfect end to this day!" he remarked.
"Satsuki passed me the recipe, you see, it's teamwork!" you had informed him, making you both laugh.
Sitting opposite each other, you had eaten your meal quietly, without talking much, just exchanging a few glances and remarks about dinner.
Daiki was tired and sad, a lethal combination for someone like him who had never been very familiar with his feelings. As if that wasn't enough, the situation reminded him all too much of another dark moment in his young life, when the world had crumbled down on him in middle school, and he had first started to have very mixed feelings about basketball and, deep down, about himself. That time it was not you who took him to that big house, but your grandmother, who found him whimpering, soaking wet and lost on the main street. That time too he had taken a bath and filled his belly, that time too he had stolen your room and your space, and, as if that were not enough, the attention of your grandmother who stayed with him chatting about his feelings until he, exhausted, passed out in a dreamless sleep.
"I'll go upstairs for a moment to change, so you can get into bed as soon as you want" you had told him, not objecting to the fact that he had followed you to your room and was sitting on your bed, his gaze fixed on your huge wall piano.
"Why don't you play a little while I take a shower? I'm sure you still remember some songs” you told him, passing a hand over his shoulder, a tender, almost motherly gesture, before disappearing through the door to the other bathroom in another room of the house.
He inhaled, took a few steps towards the instrument but then preferred to head for the desk, where the envelope with his former captain's neat handwriting still lay sealed.
Letters, time alone, common interests. Everything suggested that you two were kindred spirits. Momoi would never have acknowledged it, but she had thought so, a couple of years before, when she had seen the two of you together at the summer festival, at the shoji pavilion.
"She told me she couldn't come" had escaped her lips, with a hint of disappointment.
Daiki crinkled his eyes and when he opened them again he found you smiling in the doorway of the room, your hair loose on your shoulders, your bare feet on the wooden floor, dressed in a long, simply cut nightgown that nevertheless made you look like an angel in his eyes.
'I was thinking of leaving you an extra blanket, it might rain and I think you'd be cold without proper pj's. Ah, there's another pillow in here in case you need it" she informed, as she headed towards the wardrobe, placing the recovered blanket at the end of the bed.
"For everything else, same rule as before: shout, I'll do my best to wake up!" she smiled as she walked a couple of steps closer, so that you were joined by her good scent that immediately reminded you of your childhood runs in the flower-filled fields in spring.
Desperate, that's how he felt, as you were about to turn your back on him and disappear through the door.
But you had never been like all the others.
"Don't be so sad, Daichan, because even though everything seems wrong today, you won" she said, once again seeking contact, which you refused her, sitting back down on the bed. She smiled at you, as if waiting for nothing else to come closer.
She leaned over you, resting her hands on your thighs so that your gaze could no longer escape her.
'You defeated the monster, isn't that amazing? No more loneliness, no more need to hide or stifle your talent. You are free, and I can't wait to see the great things you will do" she tells you, her lips moving a few inches from yours, her eyes glued to yours, her small hands leaving their position with a caress to take away your warm tears, then touching your temples, your shoulders and bringing you close to hold you to her heart, as your hands reach the hips of that angel, whom you make sit on your lap.
"I'm weak" you admit.
"If I can't even do that anymore, what's left of me?" you ask her, unable to stop the tears raining down on the thin fabric of her nightgown.
She remains silent, still looking at you with an unreadable expression.
You close your eyes as she wipes away your tears with the sleeve of her dress, then you lower your head, because you don't really know how you could look at her face without revealing how much you would like to be comforted, which she, still in her silence, is probably telling you she doesn't want to.
"Daiki" she calls you softly, lifting your head with a caress "Dai-chan" she repeats, shaking her head slightly without losing her smile "How little you know yourself, Daiki. If only I could show you how beloved you are, you'd see how key you are, even without basketball. Natsume, Shinichi, Satsuki, Tetsu and Kise. All the girls who dream of having a boyfriend like you, all the kohai who wish they could be cool like you. All the people who don't have the guts to show themselves as they are, and would like an ounce of your courage and talent. Are all these people wrong? I don't think so. These cannot be signs of either weakness or defeat. It is just the opposite Daichan'' she concludes, noticing your gaze becoming wary.
"And you? What about you?"
That question had come out of your mouth, without even going through reason.
"I adore you Daiki, even though sometimes I want to kill you" she had told you simply, placing her cool hands on yours, still firm on her hips, as request to loosen contact to slide off your legs, as if suddenly aware of the awkwardness of that proximity.
"Now try to rest though, we'll finish this talk later!" she tells you, turning her back on you, as if she can't wait to run away. You already know that if you made her take even one step, you would lose everything from that moment. You get up from the bed, and when she turns to say goodnight, you open your arms and see her nod, before her little body is enveloped by yours. You feel her shiver imperceptibly because of your temperature gap. She is so pleasant to have in your arms, so satisfying to caress, so fit to hold you that you wonder how you couldn't have realised it earlier.
"Sleep with me" you whisper to her, hiding your face at the base of her neck, partly out of shame, partly because you are afraid of her rejection, which, however, does not come.
In the semi-darkness of the room, lit only by the dim reading light, she smiles at you, wishing you goodnight. Her face turned to yours, a hand bringing her hair down on the pillow, leaving her neck free allowing you a glimpse of the white skin stretched over her collarbones. With the lights off, your body feels the lack of contact and would like to seek it out, fighting against tiredness which it easily manages to overcome, however, by putting you to sleep.

I’m right for you [pt. 3]
[teaser] [ Chapter 1 ] [ Chapter 2 ]
(you can play Die For You by The Weeknd while reading this 😌)
pairing: popular college! mark x average! reader
genre: romance, smut, angst, series.
warning: corruption, oral sex (both receiving and giving), cream pie, rough sex, mention of religion, rough sex, self-esteem, psychology, public sex, sub! reader, sex toys. possessive mark two-faced mark
I think I’m right for you, babe. You know what I’m thinking, see it in your eyes. You hate that you want me, hate it when you cry. It ain’t workin’ ‘cause you’re perfect and I know that you’re worth it I can’t walk away. (Die for you by The Weeknd)
today is you case presentation with mark. you were deeply affected of what happened in the cubicle but mark seemed unbothered because he was greeting you as usual. it wasn’t weird, he always greets everyone but what was really weird was your classmates. they were looking at you and it made you felt conscious, they were not saying anything but sometimes you catch them glancing at you but you brushed it off and focus on your brainstorming with mark.
yes you do dislike mark but you thank god that he's your partner. he never missed a question from your professor during case study on the other hand you're just standing beside him dumbly. you only understand the question AND the answer once mark responded. well, mark a very kind person he was, despite of answering it alone he made sure that you're included in the case saying base in y/n and my research, even lied that some are from my own research but of course not. plus, for some odd reason, your classmates' eyes were literally made you uncomfortable to the point you were having a hard time to breathe or your social anxiety attacking you. however, at the very moment, you want to give mark a tight hug for making your life easy.
the whole presentation ended. you were putting your things back to your back while standing while mark scrolling in his phone because his dad texted him asking if he could buy him some new pen. you gasped when an arm was on your shoulder, and that caught mark's attention but he hid his annoyance.
"hey, y/n, i heard you like someone ha?" his brows were playfully raising. it was lucas, he gave mark a meaningful glance but mark smiled confusingly.
"what?" you didn't have any idea what he's telling you.
"i heard someone saw-"
"mark!" mina suddenly appeared calling mark's name a little too loud which made lucas stop from talking. "we're going to a milk tea house, do you want to come with us?"
“y/n, come with us.” lucas pulled you closer to his body. mark was taring at lucas arm around your shoulder. you weren’t aware of mark’s expression because your mind was thinking ways to breakthrough from lucas.
“no!” mina exclaimed. he caught everyone’s attention, and she became flustered. “i mean, we will only make her feel uncomfortable and lucas please remove your arms to y/n, she doesn’t look comfortable.” she mumbled. lucas did remove his arms from you.
“milk tea? can we also come with you?” then the people started to surround mark. it became noisy, knowing you who’s allergic to people and noise sneaked out from the circle and left the room.
mark turned his head to look at you but you’re nowhere to be found. he sighed and forced himself to interact with his classmates.
your mother texted you that he will be away for one week because of their excursion. she left you an allowance good for one week including your meals for the whole day and transportation. you already had your dinner outside. right now you were just laying down on your favorite long sofa in your living room, watching NCT 2020 funny moments. suddenly, mark's name popped. mark is your class representative, he has access to class contacts and it wasn't that mark called you because you're always late in the class so for almost past 3 years he's the one you always contact just to inform the class that you're just late.
wait, did i miss an announcement? you quickly left the class maybe something came up.
"hello, was there an announcement?" you directly asked
"none, just checking you. we haven't had a proper conversation awhile ago unless it's case related."
you heart melted, he's very kind and sweet... that scares you.
"ah okay." you simply answered. it wasn't because you want to talk to him, well you really don't want to talk to him but it wasn't that he's annoying or anything- it was just you hate phone calls. you hate talking with someone in general unless it's your mom.
"well, have you eaten yet?" he tried to save the conversation, he wanted to hear your voice longer.
"yes." it was a one-word reply.
mark was slightly shattered because you don't seem to want to talk to him. he just thought that maybe you were tired.
"okay, goodnight."
"yeah." then you hang up.
you returned watching youtube until you drifted into your dreamland... no it wasn't your dreamland.
you gasped and sat up as you woke from another perverted dream with mark. your chest was rising aggressively and you look down as you felt the wetness between your thighs. you raked your hands over your hair as you felt frustration and guilt. this was your second time that you dreamt of mark doing erotic things. you looked at the digital clock it was already 2 am. you groaned and stood up, you want to wash your body because the stickiness just made you feel more guilty if it stays there longer.
you entered your room and stripped, walking directly into your bathroom. you opened a warm shower and as the water trickled on your body, hands unconsciously trailing to the south. your dream was so hot, you can't lie about that. it was in the same cubicle but instead of his digits, it was his dick inside you.
your eyes closed as you rubbed your bead slow while recalling your dream. you squeezed your left breast and imagining it was mark's squeezing it. you want something to fill your womanhood so you inserted your two fingers and thrust it. your lungs felt like being suppressed by pressure, your thrust became furious.
