means if their hatred for each other isn’t born out of something so personal it leaches into their sense of self and they don’t keep being funny (slightly murderous) forever ion want it. they gotta be mutually destructive they gotta have that same ends of a magnet swag. their relationship going both ways has to have teeth. they gotta be like. if I accept this thing about this guy I have to accept it about myself and I can’t do that because it sucks so bad
