Finally just decided to buy the untranslated Obey Me manga. I mean they finished it up with volume 3 and I don't know what mangaplaza is doing but at this point I'm not waiting for them to "get around to translating it" it still baffles me they actually said that so why not just buy the jp version, right?

My Japanese isn't even close to good enough to be able to read it all but I got the gist and theres always mtl, though thats often overly literal and not suuuuuper accurate. Still better than nothing.