"oh my- mark fuck." you moaned his name and you have never been so ashamed. it was so wrong but the feeling was so good that you weren't able to stop yourself from moaning. you felt the tension in your thighs. you knelt down and the hand that squeezing your breast was now on your clit rubbing it furiously.
"mark! fuck right there." you felt the tension in your abdomen and your legs started to shake. your body just gave in, bending down, cheek shoved against the wet tiles while the warm water splashed on your body.
you screamed erotically, eyes rolling and lashes flickering. your legs were shaking as you reached your high.
mark hasn't slept yet, it's okay for him because there are no classes. he was staring at the ceiling and mind preoccupied by you.
he was trying to understand why do you keep pushing him away even though you clearly wanted him too. mark did remember where you say he's very different from you, and so? what's wrong with it? what he didn't like is the thought of changing just for a single person but...
"shall i?" he chuckled bitterly. he was really close to his insanity. he feared that this affection will grow into something that is uncontrollable- like an obsession.
he checked the time through his phone. it's 5 in the morning. he decided to jog outside, so, he took a quick shower and wore his tracksuit and running shoes. maybe if tiredness hits him, he will feel sleepy. mark already went to your house and he didn't tell you that his house is just a few blocks away from you, instead of going to his normal route, he changed it, jogging in your house direction.
when he was closed to your street, he was surprised to see you outside. he stood and admire your naturalness from afar. your hair was disheveled, your eyes weren't completely closed yet, and your face was a little puffy but it doesn't take away your beauty. plus, your cute teddy bear pajamas made him smile. he sends his gratitude to god because he created a masterpiece.
yeah, mark is deeply in love and he thinks there's no way out of this feeling.
you were actually waiting for your breakfast, your pancakes from mcdonalds and a warm chocolate drink. when the delivery arrived, you paid and gave him a tip for being quick. you were about to go back inside when you heard a VERY familiar voice which was owned by the person who sleep deprived you
"Y/N!" his voice was loud, it even cracked.
"what are you doing here?" you asked.
"morning jog, and good morning to you." he replied and greeted at the same time.
"jog.." you paused and gasped. "from your condo to here?!" you exclaimed in disbelief. mark laughed at your reaction. of course it'll shock you because you already been in his condo and if he jogged it from there to here, he was supposed to be passing out right now.
"no, my family house is actually a few blocks away from here." he said.
WHAT?! this is not good. you thought. the more he gets closer the more he has access to your mind and body. you masked your displeased face and just nodded.
"okay, ahm. i'm heading back now. bye." you pointed at your house door and awkwardly turned your back walking towards your door.
you expected him to do something because he always do that but to your disappointment he didn't. you looked back to check if he was stil there but he was no longer standing there but you saw him jogging away from your direction. you sighed in disappoinment that made you mentally slap yourself for feeling very contradicting .
you ate miserably your affordable and favorite pancake.
mark took a bathe and go down to eat breakfast together with his parents. they prayed before eating. the cooked food by his mom made him question why your ordered delivery food for breakfast.
"how's school?" mark's dad asked him.
"good, still the same." he replied.
"your father will lead a service, you can invite your classmates. oh mina, you can invite her, she's very sweet girl." his mom said but she doesn't have any motive. she knew mark have not interest in romantic relationship as of the moment, her child was so focus in maintaining his grades and scholarship. at least, that's what he though.. if she only knew.
"i'll try." he forced a smile but behind it was growing tiredness. he knew that his classmates doesn't really want to praise but because they were so fond of mark and they just love to hang out. it defeated the purpose of going to church.
after the breakfast, mark's parent left for their work. he washed the dishes and went up stairs and stayed in his room with his music and guitar. it helped to detach his mind from thinking of you, but it was just temporary as he saw you name appeared in his phone. he almost threw his guitar just to answer your call very quick.
"y/n? why?" he sound so excited.
"ahm, mark... well.. perhaps, do you ahm, have notes from yesterdays discussion? i mean in all cases, not just ours?" you were very stuttering because of shyness. your class have long test about the cases but you're notes are everywhere and you can't understand your writings.
"yes." he said. he knew where this is going. he quickly get out from his bed and go straight to his closet, choosing shirt to wear. "do you need it? i can bring it to you."
"no, no. ahm, you do digital notes right? mind if you could send it through gdrive?" you really don't want to bother him... nah lies. you're just preventing things from happening.
mark paused for a moment and was a little hurt, he understood your statement as if you don't want to see him. but mark will not having any of that.
"it was handwritten though." he faked sorry. he hoped you didn't notice what he did there, hoping that you received it as if it was literally handwritten like directly to paper since he sounded apologetic.
"oh... i see. well, ahm, can you drop by in the house?"
mark still not satisfied by just dropping by.
"how about we study together? we can review together."
you translated it like 'the smartest in your class can help you'and that's very tempting. you can't easily study 8 cases and you need him. you used his diuretics notes in lecture, you almost aced it. now, your lab needs him.
"then, pizza is okay for you?" you whisoered from the other end.
mark secretly fist pump and grinned in triumph.
"yes."
you spayed air freshener in your living room and changed your shirt to another shirt? you only have tees just in different colors, you changed your short into black sweatpants. you made sure that your hair was far different from the hair he saw this morning. you already ordered the pizza.
the doorbell rang. your quickly opened the door for him. mark was standing, carrying his ipad and his other hand holding a two milk teas in a cup holder. he's wearing dark blue t-shirt and gray sweatpants. you smiled awkwardly and let him in. you scanned his body, looking for paper or at least a piece of paper but you didn't see any of it. mark was looking down at you, watching you observing him.
"where's your notes?" you curiously asked.
"here." he lifted his ipad. your jaw dropped.
"i thought you did not do digital notes?"
"i don't recalling telling you i didn't, i just said it was handwritten and when i saif that handwritten in my ipad." he reasoned. taht made you think later realizing that he was right and that made you dumb.
you sighed in defeat.
"by the way, bought you milk tea since you missed it yesterday." he said, you acually don't care if you missed it or not.
you walked towards the single couch and patted it.
"you can seat here." you said.
he quickly sat down and put the milk teas on top of your living room's table. he confusingly watched you when you sat on the long couch and it was the end of it. you were too far from him.
you noticed his sulking face.
"mr. mark lee, what's with your long face?" you chuckled teasingly.
"why are you too far from me?" he pouted.
"damage control." you replied shortly and get your case 3 notes which is very illegible to read. "can i borrow your case 3?"
"why? what did i do?" mark asked was clueless. he did not pay attention to your question
"mark, being alone with you is not healthy anymore." you directly answered him.
"orgasm is healthy, what do you mean?" mark didn't get your.
"mark, that's not what i mean. we're like horny teenagers doing unappropriate things."
"we're already passed in that phase in life, we're both adults." he rebutted.
you mentally face palmed yourself in frustration. why is he so smart and dumb at the same time.
"mark, that's not why i mean. we're being to touchy, every time we are left alone the next thing we knew we're touching each other. do you know how scary was that to me? it only happened twice but i am already longing for more! when i don't feel your touches i go craaazy! i even touched myself for freaking 2-" you froze when you realize what you were telling him you stared blankly at him.
on the other hand, mark was very pleased hearing you exploded from frustration as you became honest for the first time.
"you touched yourself? what 2?" he smirked and lifted his brows.
you cleared your throat.
"can i borrow your ipad? i need your case 3." you murmured and look anywhere but him your face heat up. you want to be swallowed by your favorite sofa.
"then get it."
you look at his ipad sitting on his manly wide spread apart thighs. your eyes stared at the mark that makes your knees weak and wet pussy. his fiery eyes looking directly toyou while he was sitting comfortably on the couch and arms are both in each side of the armrest.
"mark lee, i need it." you tried to use your stern voice but failed because your voice was too small.
"i told you, you can get it.. here." he glanced at his ipad.
you gulped and the living room's air became thick. your submissive self switched on and you just found yourself walking towards him. your hands felt cold as you reached for his ipad. when you lifted it, his bulge forming in his gray sweatpants made you almost drool. you were reminded how fucking hot it was.
you want to touch it and do anything you can possibly could but your single rational braincells keeping you in the light.
"you don't seem sure of what you really wanted to do." he snapped you from overthinking. "should i make you choices?"
"what?" you asked confusingly but your voice was shaking.
"you bring that ipad with you and go back to where you were sitting, or..." he looked up to you with his dark eyes, leaning a little forward you trace the side of your hips with his palm..
"put the ipad on the table and sit in my lap."
mark knew that you can never say no at this state. if you could only see how your body shivered and how defeated your face was, he knew you already gave in.
and his was right.

Three’s a Crowd - Reader/Ben Solo/Poe Damerson (Modern AU)
alright so Ben/Kylo is a big ego kid in this, because of course. Also, Rey is ACTUALLY Lukes daughter in this, making them cousins. Ive fiddled with the plot okay sue me.
Summary: Poe, Finn and their roommate have been living in a harmonious tenancy, but when Finn decides to move out for a year of travelling, the two are left with no option but to look elsewhere for their third body. Rey Skywalker, a friend of the group, proposes her cousin for the role. He's in a band, wears all black and all in all is somewhat of a social reject - but he's also all theyve got.
“I think that one was actually somehow worse than last weeks” You tell Poe, as he pours himself a juice and settles down next to you on the sofa. You'd just finished showing around another possible roommate and you felt exhausted in every sense of the word.
