wanna see where it goes but. until rn the Percy Jackson show is sooooo mid
#myposts#like sorry @ ppl who like it but i was kinda hoping that since this is an adaptation of a childrens book#for an audience who now arent children anymore and since author had like. a decade to think about the story again#there might be changes or added complexity but rn its really just a childrens show with pretty bad dialogue#i hope there might be some changes later but. like. it's not BAD that they're just adapting the plot of the book#but this is kinda making me realise how lackluster and boring the pjo plot was esp in early books lol#i was pretty hyped about the girl who plays annabeth because i liked the change#because the 'people dont think im smart because im blonde' plot would have been sooo outdated#so i thought theyd generally modernize the show a bit? idk maybe all of that will happen#but rn its just as bad and cheesy as the og book was lol
