Got my nails done at a salon (I'm a real [neighborhood i live in redacted] girl now) and I'm happy with the fact that they are done but I definitely did not choose the right color and it also frustrates me that nail techs, in the interest of not getting polish all over your cuticles, don't fill the nail all the way in with the nail polish? Like there's barely a 1 mm gap around my nails before hitting the skin, but it bothers me cuz I feel like it takes away precious length that would've otherwise made my nails feel much nicer and more elegant.

#i was blessed with lovely long fingers but my nail beds arent that long so to have these stubby nails on top of my long fingers #just kinda looks childish #also i got these done in the hopes of doing an engagement photoshoot but my fiance is so lucky cuz i really didnt pick the right color #i wanted like a desaturated muted earthy green like the color of a eucalyptus leaf or a tree through a sepia filter #but this is just mint.#i say hes lucky bc he doesnt want to take pics but TOO BAD ITS THE HAOPIEST AND MOST IMPORTSNT TIME OF OUR LIVES AND MY MEMORY ISNT GOOD #so i require pics to memorialize