“How can he be worse than the neo nazi?” Poe shot you an unbelieving look and rolled his eyes, kicking his feet up onto the coffee table and knocking some of your papers in his wake.
“Alex was a she, and they asked if they could hang their deer head in the front room” you grimaced even thinking about it, weren't all artsy college students supposed to be vegetarians anyway? why did you have to get saddled with the only blood thirsty one on campus.
“Thats not so bad”
“Poe she showed me a picture of her taxidermied cat”
“Oh”
You had tried to find a polite way to stop her from passing you her phone, but you were too nice to make her feel uncomfortable, and now the image of the long dead tabby would remain behind your eyes for god knows how long.
“was she hot?” You shook your head, causing Poe to sigh wistfully.
“Not hot enough to cancel out her obsession with dead bodies anyway” you informed him, the hopeful look from his eyes gone.
“Face it Poe, were doomed” You let your head fall into your hands, Poe letting out a laugh before wrapping his arm around your shoulder.
“Hey we’ll get someone! who wouldn't want to live here?” You knew his question was rhetorical but when looking around the cleaner than usual flat, you had to admit it was missing something. Bare spaces on the walls from where Finn had taken down his pictures, the empty side of the kitchen counter that had once houses his overpriced coffees. You even missed picking up his empty cups after him, the room feeling like it had less character without them. It truly hadn't felt the same in the flat since Finn had left, and although Poe concealed it well, you could see it was getting to him too. Poe had, after all, known Finn first; Finn managing to get a very drunk and outspoken Poe out of a sticky situation he had found himself in when running across a local gang in a dive bar. The ‘first order’ as they so called themselves, had an infamous reputation around campus for being trouble makers and general doers of bad deeds. Ever since that night they had been an unstoppable duo, until they met you of course, and their duo became three.
You loved Finn, and you knew told miss him like hell, but you also knew that Poe must be feeling that ten times over.
“You wanna do something tonight?” You asked, changing the subject before his mind drifted to where yours had.
“what kind of something?” he wiggled his eyebrows suggestively,
“Gross”
“hey I'm serious!”
“what about Razor Crest, they are open late, we could grab some drinks and meet up with some people”
Razor crest was the only worth while bar in town; it was certainly nothing to write home about, but it played fairly decent music and it had a marginally less sticky floor than others. Additionally, your other friends lived just over from the humble saloon, making it the perfect watering hole for you guys.
It didn't take much convincing before you had Poe out the door and ready to socialise. Upon arrival, he headed to the bar while you were waved over by Rey, who had already found a booth and was already at least a few drinks in.
“Look, i think i have a solution to your roomie problemo” She told you, peeking over her straw, a gleam in her eye that made you feel not all too confident in her yet to be spoken plan.
“Go on” you told her, cautiously.
“My cousins back in town” She told you between gulps.
“The weird one?” You asked,
“Hes not weird, just ...eccentric” the last word was more of a question, but you could tell she was on a roll,
“He's just joined one of the college bands and Auntie Leia says him and Uncle Han are butting heads”
“ah cool, weve always wanted live music in our own flat at 2 am” Poe injected, rejoining the table and placing a drink in front of you before taking a sip of his own.
“hes not BAD at it, he just plays loud i think” She corrected him, “anyway, he's not a total twat, I'm sure he would be considerate of your sleep schedules”
“didn't he try and stab you with a stick when you were five” you asked her, you'd heard stories of this cousin before and none of them were quite savoury,
“that was ages ago! he's like way old now” she was starting to slur her words, but you had a feeling this was something Rey was quite set on. Rey was stubborn, and when she got something in mind she would move hell to make it happen; she was also your best friend, and someone you trusted the judgment off. Had she gotten you into some weird shit in the past? sure.
Did you have any other options; nay on that.
“Fine, get Han or Leia to bring him round at some point next week and one of us will give him a tour” You tell her, and she lets out a little happy shrill at her own personal win. Poe, not so much.
“Speak for yourself, weirdo cousin can see himself around” he crosses his arms and pouts, you give him a little nudge.
“Hey, maybe you'll be best mates” you offer, but when he shoots you a death stare you go back to your drink.
The family turmoil must have been more vicious than Rey had let in on; It was barely the next morning before you had a tall, intimidating male knocking on your door.
“Hey!” you offered him, in as cheery a voice as your hung over self would allow.
He looked down at you from his towering height, but gave no verbal response.
“You must be Ben?...” He offered you the slightest nod you'd had ever seen in response. Okay so, not much of a talker, noted.
You waved him in, shutting the door behind him. God, he looked even bigger inside? is that possible? Rey had failed to mention the sheer height on the boy. You'd seen pictures of her and her aunt and uncle, it seemed like Ben was a scientific and biological mystery. Like how did he get clothes to fit? did he have to shop somewhere special or
you were snapped out of your thoughts by a clearing of a throat.
“So, how much is the rent” so he DID have a voice,
You informed him automatically, still part dazed.
“Ill be in by the weekend” he told you, and with a nod he moved past you, making his way back to the door.
“But wait .. y .. you haven't even seen your room yet?” You stumbled, dumbfound by the lack of foreplay. The previous people you had shown around were full of questions; they wanted to know the ins and outs of the place. Ben had seen all of the door way and the front room and he was already signing the lease.
“See you then” he didn't stop, hand on the door knob as if you hadn't spoken.
“But i don't have your phone number” you don't know why that came to you first, but it was true. At no point had Rey offered you direct contact with Ben, probably assuming he would. It seemed reasonable, that you'd need his number before he moved in, didn't it? Poe was always texting you about random shit in the flat, arguably too much, but it seemed like the norm for people coexisting in such a small space.
He turned back at you and gave you a confused look,
“why would you need my number?”
“erm... to talk to you” your condescending tone not completely masked,
“but ill be living here” he stated, which, he had you there.
Before you could even think of a response he was out the door.
True to his word, Ben had his things over by that very same weekend. Although it was unsurprising considering just how light he packed. In fact, other than his bass and musical equipment, you couldn't really think of anything he had actually brought with him to the flat. You got to meet his parents when they dropped him off, both of whom seemed leaps and bounds more conversational than their son. Ironically, you got Leia’s phone number before her sons; her telling you to message if you ever needed anything. It felt like an indirect jab at Ben, a ‘if he fucks up let me know’, but you digress. The tension between Ben and his dad was blatantly obvious, them sharing no words before he got back into the car and Ben into the house. He did give his mum a small hug goodbye though, and you thought you saw a small tear in her eye before she managed to wipe it away.
Since his move in, Ben had kept painfully to himself. You barely saw him at all in those first days, just heard him through the walls the odd time he dropped something - or saw a plate or cup gone from their places in the kitchen. To be honest , it felt more like a paranormal haunting than a new roommate. Poe was vocal of his apprehension to the situation, sharing glances with you when you would both be in the living room and you'd see ben scurry by or passive aggressively texting you when his favourite cup had been used by someone who wasn't him. it was a relatively small issue, but Poe had blown it so out of proportion that you had ordered a new set of cups from Amazon and sent him the link, shutting him up for a while before he found something else to complain about.
it was the fifth day before you actually bumped into ben again. He was on the sofa with his base set up, twiddling with his amp. The sight surprised you so much you physically jumped back, causing him to look up. crap. act cool. act cool.
“hey” you offered him
“hi” hi replied back, looking back down at his amp.
right, yer. his space, give him his space. Just get your stuff and go back to your room. don't speak to him, leave him alone. he clearly wants to be left alone.
“nice day isn't it” you wanted to cover your mouth, the words coming out against your will. Truthfully, you had no clue why you said it. You hadn't even looked at the weather this morning. Its just what people say right?
“Erm” his eyes shot to the window and then back to yours,”no”
sure enough, it was pissing it down outside. The sky was actually comically grey and you'd have laughed if you werent so angry at yourself. You were unsure of what to do, and he was still looking at you, almost assessing you. His eyes were so serious and dark they felt like they were burning tiny holes into your skin. shit, you had to speak now right?
While regretting every single life decision that had brought you into this kitchen at this time, Poe sauntered into the room like your night in shining armour, ignoring Ben all together and coming straight over to you, placing a big arm around your shoulders. You saw Ben drop his head back down to this bass, and you used all your might to not let out a sigh of relief.
“Tonight, I'm taking you out” He offered, a cheeky gleam in his eye.
“Are you now”
“Razor crest, drinks and dancing, be there or be square” He lists off as if he's a paid promoter, causing you to let out a giggle.
“Whos invited?”
“just the gang” he said, causing you to shoot him an eye roll, knowing full well you ‘gang’ consisted of all of three people, yourself and Poe included in that number.
but then you remembered, there was another person now, whether they liked it or not. Poe’s eyes followed yours to Ben and then back to meet yours again, you saw the realisation change to disgust, as he shook his head silently at you.
you knew this look, the ‘don't you dare’ look, the ‘not in 1000 years’ look. But you couldn't help it, your lips were moving before you could stop them for the second time this morning.
“Are you free tonight, Ben?’
The look of sheer betrayal on Poe's face made you wince, surely he'd understand right? he knew you well enough to know your verbal diarrhoea problem.
Ben didn't even look up, but he did let out a small laugh that felt quite antagonistic.
“i dont go to Razor Crest”
“i don't go to razor crest ugh” Poe mocked, causing Rey to let out a hysterical giggle, and you a sigh.
You'd been out for all of three hours and you were all already feeling the effects of the alcohol. It was late and the bar was jam packed with students all raring to go. Poe had been making eyes at one particular red head almost all night and you were half surprised he hadn't already made his move. Poe put out, it was a fact. You and Finn had at one time made a fridge chart for him, a gold star awarded every time he brought girl home. Whether the goal was to make him feel proud of his conquests or embarrassed, you still weren't 100% sure, but after a month or so you had both lost count and given up. You told yourself it didn't bother you, that he was just a friend, and that he owed you nothing, but every time he left you at the bar for another girl something stung inside; something you pushed deep down but regrettably was still there none the less.
