small town chronically ill life can be very interesting in a lot of ways.
one of those is the mild existential crisis of realizing you’re probably the only person in your town taking a certain medication
#my local small business pharmacy not only had to order it; he said he had to look it up 😶#(nothing against him he’s GREAT at working with my complex needs. he’s very knowledgeable but not opposed to doing his research)#i love my local gp and pharmacist. they keep me alive and sane#but this med was prescribed by my eds/mcas/pots specialist who is very much NOT local lol#it’s oral cromolyn which is pretty much only used for mastocytosis and mcas so it’s not very common#tbh i’m just happy my insurance fully covers it!!#mcas#chronic illness
