it's funny when you have a dark ages character and you get to think that they were an ancestor of a character you have in the present day timeline. a "sure grandpa let's go get you to bed" vibe. you get to write the dark ages character as high and mighty despite the fact that he was just a loser like his childer

#case in point: michele and two of my current day tremere #morgan (i really wanna post about him but i will postpone it until a certain point in the phoenix plot) and miriam are both his descendants #but they get different treatment because morgan is 10th generation and miriam is 12th #michele doesn't even consider her kindred anymore #so it is okay for her to be a loser #morgan? nah this dude is getting judged for everything #mainly not knowing blood sorcery and not being able to pull a malkavian #vampire the masquerade