Sure enough, as the night progressed, you and Rey ended up fending for it alone, and instead of feeling sorry for yourself you decided to do the responsible thing and drink more.
After the third round of shots, Rey calls it in.
“I think I'm gonna be sick” she tells you sheepishly, and you can't help but belly laugh in response. She starts to shuffle towards the door and you go to follow.
“Hey don't leave on my behalf” she tells you earnestly, but you wave her off.
“Nah I've had my fill, I'm starting to forget which flat number i live at” you tell her, causing her to giggle this time.
You both stumble out the bar, past the smokers and up the cobbled road towards her flat. She unlocks her door and lets herself in, not before giving you a drunken hug and a sloppy kiss on the cheek.
As you ready yourself to make your way back to your own flat, you come back past the bar entrance; a particularly prominent cobble causes you to trip ever so slightly and gain a whoop from a group of boys who were passing round a box of marlboro straights.
You suddenly realised just how dark it was and just how alone you were. Most nights you wouldn't stay out this late, and if you did, then you'd normally be walking back with finn. You let out a shiver, a mix of both the cold night air finally breaking through your drunken daze and a smidge of fear. The Razor Crests entrance lights were getting progressively further away, and although you know that you only had a maximum of a half mile walk back to your home, it felt like ample distance to get kidnapped or murdered in, most probably both.
How many true crime stories started with a young drunk girl, scantily clad and out alone at night? You could hear the police reports now, which photo would they use? you prayed it would be a hot one, at the very least one after your thin brow phase.
Being literally bumped back into reality, in almost a cruel humorous way, you felt yourself walk head first into a figure, their arms coming out to catch you as the sheer momentum bounced you back.
Oh god, I'm dead. I'm literally going to die.
“Hey, chill out” The voice made your heart beat both slow and race again,
“Ben?!” you shrieked, voice hoarse through pure anticipation of your thought to be demise
“Are you okay” he asked, and only then did you realise you were shaking like a leaf.
“Im fine” you let out in a small voice, looking down at your shoes. You could feel the redness in your cheeks through pure embarrassment alone. This was not an ideal situation for him to see you in, and you kind of started to with that he had been a murderer, at least then you wouldn't have to deal with the second hand embarrassment in the morning.
“What are you doing out here”
“why are you out alone”
you both asked simultaneously,
“I was coming out for a smoke” He told you, flashing his tobacco pouch at you from inside his coat. His very warm looking coat, might you add. Another shiver ran down your body.
“Im coming home from Razor Crest” you tell him, trying to be matter of fact but slurring your words just enough to spoil the show.
“Yes obviously, but why are you alone” he shoots back in some what of a patronising tone, it wouldn't sit well with sober you and it definitely doesn't go down well with drunk you.
“Im a big girl”
“clearly” he makes, making extra sure to look you up and down from his towering distance above you, causing you to huff.
“well i can take care of myself”
“you shouldn't be out alone around here, its not safe” he ignores your response, looking you dead in the eye.
You feel something inside you flutter, a warmth that you can't quite control. Okay, ben might be weird and a bit annoying it would seem, but he was handsome, thats for sure. The limited light danced off his strong features and dark shaggy mop of hair, making him look both dangerous and appealing.
As if you were standing here mentally flirting with the idea of being with Res cousin; you made a mental note to punish yourself for the ludicrous thoughts in the morning.
“Okay well I'm going home now” you tell him, attempting to push past him, but his large hand finds its way to your forearm and pulls you back,
“yes, you are, come on” If what he said before was patronising, he was now speaking to you like you were a dog he was walking.
“go have your nicotine, ive got this one covered” you tell him with a mock salute, causing him to roll his eyes. He lets go of your arm and you take your win, trying to step confidently away without falling. You're proud of yourself for handling the situation when you realise he's following all of 10 steps behind you, rolling a cigarette in his hands while holding a filter between his teeth.
when he catches you looking, he nods down to his hands,
“want one?” he mumbles between his lips, still holding the filter pride of place.
“no thanks” you snap, picking up pace.
Ben smirks at you, but you miss it, too focused on not embarrassing yourself and keeping your feet in line.

Ethereal | Vladek Klimov x Reader (18+)
Read part 2
Word count: 4.6k
CW: Smut, NSFW, Wound, Blood
A/N: I know it's hella long but it irks me to make two people have sex when it doesn't make sense for them to do so. Hopefully you'll enjoy.
It was an exceptionally cold day. Not that it was never not cold in your little northern town. But even among the cold ones, that day felt a bit too cold to you. You were feeling lazy from the very moment you woke up, but after leaving your warm comforter the cold bit into your skin like a snake, even though you had the heater on. 'I gotta get this heater checked’ you thought as you opened up the blinds to look outside. Surprisingly it was neither snowing nor much cloudy. You could almost make out the sun behind the wispy clouds. This cold but almost sunny day lit you up with an amazing idea. You called in sick to your work without wasting any time. Quickly gulping down some leftovers and grabbing your meticulously packed little bag for this exact occasion you were on your way. Hoping none would see you was a terrible stretch of luck cause in that town, everyone knew everyone and everyone saw everything. You were confident you could lie your way out of trouble if you got in any so you didn't quite care anyway. You had only thought in your mind, The hot spring.
The hot water welcomed your skin like an old lover. As you hoped, the water soothed every aching and sore muscle in your body. The spring was empty as usual. The town people weren't quite fond of taking a bath there, unlike you, who even after being born and brought up there couldn't quite get over the euphoric feeling of bathing in a hot spring in the freezing cold weather. Sometimes you wondered if god made a mistake cause you clearly were meant to be in a more warm climate. The cold and the mundane nature of this place got under your skin way too often. Although there were some weird and unexplainable events occurring recently that left the town in quite an unrest. You knew some stuff but honestly you couldn't differentiate the truth from the rumors so you preferred to keep your distance. Anyway you didn't wanna think about that, all you wanted to do was to float in the tranquil hot water, tune everything out with the ecstatic feeling and you could do that forever.
Unfortunately, your forever was interrupted rather quickly as you felt waves behind you. You turned around only to be greeted with a man's face you've never seen before. And working at the local convenience store, it was unlikely you haven't come across almost everyone living in that godforsaken place. He was adrift a bit too close, and you were taken aback, visibly.
“Sorry, I thought you were someone else, didn't mean to scare you” he blurted out sensing your shock and possible discomfort.
“I-It's fine. I just wasn't expecting anyone to be around” you replied. you could see his piercing green eyes even through the steam and they were gorgeous, to say the least. There was this intensity in them that you've never seen in anyone's eyes before.
You could feel yourself staring. So as to snap yourself out of it and to break the uncomfortable silence you quickly spoke up, “You aren't from around here!”. You meant to ask but it came out as a statement somehow, his intense eyes were messing with your tongue.
“Hah! No. I'm not.” he said ever so calmly. You could make out his face clearly from the steam now, and it was angelic. His slick neck and collarbone glistened in the warm water, now at more of a distance from you than before. Yet to you it felt like he was almost pressing against your skin. It made you uncomfortable, in a sensual way. But you played it cool, you had to play it cool. You weren't the type to flirt with unknown people let alone feel this way for a complete stranger that you met like 30 seconds ago. But it was a fact that you never came across a stranger that looked like him. You couldn't really blame yourself for feeling like that. You shook off your body's fervent reaction to him and said, “I see. We don't really get any tourists around here, especially during these months. Are you visiting someone?”
“Not really. I'm here to fulfill my duty.” he said, the words rolling out his tongue like butter. You've always adored that accent, rarely you heard it around there.
-“Duty?”
-“Yes.”
You understood he probably wasn't interested in explaining anything further and you quite weren't in the state to ask anything either. Your mind was getting hazy. There was a considerable amount of distance between the two of you but his presence felt electrifying. The tension, you felt, was excruciating yet exciting. He on the other hand, seemed extremely and unusually composed. Even smirking, ever so slightly
You were starting to realize there was something unnatural about this man, your head now completely fuzzy and that was your cue to leave. You dipped in the water and swam away without saying anything else. You didn't look back when you got out of the water. When you parked your car in front of your house 15 min later, you were panting.
It had been a few days since you saw him. Yet you couldn't get him out of your head. You saw his intense gaze at the back of your lid everytime you closed them. There were things happening around you but you were out of it. You felt faded everywhere you went. It was as if he took a part of you with him. It was so dumb when you thought about it, you were with him for like 2 minutes at best, yet he rubbed off on you so badly that you couldn't stop thinking of him. And sometimes you caught yourself wishing you met him again, maybe feel his skin this time. You wanted it to happen so much yet you were afraid of it happening, no, you were terrified. Cause if you felt his skin once, touched him even for a moment, you would lose control over all your motor function. Feeling this hot and bothered for someone you didn't even know the name of, left you quite ashamed.
That evening when you came home from your disturbingly tedious job, you weren't expecting for your wish to come true and that too to such an extent.
