so..... they ‘killed eve’ by killing the woman who made her happy... yeh i’m .... i’m not feeling great about this...
#killing eve spoilers#look#i kinda knew it was gonna hav a sad/dark ending because that's what they were setting up#but i think not letting villaneve come together until the very last episode made everything so much worse#cos it wasnt the poignant tragedy that it couldve been u kno?#they gave eve what she wanted only to rip if from her immediately like... hmm...#idk idk i cant put my thoughts together about this but something definitely rubbed me the wrong way...#i WILL SAY though#people comparing this to the supernatural or game of thrones finales annoy me#cos regardless of the tone deaf nature of that finale#the amount of ground breaking writing and rep and just EVERYTHING bout so many of the characters from ke#is NOTHING like the misogynistic/racist/rape glorifying/homophobic/etc things in spn or got#and i'm saying this as a supernatural fan lol like i love that dumb show#but trying to claim it can b compared in anyway to something like ke is kinda hilar lol#(i mean u could argue that the ke situ is WORSE since the show was so good and then fell at the last hurdle lol but yh... idk)