You walked straight to your kitchen to pour yourself some rosé cause it was Saturday and you had nothing better to do. You preferred the high of alcohol more than whatever you've been feeling for the last few days. It was way better to be actually drunk. You heard some rustling behind you as you were emptying the first glass. You didn't pay it any mind. As you were pouring yourself the second glass you heard footsteps, that sent you on alert mode. When you turned around, ever so slowly, you saw the guy in glasses. Standing, rather leaning against the door frame, with his left hand pressing against the side of his stomach. You were out of everything these past few days that's for sure but you still heard about him. Panic struck you quicker than the alcohol could. ‘How did he get in?’ you thought then immediately answered you own question by cursing yourself for not properly locking the door, the want to get drunk as quick as possible came back to bite you in the ass. But beating yourself up for that wouldn't help now, the danger was already in. With your back against the counter you started fumbling around with your hands in the back looking for something sharp, anything but the only thing you found was the bottle of rosé and the half poured glass. You cursed yourself again and understood that luck wasn't on your side so you decided to run for your life cause you didn't wanna die yet. But your body froze in place and nothing you could do would help it move. Fear took over your being like a frostbite. All of this happened only in the matter of a few seconds. You were now standing there, glaring at him with wide terrified eyes, preparing yourself for the bitter embrace of death. He was standing there still, crouched a bit, till then. Seeing you stop moving, he laggardly took off his glasses and the mask and threw it aside. Your eyes darted towards the accessories as they fell on the floor with a soft thump. It was only then that you noticed he was bleeding all over your floor. When your eyes came back up to see his now bare face, your body went numb and blood flooded the back of your neck like a tsunami at the sight. It was him.
Nothing was making sense to you. Right then probably the alcohol kicked in cause you started feeling tipsy and was starting to doubt if all of that was just a mere hallucination. You were starting to spiral in your absurd thoughts when he spoke up, his voice sharp from the visible pain he was in, “w-will you help-p me p-please?”
Hearing his aching voice something went off in you. The fact that he was the guy in glasses, the dangerous demon people kept talking about, completely washed away from your immediate memory. You rushed over to him and held him by his shoulder to walk him to your bedroom. You helped him out of his coat and the clothings underneath. He inhaled sharply when the t-shirt brushed against the side of his stomach as he was taking it off. It was then that you could see the wound. It was ghastly and bleeding still. You gasped at the sight of it. You blurted out, “How did you get this?”
He didn't answer your question, rather went on to say, “it's a...um.. grazed bullet wound”. His voice strained from the agony.
“W-we need to go to the hospital, what if the bullet is inside!”, you said as your fingers were ghosting over the wound, your teeth clenched. You were growing more and more worried with every passing moment.
“Look at me”, he said firmly with his tired voice and you did, he was looking more human now. Still as unreal as that day, but somehow more human. ‘It's probably all the blood’, you thought to yourself.
“I can't go to the hospital, you understand? You have to help me however you can right here, yeah?” he had this expression, this strange mix of pleading and pain on his face as he said that and nodded slowly. You nodded back in return like an old partner in crime would. After carefully sitting him down on the bed and giving him one of your T-shirts that was just lying around to press over the wound, you practically ran over to your bathroom to get your first aid box. You came back equally hurried. He was slouching in pain. One hand pressing the t-shirt over his wound, other one supporting his body weight on the bed.
You laid him down slowly and then sat beside him. He hissed as you took off the now bloody t-shirt and exposed the wound again. You started cleaning the wound with an antiseptic liquid and you could feel his body shudder under your touch from the pangs of the liquid.
“I think it needs stitches” you looked up and said. He looked fatigued but still more beautiful than any human you've ever seen.
“Can you do it?” he managed to say, with labored breathing.
“I-i learnt it in highschool. I have the supplies but I don't know. It may hurt. I still think we should go to the hos-”
“Do it.” he cut you off quite abruptly. And as if under a spell, you complied.
Halfway through the process, you looked up to see him staring at you. His eyes sent a chill down your spine. The intensity was now setting in, he was half naked, almost under you, you were touching his warm skin and he was staring at you, like that. You couldn't bear the tension so you decided to speak up. Besides the questions were bubbling under the surface for quite a while now.
“How did you find my place?” you asked, and genuinely wanted to know.
-“Freya told me. She was curious to know with whom I confused her with.”
- “How do you know Freya?”
- “I do.”
- “and she told you my name too?”
- “Yes, (Y/N). She indeed did”
Your hand hitched a bit hearing your name roll off his tongue like that. You weren't prepared. He hissed at the sudden sharp pain.
- “I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.” you apologized quickly. He didn't say anything. For a while you went quiet but the questions started pouring in again.
- “So why didn't you go to Freya's? You're clearly her guest. Why come to me?”
- “There were police at her place.”
And at that sentence, everything came back to you like a flood.
“Who are you? What's with you and the glasses? And what is this demon people keep talking about? What the hell is this bullet wound and how did you get it? Why are you on the run from the police? Did you kill someone?”, in one singular breath you asked. Your hands stopped working at his wound. The fear was slowly creeping in again.
He looked at you blankly for a little while and then chuckled. It caught you off guard and you couldn't but relax a bit.
“You ask an awfully lot of questions to someone who is getting stitches on his stomach, don't you think?” he said in a strained but adoring voice.
You felt a bit humiliated and looked down to continue your work.
After a while, he let out a sigh and said, “I'm a Shaman. I came to save this town. From a demon who possesses people and slowly becomes them.”
Whatever he said didn't quite make sense to you but there was something so religious about the way he spoke, something so otherworldly about him that you believed him without a shadow of a doubt. You realized he didn't answer all your questions either and honestly you didn't need him to. You believed every word from of his mouth like it's the word of the lord. And at that point, if he said you were the demon, you would have believed him. Maybe that's what compelled you to ask the next question, “Am I the demon?”
- “No. Never. The demon wouldn't touch someone like you.”
Again it didn't make sense to you what he meant, but you felt it and you believed him. He was growing visibly weary so you decided not to ask him anything further. And when you were done stitching, he was fast asleep. You bandaged up the wound, turned off the lights and left him be.
You made your way to the kitchen and grabbed the bottle of rosé. Your brain was banging against your skull, whatever happened from the evening truly felt like a fever dream. The man that you've been thinking about for the entire week and the man who this town thinks is a demon was fast asleep in your bedroom, it wasn't setting quite right in your brain. You drained the bottle, hoping you'd wake up from this. But instead you started feeling terribly exhausted. You wanted to just lie down on the floor and pass out right there but you deserved more than the hardwood floor after what happened that evening. Now if it was any other day, you would have slept on the couch but something about him was so magnetic that you couldn't keep yourself away from him. You stumbled your way to your bedroom and collapsed on the bean bag opposite to the bed. He was sleeping peacefully like a child. And looking at him, you too fell asleep with an empty bottle in your hand.
When you woke up, everything was blurry. Your headache hit your head before your vision did. As everything came into focus you saw him kneeling in front you, looking at you with his burning green eyes. The sun was coming in through the window above your head and it's glorious yellow glow bathed him. He looked like an ancient greek statue. However little humane he felt yesterday vanished just like that. With his soft lush curls draping over the face, he looked ethereal, kind but regal. You kept staring at him and couldn't quite speak. Whether it was the effect of his beauty or the hangover, you didn't know.
“You're awake” he said in a mellow soothing voice. He sounded much more lively than yesterday. He was still wearing only his pants. His body looked like it was carved out of a stone under the fuzzy sunlight.
You tried to say ‘hmm’ but made somewhat of a weird raspy sound. He didn't seem bothered by it.
“How's your wound?” you asked as you were trying to sit up properly.
“Better. Thanks to you.” he gave you a cordial smile. Something about that smile made you feel so safe even though a literal stranger was in your house at 6 in the morning.
-“um- do you want some coffee?”
-“No, you've already done enough, I think I should leave now”, he said as he looked at you with those mesmerizing green eyes. “Thank you (Y/N), I really appreciate your kindness”.
You didn't know what it was. Whether it was the way your name fell from his lips or the idea of him leaving and you not being able to see him again that sent a mix of anxiety and urgency down your body. You leaned in from the bean bag and crashed your lips onto his. Holding onto his shoulder for dear life, you pushed his body backwards with all your weight. You kept kissing him as if trying to devour him as quickly as possible. Running out of breath, when you pulled out, he had his back against the bed and you were half crawling half kneeling over his now stretched out legs. The position was almost as awkward as the situation. He looked at you with a startled expression, mouth slightly agape. You were just as appalled by your sudden inappropriate action.
“I-I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to. I should have asked. That was so inappropriate. I'm really so-” you blabbered on, flustered and ashamed of your actions.
“It's okay. I like you (Y/N)”, he cut you off and said with a soft loving voice, almost like you'd coo to a baby.
“B-but you don't even know me!”, the confusion in your voice was more than apparent. You looked at him wide eyed, hoping he would explain. Cause if he didn't, you wouldn't have the mental strength to ask him again after hearing what he just said.
“I don't need to know people like you all do” he spoke, the sunlight falling on him still making him look heavenly. “There's...There's a deeper knowing within me about people. From the place above and beyond. I knew you before, I know you now and I'd know you after this place too. I know you more than even you do perhaps. And I like you in all my knowing.”
His words felt like honey in your ears, his voice and accent made you feel light-headed. Or was it the hangover again? You couldn't tell. You didn't know. None of anything he said registered in your brain. Baffled, you just gawked at him, frozen in your uncomfortable posture.
Sensing your astonishment, he cupped your face with his hands and brushed your cheeks with his thumbs, with a smile that you were sure could cure you from all your illness. Under his touch you melted. It felt like electricity was running up and down your body. At this moment, you truly believed, he wasn't from this world.
Every bone in your body wanted to possess him.
And so you did. Kissing him with all the force you could muster. You crawled your way over his body, then straddling him. He kissed you back although more softly compared to your burning urgency. Your hands wandered into his soft hair, tugging and pulling. You were getting sloppy but you didn't take a moment off, you felt like if you did he might just slip off from under you like sand. Or you might wake up from this very vivid dream. You couldn't take any chances, you had to make the most of whatever it was, real or imagined. You were grinding against him slowly but aggressively. Your clothed chest rubbed against his bare skin. As his tongue mingled with yours, he tasted heavenly, like nothing you've tasted before. Your hands wandered all over his neck, shoulders and arms. You were trying to touch and feel everything that he was, he still didn't feel real to you. In your fervid bliss, you mistakenly pressed against his bandaged wound making him hiss out in pain against your mouth. Your ardent movements came to a halt as he slowly pulled away, saliva dripping from the side of his mouth, his lips glistened in the yellow sunlight.
“Go a bit easy on me, yeah?” he pleaded, his doe eyes piercing your soul. At that moment if he stabbed you in your heart, you'd die happy. But you wanted to please him, make up for whatever hurt you caused him. So you kissed him again, this time feebly. His mouth, the side of his mouth, jaw bone, neck, collarbone, you kept showering him with careful kisses, licks and bites all over his upper body. He was brushing his hands lovingly on your back. It felt like this was the moment you've been waiting for your whole life, you were quite sure you wouldn't exist afterwards. When you were done bathing every inch of his upper body with your lips you looked up to see his face. His affectionate gaze was sending warm ripples down your stomach. You felt his hardness against you and you knew what you wanted to do. You started kissing your way down towards his crotch, and after a bit of fumbling, you slid his pants off of him. There he was in all his glory. Without wasting a second, you took his cock in your mouth completely, as far as you could. His breath hitched at your sudden action. You glided your mouth up and down while your tongue went in circular motion around his length. If he was the god there then you were his one true devotee and you wanted to worship him, please him like your life depended on it. You heard him grunt softly and that made you soak through your panties. You could feel his body tense up, his breathing starting to get more and more rushed. You would finish him off like that if it weren't for his hands reaching down to cup your face and pull you up back on top of him. None of you were talking but it felt like you were communicating with him more than you've done with anybody before. He took your top off in a languid motion, followed by your bra. Your bare skin flush against his, like your body was on fire.
He eyed you up and down slowly, and uttered “you're beautiful”. You wished you could reply and say something but you were too out of your mind to do so. You only kissed him in return. After another fervent make out session, you pulled away, breathless. You were starting to get needy again as you felt your stomach slowly tightening up. He then pushed his back upwards in a clumsy way and sat up on the edge of the bed. You looked up to him and he looked celestial. At this point you weren't thinking anymore, everything you were doing was purely instinctual. He reached his right hand out to you and you took it. With one fluent motion he pulled you up and pinned you on the bed. He was now on top of you, staring down. You could see a glimpse of hunger in his eyes but his kind smile felt otherwise. It was him now who bathed your body with kisses. He lovingly took one of your nipples in his mouth and stroked the other one with his hand. With his warm tongue working on your nipple and his soft curls tickling your breast, you were quite sure you were in heaven. But you were getting impatient and you wanted to feel him inside of you. Unknowingly to you, your hips went up to grind against him as you whined sensually. He looked up at you and chuckled softly. You felt your cheeks warm up from embarrassment. But he complied with your will and helped you out of your pants and underwear. Now there was nothing between the two of you. He came up to face you as he positioned himself at your entrance. Your body felt like it would turn to dust at any moment. Your vision was hazy but you could swear his angelic beauty lit up the whole room. You felt like you were drowning in his eyes. But your reverie broke as he entered your body, filling you in. You wrapped your legs around his hips and your arms around him. Your back arched up like a cat as he quickly found a rhythm and started hitting the right spot. Waves of pure bliss started to take over your whole body as your core started building up. You were a moaning mess under him, and his grunts felt like music to your ears. He was navigating the boat and you were just riding. He picked up the pace and became more and more aggressive. You could feel him smothering your cheeks, neck and breast with kisses. But honestly you couldn't tell anymore, you could only feel the waves rising and the tension building. Building and building and with a final hit, it all came undone. You came crashing down a mountain top but it felt euphoric. Your eyes rolled back somewhere into my skull. You could feel his tongue in your mouth, as his thrusts became more and more sloppy until it finally halted. He buried his face into the crook of your neck, and you could feel his warm fluid fill your insides.
When you opened your eyes, you were a panting and sweating mess. He pulled out of you slowly and rolled over to your side. He was equally as messy as you were. You turned on your side to face him. He was smiling at you coyly and in that moment it felt like you've known him for eternity. He was practically gleaming in the afterglow. As you were slowly coming down from the high a very embarrassing realization hit you. You didn't know his name. You just fucked someone you didn't even know the name of. You were becoming red with shame and he noticed.
“What's wrong?”, his voice filled with genuine concern. You were seriously considering if you should ask him that at this point. But you did,
-“I- um... what's your name?”
-“Vladek” he said softly and in that moment he looked so beautiful that you were afraid you'd go blind. Yet in his beauty there was this delicacy, this vulnerability. For some reason you felt like he didn't have much time left on his hands. As if he had to go back from where he came. He looked too vulnerable for this world and you had a very bad feeling.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
George was lounging in the warm bath water, trying to use breathing exercises to clear her mind and calm herself. It had been a long day, capping off a long almost-month inside the Supernatural Universe. There were so many questions she couldn't answer and she wished she could turn her brain off; focus on anything else.
"George?" She heard Dean's muffled call from the other side of the bathroom door. "You OK in there?"
"Yea," She answered quietly. "Just humiliated," She added with an eye roll.
"Don't sweat it," Came his unusually sympathetic reply. "We've all been there, or somewhere similar… or somewhere worse," He added off handedly, taking another bite of pie. It occurred to him suddenly that the two of them were alone and Dean had a thought. After a moment's hesitation, he swallowed his bite of pie and called timidly, "George?"
"Yea?" She responded curiously, her voice raised slightly to compensate for the sound barrier. There was such a long pause with no answer that she wondered if it had just been her imagination. As she was about to call out again, she heard him finally.
"Can I ask you something?" Came an inquiry so quiet she almost didn't hear it. He sounded uncharacteristically troubled and… nervous?
"Yea, sure," She answered gently.
"What do you know about Michael?"
"Michael who?" Came her quick, confused reply.
"The archangel? Asshole that's been wearing me as a suit the last few weeks?" She was suddenly reminded of the fact that she was living inside of a TV show and it stunned her into silence. "That Michael? Has he not been on the show or...?" The nervous huff in his reply shook her out of her stupor. She realized this must be a hard topic for him. Unfortunately, though, she didn't have any insight to give.
"Oh fuck, right, Michael," She swallowed and gathered her thoughts before replying with a sigh, "I'm sorry, Dean, I don't really know much. I hadn't started this season yet," She finished apologetically.
"Thanks," Came a sarcastic reply.
She frowned and defended, "Look, I have a life, dude! I get behind, I can't always tune in every Thursday! Trust me, no one is more sorry about that than me right now. Maybe if I had, I could have done something to prevent this insane situation." A heavy sigh dotted the end of her sentence pointedly. Then she had a strange, disconcerting thought:
Would you really have prevented this from happening if you had a choice?
The thought startled her and she guiltily refused to answer herself.
A welcome distraction for her was noticing the silence that followed her answer to Dean; George could tell he was still concerned. Reaching over and grabbing the door handle, she cracked it just enough to spy Dean sitting on the edge of the mattress, holding a take out box. He glanced at her almost imperceptibly and she could tell her eyes weren't exactly welcome, so she turned her head away but left the door open.
"Here's what I've heard/seen on accident," She started, pausing to think and then saying carefully, "He comes back somehow," She heard him bristle but kept going, "And you do something to trap him. Some kind of box… or maybe a walk-in freezer?" She was trying to organize the spoilers she'd seen and identify what was related to Michael and what wasn't. "I know that doesn't make a lot of sense and I'm sorry, but that's all I've got."
Dean sighed and shrugged, "It's alright, George. I'm just… feeling lost. Was hoping for some clues, but it's not on you to save my bacon." George gave a wry smile to the bath water and sat quietly for a moment.
Finally she turned her head to look at him and asked, "You want to know what I do know, Dean?"
Slowly, he turned to look at her with an intrigued eyebrow, "I don't know, do I?"
With an amused eye roll she spoke, "I know this--right now--this story line with alternate Michael? It's two seasons behind where you and your brother end up in my reality. And--at least as far as I remember--this alternate Michael isn't a starring role for very long."
Dean furrowed his eyebrows at her in consideration, "Meaning?"
She shrugged and offered, "Meaning, you figure this out. Like you always do. You will figure this out and you will beat Michael and be onto the next big bad, whomever that is. Which, don't even ask because I really have no idea. Haven't watched those seasons at all yet… I think there's one episode where you meet Scooby Doo?"
Dean smirked and rolled his eyes, telling her matter-of-factly, "We already did that."
"No shit?! That already happened?" When he nodded in confirmation George 'ughed' loudly, rolling her eyes, "Damnit, that must have been one of the ones I just watched. What was it like?! Was Shaggy really high? Was Daphne really hot? Was Scooby just adorable?!"
Dean chuckled and answered, "Uh, yes, hell yes, and duh! It's Scooby Doo! Of course he's adorable!"
"Was it weird to be animated?"
He shrugged a little, "Eh, kin-"
She cut him off with a gasp, "Wait! Was all of you animated, like.. did you have all your-"
He shook his head and proclaimed, "That's none of your business!"
"Sorry!" George apologized defensively, then begged, "Tell me you and Daphne-"
"George!" Dean admonished with feigned offense, "I don't kiss and tell."
She scoffed and guessed, "Struck out, huh?"
Dean frowned and simply said, "Her and Fred are an item. I didn't want to break that up," to which George laughed in disbelief.
"Yea, I got it. I think things are starting to come back to me now," George teased him and he shrugged in defeat, unable to deny the fact that he definitely struck out with Daphne. When her laughter died away, she looked at him again and said, "I'm sorry I can't be more of a help. I know, I know, it's not my job to save you but that doesn't mean I enjoy not being able to." They were quiet again for a minute and she sighed, "If I could just call Ryan."
"Who's he?"
"She is my Winchester Wiki," She explained very matter of factly and Dean stared at her with an annoyed expression. With a smile she continued, "She's my friend and she's also a fan of the show; Got me back into it later in life and, well lets just say, she pays closer attention than I do. She'd be able to help you with this whole Michael problem without breaking a sweat. Oh and she's gorgeous," George tossed on and Dean raised a curious eyebrow. She caught his curious expression and asked, "You don't happen to have a phone with trans-universal long distance coverage by chance?"
Dean snorted and shook his head in bemused defeat, "Not on me." He was frustrated that she didn't have more insight on Michael, though somewhat comforted by the fact that-at least in her reality-he wasn't dead yet. That was something, he guessed.
"So," George smirked at him, glee in her eyes, "American's Next Top Model, hmm?"
"What, are you surprised? A house full of attractive models?" Dean gave her an obvious expression.
She shark-mouthed understandably and nodded, "Fair point. Allison cycle 12? Ooof. Hello!"
Dean considered her assessment for a moment, then nodded agreeably but offered, "Mercedes, cycle 2."
George had to remember who that was for a minute but then nodded emphatically, "Yes! Gorgeous and she was good. She ended up top three, right?"
They compared notes for a few minutes, until he finished the last bite of pie in the container he was holding. Then he whipped out his phone and muttered in her direction, "Finish your bath. I'm gonna text Sam for more towels."
When Sam got the text he snagged a pile from a housekeeping cart on their way back to George's room. They had also stopped by the car and brought up a few bags, per his request. Dean carefully handed George the towels through the bathroom door, so as to not accidentally see any bits, and then turned to Sam for a room update.
"Bad news: no adjoining rooms. The best I could do was five doors down. Even more bad news: only one queen bed." Sam held up the room key with a feigned wince. "But listen, I don't think we should leave George alone, so I'll just crash on the floor in here and you can take the room."
"Wow, what a sacrifice," Dean chuckled knowingly at his brother and snatched the key from him. "Shouldn't we have Cas handle it, though?"
"No, why?" Sam protested a little too fast.
"Because he doesn't need sleep. He can keep an eye on the little deserter. Make sure she doesn't do it again?"
Sam frowned, "She's not going to. And if she does, I think I can handle it. How is she supposed to get any sleep with Cas staring at her all night?"
"I don't stare at people when they sleep," Cas interrupted. With a huff he clarified, "I stare at the wall."
Dean looked at the offended angel and shrugged, "It's not that bad. He's quiet. Honestly, it's kind of comforting when you think about it." There was an awkward pause and Dean added, "Sometimes he'll sing for you if you ask nice-"
"Dean," Castiel admonished him for sharing something so intimate. Cas only did that for him.
Sam looked between the two of their sheepish faces and then assured sarcastically, "Yea, a singing angel staring at the wall in the dark. Totally not creepy."
George came out of the bathroom wrapped in the clean towels from Dean. She was now looking a little sheepish as well, "Hey, sorry about earlier. All of it. I jus-"
"Ah, ah, ah!" Dean held up a hand to her. "Save it for the morning. You can spill your guts over breakfast. We couldn't get adjoining rooms, so Cas and I will be just down the hall; Sam will stay with you tonight. On the floor," He said pointedly with a 'behave' look toward Sam, who rolled his eyes in irritation. George nodded, barely listening, and let out a tired sigh.
Then she had a startling thought and groaned, "Shit. I'm going to have to put those crusty clothes back on."
Dean grinned proudly, "You're not the only one with surprise gifts." He took the bags that Sam and Cas had retrieved from the car and set them down on the wooden table.
"What's this?" She asked, grabbing one of the handles and peeking into the bag where she spotted the Friends logo hoodie she'd picked out at Target. "My clothes? My deodorant?! Oh Dean! Thank you so much! I would kiss you but you have pie like… all over your face, but thank you!" As she dug into the bags to search for the PJs, Dean looked questioningly at Sam and Cas who nodded in confirmation.
"Why didn't you say anything?" Dean grumbled, moving over to the sink to wipe his face. Sam shrugged in feigned innocence, laughing internally at his idiot brother.
"How did you get all the clothes I picked?" She asked, impressed.
"We got lucky; Sam happened to hear one of the employees complaining about a nutty woman who'd run from the store like a bat outta hell and abandoned all her stuff," Dean gave her a pointed stare.
She looked first at Sam, and then Cas and Dean, with immense gratitude, "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Her spirits had been lifted a little. The fresh underwear alone was going to make her feel a thousand times better.
"They mentioned they'd already put back one or two items when we asked about it, so hopefully we got the right replacements." Sam warned her.
"I don't care! I can apply deodorant and brush my teeth; I'm sure I can put together at least one clean outfit with what's here! So I'm hap-" She suddenly stopped and froze, having discovered a strange item in one of the bags. "Wha?" In one swift motion she pulled out a pale pink lace bodysuit and held it up for them to see. With an annoyed, yet curious expression she looked at Dean and asked, "Someone care to explain this?"
Dean held his hands up in innocence and Sam inspected the garment in confusion.
"It looked nice on the mannequin and the Target associate who helped me pick it out said it was bold, yet feminine. Perfect for the new woman in my life," Castiel happily explained, sounding as though he was reciting someone else's words.
George blushed a bit, looking at Sam and Dean like 'is he for real?', unsure how to respond. Both men shrugged unhelpfully, avoiding eye contact with the item she was still holding, and remained quiet. Cas seemed so proud, she didn't want to ruin it.
Finally, she stuttered out, "Wow. OK, well… thanks. Very thoughtful of you, Castiel…"
"If you wanted to provide me with your exact measurements, the sales associate offered to help me pick out a 'matching bra and panty se'-"
"OK, why don't we quit while we're ahead, eh Buddy?" Dean grabbed up four of the remaining takeout boxes and motioned for Cas to do the same. He then reached for the pink, lacey material in George's hand, jokingly trying to take it from her.
She swatted him with it and held it out of his reach, "Hey! You're the old woman in his life."
He couldn't help but laugh in response, though he shook his head in annoyance, and then headed out the door with the angel in tow, "See you crazy kids in the morning!"
When they left George looked at Sam curiously, "Is it wrong that I kind of want to give Cas 'my measurements' and then watch him try to pick out lingerie?"
Sam smirked in amusement but nodded, "Yes."
"Oh, you're no fun," George chuckled and tossed the teddy back into the bag.
"Perhaps the wrong audience?" He suggested with a chuckle.
"Yea, that's fair," She agreed. While she rifled through the bags and grabbed out some black PJ pants, a light blue, short sleeved t-shirt, and a pair of underwear, Sam watched her quietly. To say he was relieved to find her safe and unharmed was an understatement. He'd also been thrilled by her admission that she liked it here, but, like Cas, he was curious what it meant. And what it could mean for him.
Does she like it enough to stay maybe? He cursed at himself for even thinking it.
"Uh, George?" He finally pushed through the nerves and forced himself to speak.
"Hmm?" She responded curiously, not looking up from her bags just yet.
He tried to adopt a nonchalant, yet comforting tone and asked, "When you were saying earlier that you felt… comfortable here? Like you belong? What did you mean?"
Pausing her rummaging, she glanced over at him, caught off guard by the question. Truthfully, she didn't know if she could answer it. She was quiet for a long time, trying to decide how deep she wanted to get into this.
Finally, she turned to him and said, "Back home I… I've always had this strange, out of place feeling. Major dysphoria my whole life and kinda irritatingly painful too, like... full body restless leg syndrome. I've always imagined it similar to how a trans individual might experience feeling like they were born in the wrong body, ya know?" Sam made a noise of confirmation and she continued, "Except, my body is fine--well, it's not the cause of this problem anyway," they chuckled together.
"It's more… my whole being was wrong somehow, like I didn't belong. Anywhere. I had trouble connecting with people and making friends; even my own family seemed so different from me. I felt like I was on a different wavelength than other people, and not in a snooty, I'm-better-than-anybody way but like a sad, I-have-hardly-any-friends-because-I-can't-relate way, so it sucked. Hard. My family wasn't much help; though they tried to help by testing me for every 'disorder' you could think of. Nada. I was just… inexplicably different and no one could explain why. I could barely explain what I was feeling. They--my parents--were surprisingly relieved when I came out after college. For them, my 'struggle with the fact that I liked boys and girls throughout my childhood' explained everything away so perfectly, that they wrote it off right then and there. But it never had to do with that; my sexuality was nothing I ever struggled with, I just didn't feel like I needed to tell them. And since I'm still queer in this reality..." She trailed off her point, allowing him to fill in the blanks, with a chuckle.
Sam nodded with a sympathetic smile, clearly reading on her face how painful her experience had been. Gently he asked, "And now, being here, i-in this reality, you feel...?"
Her head tilted to the side and, looking at him wide-eyed, she sighed deeply, "Now? God, now, I feel… normal? Or, at least what I can only assume normal people feel like." Suddenly her voice was heavy with deep emotional relief, "I don't know how to explain it… and I don't know why, maybe I don't even care why, but I feel so good for the first time in forever. Emotionally, spiritually, physically... The constant restless buzzing is mercifully just gone. Sometimes I think I feel it again--that terrible, agonizing discomfort--and my heart skips a beat. But then my brain registers that it really is gone and I still feel good! And that feeling is almost better than the best sex I've ever had."
Sam shark-mouthed in surprised appreciation and teased kindly, "So, I guess you did know how to explain it?"
George let out the breath she hadn't realized she was holding with a chuckle and nodded, "Yea, I guess so. Honestly, I'm a little scared to go back," A few tears that had welled up as she was proselytizing spilled down her cheeks uncontrollably and she reached up to wipe them away, blushing lightly.
As George contemplated her admission in the silence, the guilt she felt over leaving them earlier was back. Why the hell did she leave if she'd felt so damn good here? She also felt like a stupid, impulsive child running away from the only people who seemed to care about her, at least insofar as they didn't want her to die. She felt especially guilty that Sam had stuck his neck out for her with Dean and she'd basically stomped on it.
Sam stood awkwardly, watching her with an empathetic grimace. He nearly leapt over to comfort her but… Christ, was this situation complicated. Maybe if things were different, maybe if she wasn't safer in her old reality, maybe if they hadn't handcuffed her to a chair and interrogated her, maybe if she hadn't spent the last few hours crying through an existential crisis, maybe if he wasn't terrified she would push him away in disgust? Maybe if she wasn't practically naked right now... maybe then he wouldn't feel so torn about walking over and wrapping her up into a bear hug.
After a moment of nervously wringing her fingers, George met his eyes and took a deep breath, apologizing, "I'm sorry I ran, Sam. I don't even really know why I-"
"Hey, you don't have to explain anything to me," Sam shook his head definitively, taking a few small steps toward her, now within arms reach. "I understand what you're going through-sort of, and you know, in reverse but still-I get it. Don't worry about it," He reached over and took her hand, squeezing it, "I'm just happy I found you."
At his touch, her heart skipped a beat and she felt her whole body flush, goosebumps forming on her skin. The sincerity in his voice and the look in his eyes nearly made her physically swoon. Was that an admission of something or just a subtextless statement of forgiveness? Staring into his eyes made her feel like she was on the downswing of the world's tallest roller coaster. She had to force herself to break eye contact before she could breathe again. He squeezed her hand once more before slowly letting go and as he did she had a realization.
"Thank you." Mustering up a smile through her butterflies, she clumsily grabbed the clothing she needed. "Anyway, I'm suddenly very, very aware of the fact that I'm naked-oh and have been since the three of you got here," She realized, blushing again. Jesus, I took a bath with Dean Winchester in the next room. Her legs felt like jelly as she tried to remain cool, calm, collect, walking toward the bathroom, "Uh, so, I should probably go put some clothes on, now."
Sam nodded understandingly and said with an earnest expression, "Hopefully not on my account." When George froze mid step and jerked her head towards him, burning red from head to toe, he faltered, "Er-uh-I just meant, you don't need to feel uncomfortable naaak-err-without-I mean you aren't making me uncomfortable while-without… clothes." George was relaxed by his shy, adorable stuttering, although at this point 'shy' surprised her. He'd been just as bold back at the bunker, more than once. He sighed and gave her a meek smile, "Uh, somehow this sounded less creepy in my head."
With a chuckle she put him out of his misery, "Relax, Ravenclaw, I understand. It's not on your account, it's on mine," She assured him, to which he nodded thankfully, a relieved expression on his face. She turned back to the door of the bathroom, pushing it open and stepping in.
When she exited the bathroom again, now fully clothed, the only light in the room was now the small, soft light above the bed. At first, the room seemed empty and George wondered if she'd scared Sam away with all her emotions. She was about to call out for him when she finally noticed a pair of big old feet sticking out from along the side of the bed near the window.
"Sam? What are you doing?" She walked over and found him lying on the ground on top of one solitary blanket.
"Just relaxing." He shrugged boyishly.
"On the floor?"
He clarified, "On my bed."
"Sorry, this tissue paper is supposed to be your bed?" She asked for clarification.
"Standard issue motel comforter. And, yea, it's perfect," He reached down on his side and pulled the right side of the blanket over himself. "See, you just fold the top over and it becomes a mattress and a blanket in one!" He seemed genuinely pleased about his makeshift accommodations, as though he was sharing a trade secret with her.
"Wow," she tried to sound impressed, "clever." She hopped onto the bed above him complimenting a bit sarcastically, "Quite the boy scout, aren't you?"
His head jerked up to look at her. There it was again. Another line direct from his dream falling familiarly from her lips. Hearing the pet name conjured images in his mind of the dream woman saying it. It felt identical.
But, how? That dream wasn't real. It was just Gabriel. George is a different woman, it's just a coin-
"Hey, can I ask you something?" George cut into his internal panicking with a soft voice suddenly.
"Yep?" He tried to seem nonchalant.
"Well… OK, I'm just going to say this because fuck it, I have nothing to lose at this point," She wasn't looking at him but sensed his nervous curiosity right away. Ignoring her own butterflies, she said, "Seems to me that the Sam I met at the bunker would have committed to that earlier 'unintended' innuendo." She raised a sideways brow at him, checking out of the corner of her eye to make sure he understood what she was referencing. When she could tell he did, she finally turned her head to meet his eyes and with a shy smile asked, "So, what gives?"
Sam considered her question for a minute; he wasn't sure where to start. Finally he folded his hands in his lap and shrugged sadly, "Actually, uh-about that, I feel like I owe you an apology."
Oooh, that doesn't sound good, George tried to hide her grimace. Her stomach started twisting in painful knots. What's that you were saying about nothing to lose?
"Por que?" She was trying to stave off a cold sweat.
"For… Well, I guess, how about handcuffing you to a chair and interrogating you for starters? For allowing you to be sexually assaulted by a demon? For letting you risk your life to come with us on this hunt? For hitting on you when you were obviously going through a difficult time? Take your pick."
She let out a breath of surprised relief and smiled curiously, "Oh… well in that case, let me just say: one, your brother was the one who handcuffed me to the chair--and it was understandable. Two, it's not your responsibility to protect me from the likes of Tim. He wasn't the first creep and he won't be the last." He seemed thoroughly unsatisfied by that response, so she tried to lighten it up by continuing, "And three, you didn't let me come on the hunt. Clearly I strong armed you." A tiny snort of amusement emitted from him and she smirked, then added curiously, "And, lastly, just to be clear… you were hitting on me?"
He huffed in humiliation, running his hand over his face, unable to look at her, "God, I feel like a real jackass." A blackhole was growing in the pit of his stomach. "Your world was literally turned upside down and you needed help not--not some weird, bunker dwelling asshole making advances."
"Uh, Sam," At first George laughed; the absurdity of the hottest man on television apologizing for hitting on her struck her funny bone. However, when it registered just how sober the tone of his voice was, the reality of the situation hit her again like a ton of bricks. She realized that part of her was still anticipating Jared to break at some point and reveal all of this had been an elaborate set up. It hadn't occurred to her yet that, for Sam, this was all real. His sincerity touched her.
She swallowed down the rest of her laughter, along with her typical smartass response, and smiled kindly, "Thank you for the apology and I appreciate the thought, I really do, but it's not necessary. You had no idea, considering I lied to you--which I'm also sorry about if I haven't already said that." That last part came out quickly upon realizing she might not have apologized yet. He gave her a kind smile and waved her off gently, so she continued, "So, please don't feel guilty. And I'll let you know if your advances are ever unwanted. Promise."
The deja vu hit him again so hard it knocked the wind out of him. His eyes snapped up to meet hers from his spot on the floor. A blush creeped across her cheeks as he stared curiously. She was back on the roller coaster, butterflies tumbling in her gut, but forced herself to keep eye contact, allowing him to conduct his search. She wasn't sure what he was so determinedly looking for but she hoped he was finding it.
A mix of emotions wrestled within him at the moment. Though he knew logically it made no sense, he was having a harder and harder time denying that he knew this woman, intimately--in every sense of the word. But, how?! And, holy shit, was she saying what he hoped she was saying? He could feel his hopes skyrocketing while he struggled to hold them down in self-preservation.
A huge yawn broke out on her face, ruining the moment and snapping Sam out of his stupor.
"Whoa, Jesus," She laughed a bit, surprised by the force of the yawn.
"Time for bed?" Sam tried to mask his disappointment at the disruption. She nodded agreeably.
"Listen, could you at least take a pillow, please? One pillow? For me?" Pulling the sheets back, so she could climb in, she yanked a pillow out and tossed it over the edge of the bed. She heard it land with an audible POOMPF right on his face. "Oops," she said with a snicker, reaching over to turn off the lamp on the table while he adjusted the pillow behind his head.
Sliding up under the covers, she settled down on her back. The deafening silence in the room allowed her mind to wander freely while she stared up at the ceiling. After a moment she rolled onto her side and peeked over the edge of the bed, surprised to find Sam's beautiful hazel eyes staring intensely back at her in the dark.
She whispered, "Sam?"
"Yeah?" Came a soft, low rumble, as he continued to stare back.
"How did you find me?" She wondered.
"Uh…" He turned away from her quickly and shifted nervously. He felt compelled to be honest with her; luckily the shroud of darkness made him bolder than he would have been in the harsh light of day. "We tracked you through the cab company mostly. Lost your trail at the diner and then… I'm not really sure. We were driving around and when I saw the sign for the motel I… uh, just had a strong feeling that you were here?"
"...uh huh." His answer surprised her. So much so, that she had to break eye contact and lay back down. She stared at the ceiling in shock.
What did that mean?
Though even as she asked herself the question, she had a feeling that she already knew. It was a feeling that didn't exactly put her at ease; raising more questions than it answered. She mulled it over for a few moments, before deciding she was too tired to pull at that thread.
She finally shrugged a little and said, "Good instincts?"
"Yeah… that must be it," He trailed off, having a nearly identical conversation with himself, and they fell silent again.
"Sam?" She said, choking back a nervous laughter. When she heard him respond with a curious grunt she hesitated. Finally, she blurted in a quiet, definitive whisper, "Samgirl. No question." When she could hear the smile behind another, practically silent--as though he was trying to hide it--grunt of confirmation she smiled wide, adding quickly, "And just so you know, that is the first and last time you will ever hear me utter that silly term of my own volition."
"Understood," He murmured in a teasingly serious tone, making her laugh quietly.
With another big yawn, she forced herself to stop engaging. Before rolling over, she tossed over her shoulder, "And don't tell Dean. He'll be devastated and we have a job to do." The sound of his joyful chuckling was the last thing she heard before sleep overtook her.
